Unrest in the Forest, Day 1: Rush

Wrong. It tells us who is wishy-washy and who doesn't want to get noticed. -

I can assure you that Bruce and I were not in coordination. He PMed me, my guess is so that he could get some information from me before I got lynched, and I figured we could try to catch some maples by seeing who would jump off the bandwagon. He seems to have backstabbed me, but that's okay. I was going to get lynched whether he wanted to help or not. He just forfeited an opportunity to catch some maples. -

I told Bruce to unvote me as an experiment. I figured that about half of you were bandwagoning, and would change your vote as soon as he did. I figured it would help us find some maples. I think I'm pretty much screwed today, but I would like to point out: Bruce is breaking rule 6, and he should get 13 auto votes on him. -

I figured she was at a different intreenet running machine for the time being. I should have read her post more than once, taken the time to understand what I was talking about, and avoided all of this. -

That her intreenet was continuing to be out, and she woulndt be able to read the thread at all. -

This is what I answered. You are right in that I justified her voting for a random player. I misunderstood what she had said, but I was still wrong to justify it. -

Excuse me, but what? When did I ever say that? You just totally rejected everything I said and substituted it with bull fertilizer. According to your theory, neither me nor Hazel is a noob, yet we are both Maples and are both acting like noobs? Everyone knows that maples will do their best to seem at odds with each other, which is what you are doing. The more you talk, the happier I am with my vote. But Catarina is voting for Hazel. You said that you got them mixed up again. -

It's definitely a possibility Simon, it's a good way for maples to gain trust. -

I have given it much thought, and I have decided to vote for Miss Dogwood. Even after everyone else had ceased (or at least tried to) the puns and fluff, she kept right on going with it. After she got poked, she reacted rather aggressively, and she has been doing a bit if threatening and other such overly defensive scum behavior. Vote: Catarina Dogwood (adventurer1) I'm sure that some of you will say "teaming up with Hazel eh?", but let me assure you that Hazel is second on my scum list. She is playing erratically, almost as if she is taking the game as a joke. She seems to be trying too hard to seem town-like, and her nooby way of talking has gotten me in trouble too. -

This is you saying "I have no clue what I'm talking about, so I will quote someone who seems to know what he is doing and make myself look smart". When I see you in tree heaven, after all of this is over, and all of the Oaks are dead because they let a maple slip under the radar, I will wave my middle branch in your face and say "should have listened, should have listened". It's like you didn't even try to understand what I was saying. And I am not trying to put suspicions on any particular set of trees, I am pointing out that in every past experience I have had, I died because I let people who didn't talk slip under the radar. -

Ah, I see that I have acquired even more votes since I went into dormancy. You pretty much just said the opposite of what is really true. I'm not giving up, I'm just trusting in the brains of logical people to realize that voting for me is dumb. The only "evidence" against me is that people thought I was okay with Hazel throwing out a random vote, which I'm not okay with. I said I might vote for Hazel if I think she is the best candidate, but right now I'm not quite sure. My opinion flaps in the breeze? What makes you say that? I've stuck with my defense the whole way through, nobody feels like listening right now. Think about it people, my initial response to Hazel's bandwagoning pinged you as maple-y, but I've said multiple times that I don't like it. I removed me vote from Hazel before I saw that she was going to randomly vote. You need to read what I said. I didn't say I would vote for him at the end of the day, I said we should keep it in mind for later days, in case nothing came up. Just because I say that I don't think someone is a maple, doesn't mean I won't change my mind after more evidence surfaces. Someone can seem maple-y without me thinking they are actually a maple. -

How can you not understand that randomly voting for someone is bad? It shows that you are being too lazy to actually try to find the maples, or just don't want to find the maples. -

I got burned both of those times, so I would call that too many. -

I would like to point out that I have been burned by people who I have let slip under the radar too many times. Watch out for them, one of them is probably a maple. -

I might, I'm still deciding who is the best candidate. It is tempting as it would put a bit of pressure off of myself, but I would rather help find a maple than to save my own skin. -

Well, seeing as all of the evidence is out. All I can say is: I do not approve of Hazel bandwagoning. If you think I am maple, so be it. I will answer any questions you have. -

That is a good point. And I can see how it seems maple-y. I took Hazels response to mean that her intreenet has been, and still is, out. Looking back now, I think she meant that it was working again. -

I can't tell if you just forget what I post, or if you don't pay attention to anything I say. My vote was a poke to get Hazel to explain why she was so silent. I got the explanation, and in the process I also got screwed because I didn't think much of her nooby. young-ish way of saying she was going to bandwagon. -

Just out of curiosity, even though I am not okay with Hazel voting for a random player, how did this become an issue of my loyalty? I had a slip of the tongue, and now everyone thinks that I want Hazel to vote for a random player. I have said multiple times that I don't. I honestly can't comprehend why everyone is thinking I'm maple for my comments on someone else's actions. Yes it is bad that she is doing something so dumb. But it's not enough to warrant me vote. -

Acting like a noob sapling is what Hazel does. It does bother me that she will end up bandwagoning, but it's not enough evidence for me to keep my vote on her. I was throwing a poke at her to get an explanation for her lack of talking, and I got that, so I'm happy. -

As you wish. If this isn't a good enough reason why she hasn't talked, I don't know what is. Gosh, maybe I should be more specific with my posts. I'm satisfied with her explanation of why she hasn't been active. I don't like the fact that she will throw a random vote out there, but how can she help it if she doesn't know what is going on? -

I'm satisfied with Hazel's explanation, not her just talking. How can you not know that? You are really anxious to get someone other than yourself lynched. -

No, but honestly, what else can she do? If what she says is true, she has no clue what is going on, or who would be a good vote. I'm pretty sure she will just end up badwagoning at the end of the day. -

*Busts his nuts (the tree kind) laughing* So you are really going to vote for me because I did the same thing that 90% of the other trees did? This entire day has been nothing but fluff, and 2/3 our your own posts have been fluff. The other 1/3 has been voting for me. I won't bother to defend myself further, seeing as this is total bull-fertilizer.
