I didn't mean to actually kill him" You (after about 2 hours I might add. You probably talked with your scum buddies and they told you what to say) - "I'm actually not scum, but you are!" This is the entire conversation, and if you want to deny it, then go ahead. Town, if you don't believe me, I sent PMs to Dark Dragon, Zepher, Mencot, and Dave telling them about my plan. They can confirm this. I wasn't planning to reveal this so early, but Lind got wise and I wasn't able to get any more info from him.

If it makes anyone feel any better, I was going to investigate MT, but Dragonfire sent me a PM with suggested investigation targets. That really pinged me, so I decided to investigate him instead. Either way, the role would have been wasted.

Wait, I just saw that MT died too, and he was SCUM! If there were 3 kills, it means that Lind didn't kill Dave. It means that Lind didn't WANT to kill Dave. It means that Lind and Dave are scum buddies! One of them MUST be scum. Lind agreed that Dave was the best target for the vig kill, then he killed someone else? I am going to eat some toasted scum today!

That shouldn't matter, Lind was supposed to steal your hat, not redirect it. He would have had to have been blocked in order to prevent a vig kill.

Blackbeard's Shag It's sad, but I investigated Dragonfire last night. He was indeed town. I do think I have caught some scum though. I was talking with Lind Whisperer last night, and he was supposed to kill Dave by stealing the vig hat. Somehow, the scum must have found out about it, and Dave was protected or Lind was blocked. That, or Lind never intended to Kill his scum buddy. Dave, and possibly Lind, are scum. I really think it's probably Dave, I would have investigated him last night but I thought he would be dead today. I also know who had the doctor, so if Dave turns out to be scum, we have caught another scummo as well.

I think it is stupid to lynch Walter based solely on his lack of posts. I'm going to Vote: Mostlytechnic(Mostlytechnic) here is why: He doesn't seem that concerned about losing the vig, which is our only way to kill during the night. Also, he was a very strong advocate for Shadows' lynch yesterday, possibly protecting a scum buddy? When voting opened today, he assumed that I would start railing against Dave and start a bandwagon, thus his immediate vote for Dave. I wouldn't be surprised if he changes to Walter in a few minutes. He says that Dave and I could both be scum, yet he persists on attacking mainly Dave instead of me, I'm assuming because Dave is an easier target. Earlier today, he brought up a fairly complicated plan to why I might be scum, but he never pursued it until he needed to defend himself. Then he says that "he started the scumhunt" against me. All I saw was him making a plausible theory as to how I could be scum, then letting it drop faster than a stalled brick. I don't think MT is the best scum candidate for today, but Dave has the vig, so we need to save him for tomorrow.

I'm not entirely convinced that a Walter lynch is the best plan, I wouldn't be surprised of he just stinks at poetry. I am convinced that scum wouldn't make 0 posts, they want to avoid vote penalties as much as possible.

I have a theory on Walter: Remember how I came up with all of this great evidence for his lynch on day one? Apparently, he got scared by it and decided that it was safer to stop talking. He might be the SK? It could also be that he is away from his computer.

It is weird that JJP hasn't said anything, especially considering he's dead. I don't know about Walter though.

Zepher just sent me a PM. He told me what the costume role is, and I agree that we should try to keep it. The whole PM had a really strong townie feel to it. He definitely wasn't afraid to be investigated, he seemed less concerned about dying than he was about keeping the item. I don't mind lynching him tomorrow if we have a better candidate for today, but who would that be? I would certainly rather lose Zepher's costume than Dave's. MT is the only other person who I would feel good about lynching today. I feel it is likely that Zepher got thrown under the bus, cause we really have no evidence against him other than Tammo's actions. Unvote: Zepher(Zepher) I think MT would be a good lynch for today, then we can focus on Zepher tomorrow when he doesn't have a good item.

I will not be mad at you if you vote for me Dave. In fact, I WANT you to. Then when you flip scum, I will be even more of a confirmed townie.

Vote: Zepher(Zepher) I really like Dragonfire's theory on him. Since Dave has the vig, we should save him for tomorrow. MT is scummy, but as I said, he is less scummy than Zepher or Dave.

Zepher and Dave seem a bit more scummy than MT, but someone will probably say we are scum buddies... A Dave lynch would be the best option if it weren't for him greedily snatching the vig hat. Tammo claimed to have tried to kill him on night one, but Tammo had also said that he had a town read on him? Seems dumb that he would try to kill someone he thought was town. Unless he actually didn't try to kill him, maybe Tammo just said he did so that he could separate themselves in main thread. I really like this theory. I want to hear more evidence on MT before I vote.

Well Bob, there are a few problems with your theory: Dave said that he "championed" the lynch against Tammo, it wasn't me who said that. The statement is true though. This is 100% false. My vote was on Lind for the remainder of the day. So if I truly was trying to pull the "I told you so" thing, I did it very poorly. After I unvoted him, I didn't rejoin the bandwagon on Tammo. I lost a lot of my faith that he was scum after I thought about the situation overnight. I started the bandwagon, but I didn't finish it. If I was scum, I never would have given the result out in the first place, and even if I did (maybe I was trying to make myself look good in the town's eyes), I wouldn't have discontinued my pursuit of Tammo's lynch after I had started it. I admit it, I had my doubts of Tammo's scummi-ness at the end of the day. You do have some good logic though Bob. I can't debunk all of it. Just the untrue parts.

I looked at the times between when I sent the second PM and when you took the vig hat, I sent the PM 14 minutes before you took it. I will answer for him. Just so that you know that my motives are pure: I sent Dave two PMs. The first one said something like "I think you would be a good vig for today". Then I sent another PM saying "But don't grab it yet, wait for a mutual decision to be reached." Apparently, he only chose to read the first one. But even so, he shouldn't have grabbed it. I never told him to grab it, I just said I think he would be a good vig for today.

Hmm, I just looked back in my PM history with Dave, and he did say he would try to lure some scum out by accusing me. But I didn't attack you because of your accusations... I chose to attack you because I think you are scum. How do you keep forgetting about my PM where I said "Don't take the vig yet, wait for the town to come to a mutual decision" (paraphrased)? You seem to only talk about the one where I said "I think you should have the vig". Since when do I alone determine who get's the vig hat?

What's changed? The vig wasn't being held be a scummo yesterday, It is today. I've thought long and hard about this: The vig is the only way for the town to get night kills, but I don't think we will have any chance at all of getting a good night kill if it is being used by the scum. Dave will "accidentally" kill another townie tonight if we don't lynch him. That it why it is so imperative that a confirmed townie get's the thief. The problem is that the only person who can confirm a townie is Dave. I think a good plan is to let Dave live for today, maybe lynch Zepher, and then lynch Dave tomorrow when he doesn't have the vig.
