    I would like to see other seasonal sets. There is a lot of wasted potential. And some of this occasions are definitely more important than Valentines. For example: April Fools' Day Children's Day - in many countries in June Mother's Day - in most countries around May Father's Day - May/June International Workers' Day or Labor Day (May or September) And start of summer vacations - mostly in June/July. For children one of the most important days in the year.

There is old name in the voting thread - I've changed it for: "Winter Village: Gasthaus (Moving Nativity Scene)" And link to the discussion thread is wrong - it moves you to the last year discussion.

    Thanks! You gave me new perspective - I never thought about it as about "antique family heirloom". Actually I didn't know the word "heirloom". But there is something about it... Thank you. I'm still afraid that most people didn't even notice that there are moving features.

    Lego calendar says that in February "new Exclusive Lego Theme" will be revealed. Any ideas what it will be?

    Thanks! I started to worry that nobody likes it. According to flickr statistic only about 10% people visiting this post have seen the movie showing how it moves. Maybe I should post some warning that it is a moving toy. Well, I was looking for some Christmas-themed figs. And "Gremlins" is some kind of Christmas movie. There are more figs on this balcony.

    Hi, This building is stuffed with power functions and lights, so please take a look at more pictures and movies on my flickr. Short movie: see here. More detailed shots (but poorer quality - I have some problems with camera): see here. I was inspired by special kind of nativity scenes called "Kraków szopka" (see here). However final result looks rather like "Gasthaus". I should mention that all elements are powered by one Lego motor. And they could be driven manually by one crank. And this is my first creation where Lego Technic parts (gears etc.) are doing their proper work (they are not used just for decorations).

    Is there are any rumors about big special set (like Sea Cow in the LEGO Movie series)? I also wonder if Alfred will come in some other set beside Batcave. If so, I will pick up Penguin car and skip Batcave.

    Inspiration for this scene was verse from "Rozmowa liryczna" (it could be translated like "Lyrically Talking", "A Lyrical Exchange" or "Poetic conversation") - poem by Polish poet Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński. In Polish it sounds: "A za oknami śnieg. Wrony na śniegu." I found only amateur translations, and all are rather far from lightness of the original phrase. One is: "And there is snow behind the windows. And there are crows." Second: "Though there is snow outside and crows on the snow." Third: "In spite of snow and crows on the snow." Fourth: "With the snow outside. Crows upon the snow." The last one is probably closest to the original. Anyway: And it comes with light function (see my Flickr).
