  1. 76306 is apparently cancelled according to @Lego_Minecraft_Goat. Was set to include Thor, 2 Outriders and potentially more. Could have been for Infinity War or Endgame judging by the Outriders I guess. Not the first time we've had sets that never released, but interesting to hear about a cancellation first before we get the Summer wave names/details. Hopefully we get more info on the sets that are releasing. I could see a set like the 'Captain America: Civil War: Airport Battle' where we get a full-bodied Sandman constraction figure with a slightly larger build with a reduced figure count of Venom, New Goblin, Spider-man, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson and J.J.Jameson. Then another set where we get Black-suited Spider-man Vs minifigure-sized Sandman where they can throw in Eddie Brock. Yeah, should start filming in March as long as nothing is delayed. Still kinda expecting Avengers: Secret Wars to be split into two also, allowing an 'Avengers: Forever' in 2028. I think if the theme is still popular enough they would circle back to certain films afterwards. Deadpool I think would just be CMF series - unless he has a large role in Avengers: Secret Wars, but I imagine his role will be small and played for comedy so they might just skip him again. I'd imagine that they'll revisit Thunderbolts if it's popular enough through a legacy set, but personally find the visual element of the film to be a downgrade so perhaps Lego thought the same of the potential for a set. Not entirely sure people would buy figures of them with the looks from the movie.
  2. I'm concerned it may end up another scenario where we get concept art that does not match the film. The potential for figures for Avengers Doomsday/Secret Wars is likely going to wind up resulting in us getting a flood of sets released over the next five years or so - similar to how we are still waiting on characters from Avengers: Endgame. Will be interesting to see how they handle Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars in regards to sets - especially now that they have started doing Final Battle sets. Not sure what Spider-man 4 becomes, but I imagine we are getting the symbiote suit in either one or more of Avengers Doomsday, Spider-man 4 and Secret Wars. That way they can use it for conflict with Tobey Spider-man who knows what the black suit is and what it does - and it allows an exploration of Tom's Spider-man's emotional state after the events of NWH.
  3. I think they could reach to each different era of Sony Spider-man stuff, with the CMF acting as a way to give figures that would'nt warrant a full set. Alternatively the CMF could just pick random Spider-man suits from across all the media that we've not got yet: Anti-Ock Suit (Spider-man PS4) Anti-Venom suit (Spider-man PS5) The Human Spider suit (Spider-man 1) Black-Suited suit (Spider-man 3) TASM1 Suit (The Amazing Spider-man 1) Homemade suit (Homecoming) Symbiote Suit (Spider-man PS5) Design and colour scheme is different enough to warrant it, plus they can probably throw in an exclusive figure either Quicksilver or Ultimate Ultron to seal the deal. If we are getting a Mr Negative figure then perhaps one of the sets is based on Spider-man PS4 - who also made a cameo in the Spider-verse films.
  4. Probably going too overboard with Spider-man speculation as I doubt we'll get a full wave of Spider-man-related stuff, but could see the following: $19.99 - Green Goblin Attack: Green Goblin (Mask & Glider), Spider-man, Mary Jane Watson $34.99 - Spider-man Dinosaur set (Featuring T-Rex Spider-man) $49.99 - The Prowler's apartment - Prowler, Miles Morales, Rio Morales, Peter B.Parker $49.99 - Doc Ock Train Battle: Doc Ock, Spider-man, Train Driver, J.J.Jameson - Train build $49.99 - Venom Villain Showdown: Venom, Spider-man, New Goblin - Brick-built Sandman $119.99 - Age Of Ultron: Final Battle: Ultimate Ultron, Vision (Repeat), Scarlet Witch (Repeat), Quicksilver, Hulk (Repeat), Thor (Repeat), Iron Man (Repeat), Ultron Drone $129.99 - Spider-Society HQ: Spider-man 2099, Miles Morales (Repeat), Hobie Brown, Pavitr Prabhakar, Peter B.Parker (Repeat), Mayday Parker, Spider-Gwen (Repeat), etc... If you did 'inspired by' sets you could probably throw in more characters if needed, but I feel the locations would work for interesting builds. Spider-man 1 has the Bridge/Cable Car scene (Spider-man, Green Goblin, Mary Jane Watson, Civilians...) Spider-man 2 has the Docks (Spider-man, Doc Ock, Mary Jane Watson) Spider-man 3 has the Construction site (Spider-man, Venom, New Goblin, Sandman, Mary Jane Watson, J.J.Jameson) TASM1 has Oscorp (Spider-man, Gwen Stacy, Crane Operator, Lizard, Captain Stacy) TASM 2 has the Clocktower/Powerplant fight (Electro, Goblin, Gwen Stacy, Spider-man...) If they do 'inspired by' you could easily have 7/8 figures: Black Suited Spider-man, Spider-man, New Goblin, Venom, Sandman, Mary Jane Watson, J.J.Jameson, Gwen Stacy. Having two versions of Spider-man for a 'transformation' feature swapping between the two. Sandman can be included in his regular form piloting a mech-version of himself to help vary it from the constraction figure in the NWH set (Similar to the rumored Endgame Giant-Man mech). You could even include regular versions of Peter Parker and Eddie Brock if you needed to add to the figure count and story opportunities.
  5. Raimi wave is the dream. I've speculated a lot about sets relating to it. My ideal hope is that we'd get a Doc Ock Hideout remake. Most likely option would be: Origins set: Peter Parker, Spider-man, Green Goblin (Mask/helmet and glider) Doc Ock's train heist: Spider-man, Doc Ock, Train Driver, Civilian Spider-man 3 Final Battle (Suspended Taxi/scaffolding build + Sandman arm) with Venom, Sandman, New Goblin, Spider-man, Mary Jane and J.J.Jameson
  6. My hope is still that we get a revamped Helicarrier or that they delve into the Iron Man Malibu Mansion. Personally would do it as two different sets. One set would featuring a segment of the Rainbow bridge and a half-built Bifrost with the trans-clear Yggdrasil as the core of the display. It'd be based on the first film featuring Thor, Loki, Heimdall, Laufey (The Frost Giant) and Odin. The build would be like the 75352 but be less intricate. One set would connect with the other set. It'd feature a castle-like building with a segment of the Rainbow Bridge. The figures would be Thor, Loki, Sif, Fandral, Hogun, Vostagg, Frigga, Jane Foster, Asgardian Soldier. It'd be in the same style of 43222. You'd probably have additional cheaper sets so that some of the characters could be featured elsewhere such as: Thor Vs The Destroyer featuring Thor, Jane and Sif Thor: The Dark World featuring Jane, Thor, Loki, Malekith, Kurse, Fandral, Dark Elf It's weird as we also had the buildable Ant-Man figure released around Ant-Man 3 so this'll be the third time we are getting a brick-built constraction figure of him.
  7. Throwing it out here as speculation, what if it's actually the Egg Breaker and 'Egg Crusher' is a nameswap. As that mech was recently brought back for Shadow: Dark Beginnings. 77005: Knuckles vs Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech, 350 pieces, $39.99 77006: Team Sonic Command Truck, 747 pieces, $59.99 Not sure the main source, but is listed on Jedijac Penguins list for 2025. 77005 probably has 2-3 figures, if we're lucky then maybe a cheaper way to get Robotnik, but not expecting much from that set. 77006 intrigues me due to the piece count vs pricing, Egg Driller had 590 pieces for $79.99 yet this set has 747 pieces seemingly for $59.99? Not really expecting new figures if the pricing is low compared to piece count. Sonic as a theme has: Robotnik, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge, Metal Sonic, Super Sonic, Super Shadow The characters in bold are in the January wave of 2025 sets The characters underlined are expected to be in the two August sets The characters in italic have been recently released so don't desperately need to be re-released in the August sets, but may still feature. The only set we've had with Rouge was released January 1st 2024 and all the 2023 sets retired after 1 year 5 months if that happens again this time then that set will retire before these two new sets. So I would'nt be surprised if Rouge is included in one of these two sets to ensure Sonic fans can collect all the characters - in a similar regards we'd probably see the Master Emerald brought back as there's a 'collect the Chaos Emeralds' gimmick with the 2025 sets each featuring a Chaos Emerald. If we're getting a new character then it'd probably be in the more expensive set, but the piece count is seemingly really good for the pricing so I doubt it. If they want an easy new character then Emperor Metallix would work well, just a red/gold Metal Sonic, and would work to persuade people to army build Metal Sonic if they have familiarity with the character.
  8. Thanks for the update, any news on other sets? :3 I still think we'll get one eventually, best to capitalize on the displayable heads line by at least doing Sonic to go alongside Shadow. Even if we do get a bit of a gap between releases; Similar to how we had Venom (April 2021), Carnage (May 2021) and then a Spider-man (Jan 2024) and now potentially a Miles Morales Spider-man head (2025?).
  9. I'm mostly interested in legacy sets for films, characters or scenarios we've not seen before - or Iron Man related. Other than that, I'm not invested in them revisiting stuff they've already done. Although I think a redone version of the Helicarrier does make sense. I'd like the void version of Spot, but while I enjoyed the first Spider-verse, never got sold on the second so a majority of the characters I would'nt be invested in getting. I think if the CMF comes out then I'd perhaps get a few. As for Fantastic Four, I'm partially interested, will need to see how they look. They always seemed overly expensive and offered very little. Not surprised they might be phasing them out.
  10. Hope we get some neat legacy sets, that's pretty much my main interest in the line.
  11. Disappointed Lego have not fixed the printing issue of the print colour getting altered by what they are printing onto, especially given some of the insane prices we've seen in other themes sets. Lego's earning enough where we should'nt be getting products that don't match the product shots, it's misleading. Yeah, the back print needed to be higher up. It's supposed to be his body is effectively a jet engine, so the intake and outtake should be the same level. I'm not sure if they'll fix that in future sets as it'd require a new back print as the 'fin' print above the outtake of the jet engine is where the outtake would need to be if they were going for accuracy.
  12. @FinlayTheFaithful @Agent Kallus I think it's not entirely a popularity concern and more that the theme as a whole would likely have originally being scheduled for three years. 2023: Sonic, Amy, Tails, Robotnik 2024: Shadow, Rouge, Knuckles, Super Sonic 2025: Super Shadow, Metal Sonic So we're probably going to get two more figures in the second half of the year. In my view this would be: Big The Cat (Big Fig) and Cream the Rabbit (Minifigure) If we're very lucky then they could also include Cheese (Molded piece), Omega (Brick-Built) - meaning by the end of the third year we'd have all of Team Sonic, Team Rose and Team Dark. 2026 would be my view of when we'll get a chance at characters like Silver, Blaze, Super Silver, The Chaotix. Unless ofcourse they go CMF option in which case they could easily give us a majority of Sonic characters. @Takanuinuva That's pretty neat, interesting feature to have. I suppose it'd play into the idea of him being a robot and could portray him flying with his head pointed upwards/forward.
  13. Nice spot, it's a little weird, but I'd probably use it for some sort of display where he's hooked up to a machine (Or plugged into a Metal Overlord if we ever get that) As long as the line is popular enough then I imagine we'll get them eventually. I imagine Vector would probably need to be handled like Robotnik though. Hopefully we hear news on Summer 2025 Sonic sets soon.
  14. Soundwave does make the most sense, he's blocky enough that he's not that complicated. I'd imagine the main appeal will be the 'eject' gimmick and they'll probably find a way to include Ravage & Laserbeak as figures with mixel joints while perhaps giving us an ejectable casette build of Frenzy. I doubt they'll have transforming casette builds, but they'd still want to include some additional playability as Soundwave would just be a stationary robot or a block. I'm still leaning more to Megatron being the next set with a tank or truck alt-mode than Starscream, I think having a flying alt-mode makes it more tricky from an official Lego design standpoint as it'd likely need to have swooshability and not fall apart easily.
  15. If you are telling me they are popular in comics, I won't disagree as I've not had enough experience in the comics beyond a few run cancellations, yet its not translating to the movie portrayals. I think Lego is recognising this. Why make many MCU sets moving forward when they can't guarantee that the sales will be there? Popular characters in comics are no longer translating to the film adaptations. Worse still the MCU adaptations are being subject to a lot more issues moving forward. Why make a CMF based on concept art of potentially delayed future Disney+ shows when they can instead capitalise on an already existing film franchise that has a guaranteed audience such as the Spider-verse films? They are seemingly choosing to make sets based on the portrayals of the characters that are actually popular hence the rumours of the Fantastic Four set being based on the comics and the potential for them to skip Thunderbolts entirely Which makes sense as rather than Lego taking the time to develop and release sets using concept art for upcoming films, they can wait, seeing how the audience reacts and then eventually doing accurate legacy sets further down the line if the audience has shown they will support them. I'm sure we'll still get a wave of sets releasing for Avengers 5, Spider-man 4 and Avengers 6 but I think the model of how Lego releases MCU tie-in sets is changing. I think Legacy and comic-inspired sets are going to become the main focus unless the overall performance of the MCU demonstrates a turnaround.
  16. Personally I'm detatched from almost all the projects moving forward, I'm after a few legacy characters to be adapted into Lego set form but I really dislike how they are handling characters and stories. I do not have faith in the creative teams behind these projects to deliver and in fact it terrifies me what they may do with certain characters. 2025 is kinda a 'skip' year for me in regards to MCU content where I'll probably get the Fantastic Four set if it has Galactus but I'm really hoping that set is comic-inspired because I'd rather have the comic Fantastic Four than the MCU versions. If we're going Sony's Universe figures then: Eddie Brock (With spare half-Venomised head) She-Venom (With Venom Symbiote Vial) Venom (With spare closed-mouth Venom head) Riot (Grey Symbiote - with Vial) Morbius (Spare head for Vampire version) Milo (Spare head for Vampire version) Mrs. Chen (Two-sided face, other side is Venomised) Carnage (With spikes - with Vial) Shriek (Two-sided face) Lasher (Green Symbiote with Vial) Agony (Purple Symbiote - with Vial) Kraven The Hunter (With Spear) The 'vial' idea is that you'd be able to display all the symbiotes in the vials similar to how they appeared in the movie and would act as a 'collect them all' aspect. Though admittedly this idea would mean a very symbiote-focused CMF series.
  17. Maybe we'll be lucky and have a CMF in 2026/2027 so that we can help fill the Avengers film roster. I'd love to see them revisit the Raimi series. They have to know that there is a market for that.
  18. If it does happen I'd imagine it would be: Miles Gwen Peter B Parker Spider-Ham Peni Parker Spider-man Noir Spider-Woman Spider-man India Spider-Punk Spider-Man 2099 Prowler Spot (Void Form) They could potentially throw some curveballs such as switching Miles for Miles G. Morales, but I doubt we'll get much more variance than that. A majority of the characters are presumably returning for Avengers Doomsday/Secret Wars and potentially Avengers: Forever when they decide to split Secret Wars in half :p I would'nt be surprised if rather than take the risk and release sets based on individual releases they'll just wait it out till 2026 and give us the characters then when they appear. Either that or revisit the films if they are financially succesful through the use of legacy sets.
  19. We're getting one in 76314 in January... I also would'nt even be surprised if 76316's Galactus is handled with a constraction figure in April. If anything they seem to be encorporating them into sets with figures and they may be how buildable figures in sets will be tackled for larger characters moving forward. I don't think it's fair to say the line is in limbo, as it's clear they are experimenting with how to tackle the line. We've seen them released as figures, figures with additional tools, figures with a vehicle, figures with a larger vehicle and in 2025 we're seeing them releasing as figures with a playset.
  20. Why do you think the constraction figures are being discontinued? They are both speaking from what they have heard as rumors or seen in a limited location. With sales potentially being predominantly online nowadays it's easily possible for the figures to be selling well online but not moving from toy shelves - especially if people are trying to get Lego VIP points, offers, etc...
  21. This is most likely the case, at the absolute earliest the release date for them would be late 2026/2027. My hope is when they they say 'live-action Lego movie' they are just going to take the plot and transpose it onto a live-action setting as opposed to Legofying it like with the Minecraft movie recently. In essence it'd just be a Ninja movie with the plot of Ninjago. E.g. Ninjago actually just goes full live-action. I'm really curious about the other three live-action movies though as they'd likely need to be based on pre-existing brands or perhaps lean on other brands that Universal has access to. Not particularly a fan of the directors they've announced for the other films though.
  22. Yeah, did not mean to drag things off-topic, just weird that we're not getting an Anthony Mackie head included. The potential for box variation is there but they might not do that, was just speculating. They've recently announced three live-action Lego movies in the works, while we probably won't see them for quite a while and they are being made for Universal, wondering if we'll see any potential crossover with Superhero themes in them. I'm guessing it's based partial on a big action sequence involving the two flying around Tiamut's hand in the ocean. I'm fine conceptually with the buildable figure and the Lego set using the masked version of the face/helmet though I don't feel it looks good in the constraction figure form and the minifigure version looks a bit messy. As for the main set this is the only set with figures we are getting for this film. We probably won't get Anthony Mackie's Captain America again until Avengers Doomsday in 2026 and we can't rely on that as they will presumably have a lot of characters that will needed to be represented in sets.
  23. Captain America 4 stuff is an easy pass, feels like Lego and Disney are trying to hide the actor so I imagine they'll release a variant of the box art without Anthony Mackie showing, glad that we get some recolours thanks to the construction figure. The new Hall Of Armour is underwhelming. I get why they keep changing the display area design so that people don't feel they are being sold the exact same thing over and over with different figures, but they should really just be doing these as minifigure packs at this point OR doing the armour display area as a seperate set. Feels like most the figures are for a future Iron Man 3 Final Battle set. Igor looks goofy but is a slight improvement over the previous, though no point really getting an Igor unless they plan to give us more of the Iron Man 3 final battle for him to feature in. MK6 is nice to finally get. Killian looks accurate to his final battle appearance including the unprinted grey trousers but is less impressive than glow-in-the-dark Killian from last time. Pepper Potts' inclusion feels like she's filling a figure slot. New Iron Patriot is something but looks worse than the last version. Re-use of the MK43 is an odd choice. Could have easily ditched the MK43 and Pepper and just had Iron Patriot, Igor as the build, Killian and the MK6 and do it as a form of 'inspired-by' battle pack.
  24. Seems like the Iron Man Mech & Ultron set has comic-inspired versions of the figures, both get leg print which is great, Ultron looks good and the return of the helmet/neck piece so hopefully that means it'll be re-used again in 2025 for movie Ultron.
  25. We're getting a version of Ultron in January... As for Quicksilver, my hope is still that we'll get another variation of the AoU final battle set actually focused on the final confrontation which could include another variant of Ultron. • Set: 76307 - {? Iron Man Mech VS Ultron ?} • Includes 101 pieces • Minifigures: Iron Man, Ultron • US $14.99 - DE/FR €14.99 - UK £12.99 • Release: JANUARY 1ST 2025 (Relayed from the list by Jedijacpenguin) Yeah, it doesn't really fit well with anything in terms of scale. As per how it appears, you'd want an additional floor at minimum though that would still only make it the size of the Parisian Restraunt and you'd have to alter the entrance to make it bigger. Mansion's probably a pass for me, I get what they were going for but I'm not sold on it.
