  1. Fantastic. Love the grilled roof and snot facade. Congrats.
  2. Is it the same red as the FB? Looks brighter to me.
  3. 380€ on spanish S@H. Oh dear... Almost 400€ it's too much for a detailed interior. Damn!
  4. Looking good so far, LegoSjaak. I still think that central piece of water needs to be bigger, specially since you're going to put a statue in it, wich I like. I also think that tiling should be in a different colour from the ground, to give it some acent to it. Maybe some kind of grey? Good job, anyway!
  5. You're welcome. Yeah, I know, it can desperating sometimes... You got the info here: http://brickset.com/article/17117/free-christmas-train-at-shop-lego-com
  6. In Spain is different. PR and DO are 159€ while BB is priced at 149€.
  7. Holiday train will be available from 22th October in Europe.
  8. If you continue to double the size of modulars, you're gonna soon need a bigger house, man! The water fountain/ornament looks promising. Right now, your square is too big for the amount of ornament you have (I know it's a work in progress). Some little buildings (kiosk, etc) would fit well. And of course, a water ornament will be fine. In fact, I would do it wider (at least the central piece) than the the one in your blueprint. Some statues would be useful, too. Here are some pictures of Plaza de Oriente, de Madrid. Maybe you could do some statues in a row on both sides of the square, and, in the middle of the fountain, a big one with a horse. Just an idea. :)
  9. I agree. Well, as you know, you can't argue about tastes. But it's simple: don't like it, don't buy it. Or buy it and modify it yourself. My first impression (with the leaked oversaturated / tan walls picture) was very negative, looked like a bad MOC to me. But when I saw the official pics, I found the building very nice. As I said in an earlier post, I don't think it's groundbreaking, but looks good to me. Enough to buy it.
  10. Yep, I think that will be the best route. :)
  11. I think I'll go with the first of your versions, two windows on each side of the central section. Three of them seems so repetitive to me, although, of course, such buildings do exist. But I think two windows is enough.
  12. What a beast, dude!I think that's too much, but your previous versions with double width looks right.
  13. No, it's white, not tan. The confusion comes from a bad lightning or wrong colour process in some of the renders.
  14. A combination of both versions will result into a mamooth! :)
  15. For those of you who think it's tiny, this is how it would look with an extra floor (and extra cash):
  16. Yeah, you edited it while I was publishing the picture. :)But you're right, it could have worked really well on the facade, given the architectural style.
  17. Are you quite sure?
  18. Oh, OK, you're right. Very common colour on Art Deco, indeed.
  19. Watching it closely, I think that the black Elves fence doesn't work at all. It seems so out of place, both colour and design. I like this better, much cleaner:
  20. Art Deco? Looks more like neoclassical style to me. The only little touches of Art Deco are the bottom floor stain glasses and the elves fences on the bacony. But the architecture looks pretty neoclassical.
  21. Of course, but that makes only four. A new one would give us at least 8 options. But the important thing it's not the time really, but the design. Or, at least, a colour change. This would have look better in black with gold printing, for example.
  22. BTW, I think it's about time that TLG comes with a new clock design. There're countless examples of the same clock (and time) over and over and over...
  23. Well, that's more like it. It's a beautiful set.
  24. Indeed, I did it and it looks much better. I think the best part is the bottom floor. Not sure about the apartment's colour above the apartment, too many colours on second floor, IMO (green, red, brown, tan, etc) . Let's wait for some more and better pics.
