It will be interesting to see if this new release schedule for Episode VIII will massively shake up what Lego was already planning to do for 2017. Hopefully it won't cause a massive gap in between waves like what happened when they moved the Hobbit: BotFA from a summer release to a Christmas release. I don't expect any more than 4 sets for Rogue One, mainly due to the way Lego has treated the spin-off Marvel films. I also don't look for it to be an ever green property like the PT, OT, and ST. I think it will be more like the Clone Wars; when the hype dies down we will stop seeing Lego sets for it. I also predict we will see the same fate for Rebels.

I think the OT, PT, and ST will always be evergreen properties for Lucasfilm (who I believe along with Lego are still the ones calling the shots with the sets). I'll also throw this out there; I don't thing it's completely out of the realm of possibility that these two "unknown" sets could be based on a Lego in-house project but are also using the characters from Aftermath to tell their own story.

Lego has never made any sets (Star Wars or other wise) based exclusively on a book. I would be shocked if Lego based these sets on Aftermath especially since we have no word on any other merchandise based on the book. And from what little I've heard, Aftermath is not necessarily a book for children either. Chances are these are based on a Lego in-house project like TYC or perhaps things we have yet to see in Rebels.

I will be more apt to buy this than I am Poe's X-Wing. Just wish Pav and Asty were in it. Then again, having Lor San Teka is pretty cool. Detonate buy for me!

Thanks guys. Hopefully tomorrow I can post a pic of it in a brighter setting. I really wanted to add more detail to the face like the eye but if I made the head any wider or taller I felt it would just look to big. And I do hope to display this MOC along with the Takodana set as soon as I can get it.

This year we started seeing the Disney logo on the Star Wars Lego sets, but yet we have been told that the Disney logo will not appear along with the opening logos in TFA. Also, the Lego Marvel sets (a franchise owned by Disney) never have the Disney logo on them. So why do you guys think this is?

Upon inspection, you have to sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime to place a Lego order. The discount is pretty decent. Anyone know how to cancel the free trial if you don't want it? I was planning to make a Lego order on Amazon this week and if I can get the discount on the set and cancel the trial after my order comes in that would be pretty cool. Anyone know how that stuff works?

I'm also a bit excited we are getting a castle like building for the Battle of Takodanda (probably misspelled that). I love it any time we get a more architectural set in the Star Wars set.

I haven't bought a Micro Fighter yet, but that Resistance pilot with the blue markings in the X-Wing one is really tempting.
