  1. Tim Burton, wow! Huge compliment! Thanks!
  2. Thank you! It's not a spaceship nor a medieval-like creation, so it's gone rather unnoticed...
  3. This is my entry for Lego Ideas "Create a Bricktastic Pop-Up Story" contest. Pop-uptic version of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis. Instructions: Step one: Open the book. Step two: Open the wardrobe. Step three: Enter the Narnia. You can find here: Tree of Youth from "The Magician's Nephew", Picture of the Dawn Treader, Mouse from chapter fifteen of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" (or Reepicheep if you like), Miniature versions of the Jadis' Castle and the Beaver's Dam (in my own interpretation, not the movie based), Some attic stuff (with old Lego boxes and Narnia map). And the movie: Check also: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/c03edd30-3a26-48cb-95fa-e7741878dbfc
  4. Thank you!
  5. Please remember - sugar is bad for your health. Sugar kills, so beware of the gingerbread houses. This is also my small tribute to Coen brothers' Fargo, the spooky girl minifigure and Grimm brothers: And I built this as a counterpoint to my Baba Yaga's garden (sisters keep the businesses side by side): More: my flickr
  6. My Wardrobe is getting some media attention. Some examples: https://www.thefirstnews.com/article/uni-doc-recreates-wardrobe-from-magical-world-of-narnia-with-2000-blocks-of-lego-3918 http://booklips.pl/newsy/polak-zbudowal-z-klockow-lego-szafe-prowadzaca-do-narnii-dzieki-waszym-glosom-zestaw-moze-trafic-do-oficjalnej-sprzedazy/ And I'm in good company: Merry Christmas!
  7. Thanks!
  8. Great, I'm in a local newspaper, and bad luck is that this one day Lego Ideas is planning to close Ideas site in the afternoon hours... They are breaking my efforts... https://www.dziennikwschodni.pl/lublin/super-lego-z-lublina,n,1000233044.html
  9. OK, so what about Nikifor. Was he artist or not?
  10. Well, it is a specific form of nativity called Kraków szopka. Here is another example: I built something in this style few years ago:
  11. Natibity scenes are ugly? Maybe yours:
  12. You have some childhood trauma for folk art or what? I understand this, growing up with garden gnomes can be traumatising...
  13. Waiting for the snow... Meanwhile - check also this snowy creation: \ My flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/128172951@N03/
  14. Thanks! Vote for it! Thank you!
  15. Speaking of Wonders of Peru - it was beautiful. Peruvian retablos are beautiful and sorry, but they are much better than garden gnomes. Garden gnomes are products of aesthetically primitive culture, Peruvian retablos are a sophisticated folk art (even if they are commercialised). And if you liked this project - check this one:
  16. Let's be honest - the new Ideas site sucks. Simply sucks. Everybody sees this, except the Ideas team. In my opinion now they care only for Rebricks contest. And as a result this site looks like a garbage bin.
  17. True. Maybe we need to start sending petitions to Lego?
  18. I love the dragon set (it's moving!) And I hate Lego for not allowing me to buy this.
  19. Bad... Bad... Bat Santa!
  20. Weren't you who reprimanded me to not insist on CopMike? :)
  21. This is Sariel's project. He is a Technic Super Star - 190 000 followers on YT.
