Yeah, was using the Argos catalogue image, not sure either as it could be an error as you said. Though i doubt the Tower would be more than the Quinjet as the Quinjet has more exclusive figures (Ultimate Ultron, Vision, Captain America and Black Widow) and seemingly has more pieces. -
Personally i think the new bone pieces speak a lot about the future direction of Bionicle, each set being made more specifically so that their are not any spare holes or ball joints left over. That can be viewed as both a positive and a negative depending on how you feel about the pieces in question. I doubt the first three are fakes, early leaks thats for sure, but given they contain similar pieces to the Skull Grinder who seems to be with a fairly finalized set design, i'm pretty sure they are legitimate sets.

Skull Warrior looks intriguing, a new trans-blue chest piece should be good with MOC's. Interested to see more details on him. Skull Slicer is a little disappointing, not sure how his upper arms work. The trans-green chest pieces is nice. Skull Basher looks odd, once again need more details to judge. The trans-red chest pieces is probably my favourite variation and i can see a lot of MOC'ing potential. Skull Scorpio looks a bit of a mess, odd proportions, hoping this is a very early leak and that it'll be improved. Mask Maker Vs Skull Grinder is probably the most finalised. Mask Maker is definitely Ekimu and the Mask Of Creation plus Golden Protector mask are an instant win. The massive chain Skull Grinder has is interesting. Just pointing out they are not recycling the golden masks, the masks are their temporarily in place of what will likely be golden versions of the villain's masks or other special masks. Ekimu and Skull Grinder is the only one with a finalised design.

Iron Man Vs Ultron definitely seems to be the set to get, as an army builder i cannot fault it as it focuses almost entirely on figures and four figures for such a cheap price (£11.99) it is perfect even if the piece count is lacking. Hydra Showdown to me is disappointing, when you have a cheap set with four figures, a more expensive set should have four or more figures easily. So having three figures with two vehicles that dont interest me makes this an easy pass. Hulkbuster Smash is in my mind a set that is intended to be a rivalry to the Hydra Raid. This set contains Scarlet Witch as an opposite to that sets Quick Silver and both include the Hulk. Though in my mind this set wins as rather than include another fairly generic vehicle and a building, this set contains a brick-built Hulkbuster which is more iconic. Pick up this set and get Strucker and Quick Silver via another method. To be honest the Quinjet City Chase rides entirely on the Quinjet, which is essentially the Milano combined with the Quinjet in terms of its design. Personally i'm not a fan of the Quinjet and Vision looks odd the more i see him so i'm more than likely going to pick-up the figures elsewhere or wait for the sales on this. Attack On Avengers tower features the same issue as most sets, playability over details. As such to me the building is disappointing. The figures are 'ok' though the drones and Ultron dont entirely match what we've seen. Either way, both of these are inferior sets to the Helicarrier in terms of how iconic they are. As such if i get the Helicarrier i'll be skipping these sets and picking up the figures. Its £59.99, but yeah, i agree -
Giving relationships are canon now... that raises a lot of questions...

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Answers; - TheBrickFan stated it was a rumour for the release this week, as such it might not appear this week - The week doesnt end till Sunday, have patience Personally i think we'll see it on the 28th. -
- The island is filled with post-apocalyptic ruins, strange symbols and intrigue. - Lord of Skull Spiders enjoys squeezing the life out of his victims, occasionally cocooning them and draining the life out of them via his fangs - His army of Skull Spiders i would guess as fan canon use the Skulls of the dead villagers he has captured - Essentially they are the skulls of former victims with spiders living inside them, alternatively they are the skulls that have becomes spiders... Like mentioned before the darker elements of the story are their, you just need to look at them and realise what it would mean if it was a realistic environment. As for thoughts on the sets/story/direction of TLG; I have no doubt that Bionicle will develop to become its own thing as it goes on. Likely to the extent where we get one heavily inspired technic set per wave (Lord Of Skull Spiders being an example of what to expect) Easiest way to tell the progress will be to compare the Summer 2015 sets to the Winter 2015 sets and see the general transition of parts. As for the story, I do believe Lego is underestimating the audience and dumbing down the story, likely intentionally as to catch new fans at a very young age and thus target more people. Sets lacking proper names is an example of this such as 'Mask Maker', 'Skull Grinder', 'Skull Slicer', 'Skull Scorpio', 'Lord Of Skull Spiders', 'Skull Spider', etc... as it keeps the story more simply and easy to get into for fans. Though we cannot really judge the story till the books and i think thats something we all need to remember. We can speculate and speak about the current way its being told, but, the animations, game and press releases are all dumbed down to the basics, straight forward information. The books will delve more into the darker aspects, under the belief of course, that the books will be targetted at more adult fans, which i may be wrong about. Either way everyone so far appears to be judging the story based on how it is told to children rather than the more adult fans.

I'm not sure what they meant by it either, can be interpreted a lot of different ways. Dark forces being Von Nebula out for revenge perhaps :P In seriousness i've no idea either, opens up a lot of possibilities for the future though depending on which 'Dark Forces' its referring to.

I know i'm the one who said all of it before. Just posted it again in answer to someone's inquiry. Next time i'll just direct them back to the post. We know quite a bit about the Helicarrier and not all of it is rumours, plus we have seen the front of it in the designer video. The rumours also mainly come from trustworthy sources or multiple sources which makes them more likely to be valid. -
Well these comics depict the arrival of the Toa and the Journey to the Masks. The other comics we saw prior depict the Toa getting the Golden masks. As such that seems to be about it in terms of covering the 'story so far', though we might get more

Lego released an official press release on Bionicle that seems to imply the characters are the same as before by saying they are back. In honesty its kinda complex with its phrasing describing them as new Bionicle characters yet also claiming they are back... In addition 'The Lord Of Skull Spiders' is confirmed to be a singular being via statements of 'His' and referring to him as a singular being The Mask Of Ultimate Power is confirmed as being evil and Makuta was taken over by 'Dark Forces' The awakening of Ekimu is confirmed for the Summer storyline Its revealed someone gave Ekimu and Makuta their masks (Control and Creation)

If you have the pieces and work off the Fire Protector's method of holding the shooter in place then it might be possible. Though the best idea i can think of is fiddling around using this and branching off that?

Actually the transparent thing is not on the box art, but the description does apparently mention that she's the one who uses the transparent piece. Figured it out :3 The Lego figure lacks the pieces surrounding the gold, the red pieces that jut-out from the dome in order to make the face plate seem like a face plate. In essence it was what stopped the dome just being a dome on the movie version. Hence why people have issues with the dome. Its so smooth and non-detailed other than the printed piece so any view other than directly from the front appears 'off'. Without the layers of detail on the dome, any other angle its viewed from is flawed. Even from the front it will be flawed as the printed piece doesnt have anything to seperate it from the surrounding dome. There are varying versions of Ultron. Ultimate Ultron in film has round eyes, Ultron MK1 in film has 'line' eyes, Ultron's drones in film have 'line eyes' and not sure about the Ultron Prime version. For the toys they are going with circular eyes with a helmet allowing for the 'line' eyes Link to source? -

True, but it means we'll get the rest of the official images very soon :3 -
My fan theory on this is because Ekimu is either asleep or in a coma that the 'Tomb' combined with the Golden Protector Mask serve as a kind of cryogenic life support system xD If its not the 'stud launchers' then his hammer probably uses this piece

So, 'The Hulkbuster Smash' has been revealed, so time for thoughts; - Ultron Prime appears to have a piece that connects between the head and body piece in order to have his side spikes - Hulk doesnt appear to have the neck articulation i was hoping for from big figs like Mungus from Chima - Scarlet Witch looks alright, though the hair piece should have been this - Some transparent pieces presumably so you can have Iron Man flying, in addition a transparent piece connects the Hulkbuster head to the body - The Hulkbuster arms look a tad thin and the legs look like Chicken Legs... but it seems a good build Will probably pick this up as a cheap way to get the Hulk along with a bunch of other important figures. Official images of the AOU sets appear to be appearing as shown here -

I'm guessing its based on the Ultimate Spider-man TV Series so probably like this; http://www.spidermancrawlspace.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/rhino1.jpg Alternatively it'll be something like this; http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140427193546/villains/images/8/8a/Amazing-spider-man-2-rhino.png Only difference seeming to be lighter and darker shades, but the general style should be similar so i guess you are right :3 Movie; https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6024/5971729915_71e14a6ca4_z.jpg Ultimate; http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/thedailybugle/images/0/07/Spinning_ARACHNIDISK_3.png/revision/latest?cb=20130330090531 -
Just wondering, will the cheaper sets include multiple masks? We've been getting used to 2-3 Masks per set and i hope that continues... Well the way i see it, if we are getting a Gold Protector Mask this year its either the March Polybag item meaning we should see it in about 2-3 weeks OR its in the Mask Maker Vs Skull Grinder set meaning we'll see it probably on the 28th. So wont be long to wait to discover if we are getting it.

It'd make sense that the SHIELD Agent in the Carnage set might be based on Ultimate Spider-man (TV Series) so might not fit in with the movie-based Helicarrier, but its a good idea non-the-less. I plan on doing the same with Ultron :3 TheBrickFan mentioned rumours that it would be this week however if we dont see it this week we will probably see it on the 28th. My guess is that Sandman is a regular figure, doubt he's anything other... given Rhino has a brickbuilt suit. -
I suppose, though its a nice touch if we get the Golden Protector masks... then we'd have a golden version of each of the main mask groups, one for the Toa, one for the Skull Spiders and one for the Protectors. Plus it matches the animation. Chances are the set will include the Mask Of Creation as a mask that the Mask Maker and Skull Grinder are fighting over anyway, so you'd probably be able to switch the Protector mask with the Mask Of Creation :3 I've gotten used to saving images that i like of varying Bionicle related things, easier than saving and organising links. As such i downloaded the images shortly after they were originally posted on this forum i think and re-uploaded them to imgur just now so i could share them. I had forgotten who made them, so sorry i didnt credit you. Personally i think they look pretty good
