And anyway, Hero Factory's robots are done poorly. Wall-E had emotion, and we felt for him through the writing and scenes. Hero Factory is just robots shooting, and without a story, there is no emotion.- 16,226 replies

1) Wall-E was pretty emotional, okay. 2) Nope. 3) Nope. 4) Nope. 5)I feel nothing for Optimus, or any Transformer. 6) What is your point here? Mata Nui I love, and I think he is epic. But I don't feel for him. When he was cast out of his body, I wasn't sad. And for that matter, I don't really consider any of the Bionicle to be robots, except for the clearly-stated ones, like Maxilos or Mata Nui. All of the others are Biomechanical, not Bionic. I wasn't happy when Mata Nui arose because I thought, "Oh, he's alive again. yay!!" I was happy because the Matoran were safe, and had their guardian back.- 16,226 replies

^Possible, but unlikely. The New Yoda Chronicles is Imperial Era, so "Anakin" still makes no sense. -

I have 0 clue as to what the Custom Starfighter will be. It can't be the Microseries one; that series is defunct now, de-canonized and forgotten over a decade. It can't be a Rebel's thing, because it says"Anakin", not Darth Vader. If it is the Microseries, maybe they will do more from that series, or a line of defunct stories. I have no clue.....Maybe they made a mistake on the name? -

Not nostalgia. In fact, I was not even that into Bionicle as a kid. My appreciation for the series, and most of my collection, came about in around 2010. So don't think it's because I say, "Oh, my childhood=Bionicle." I have grown to appreciate the complexity of the story and the characters, and it has nothing to do with fond nostalgia.- 16,226 replies

This could be a good idea. I also like the idea of three sides: Toa and the Skull Spiders in a race to find the masks for their own purposes, and Defenders, to guard the masks. But then, what mask? The central one in the picture, or each individual Toa's golden mask? From the boxes, each Toa has a golden version of their own mask. So, each Toa can go into their own elemental setting to find their own golden masks, which are guarded by the Defenders, in order to wipe out the skull spiders. My idea is that this golden armor gives them more power, and if they all wear their golden masks, that is the only way to stop the hordes.- 16,226 replies

No Gungans interest me. I was hoping for the AAT to be based more on the seen in Theed, not in the plains. We could've gotten some handmaidens.... -

Well, Hero Factory is dead, so time to rap up their story. They need to kill ALL the monsters now, with and army of like a bazillion robots, with lasers that go "pew pew pew"! And then, like, a really big explosion!! Hero Factory was junk. You can't feel for any of the characters, considering that they are all robots. When Jaller died in Mask of Life, or when Lhikan died in LOMN, it was kind of sad. Now, a robot gets his head cut off, and they just reattach it. Oh, and also, I remember buying Tuma, how excited I was, and I remember the EXACT moment that my heart sank: the moment the sticker sheet fell out. The coolest thing about this guy was his mask, and it used stickers!! And they were so oddly shaped, and had to be placed on the thinnest pieces, that I just gave up. So these new Bionicles better not use stickers, or I'll cry.- 16,226 replies

Well, I agree with that. Star Wars is not Star Wars without TPM, or AOTC. The OT is pretty close to perfect, and contrary to what others say, I think that the old effects still stood the test of time, as did the writing. But the OT has better writing, albeit less plot, and better characters, effects, and scenes. But hey, this isn't the topic page for OT vs PT, so let's get back on the topic at hand: Do we think that the minifig in the Micro-RGS will be a pilot, but with a new-molded helmet. They should make it a lot more accurate, and this seems like a great opportunity. -

Various insiders/spies/sources also said that the Inquisitor would be the main villain in VII, and that the title will be The Ancient Fear. I don't believe anything from "a trustworthy source"; I don't even believe the new Stormtrooper helmets. -

Well, Tatooine will be developed in VII. We saw leaked images of different sets way out in the desert. Gee, I have no idea what that could be....so if Tatooine is getting screen time, Tuskens definitely will. Whether or not they show their faces is still a mystery, but I am betting on them and Jawas having their faces revealed. And yeah, I'd love a Bantha too. Maybe utilizing the mini ball joints.... -

It was the essence of Bionicle. This was a toy line that broke away from others, which used guns and lasers and spaceships. What we got was a race of primitive, alien beings, and it was great. Also, that is one problem that I agree with, in terms of a reboot: we know all of the important things. We know that they were inside a robot, that the Matoran lived inside of Mata Nui to keep him running. The original feel can never be preserved, knowing that that is what happens. Really, I'm torn. Continuation would seem pretty lame, and would just feel like them trying to stretch out the story. But a reboot could only work if it is very different: new characters, new storyline, new motifs. And if any of those are changed, then it is not Bionicle. By the way, I am furious, because in early June, I sold my entire Bionicle collection, of around 45 guys, for only $70. All of my Rahkshi, my Lhikan, my Hordika, all gone! In all fairness, 12 of them were Glatorian, but still. And then, one month after I sold them, I read about its likely return. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!- 16,226 replies

I would love for a reboot, because the start of Bionicle, as I said before, felt primitive, tribal in a way. Out in nature, no real cities, just forts and huts, with magical guardians to ward off evil spirits. Not people shooting monsters.- 16,226 replies

The Tusken had better have a separate head-attachment, like a helmet. I do not want a printed face, I want a mask piece. Ooh, and a type of cape/robe! They could make it so great by doing those two things. But then, if it is a seperate helmet, would they include a face underneath? And on that topic, will Episode VII reveal their faces? Could this be in preperation for the movies? TOO MUCH THINKING AND SPECULATION!!! -

Oh, sorry Jakura Nuva. I thought it was a sarcastic question. But yeah, these new sets could be Jurassic World. But still....something in my gut is telling me, no matter how much I try to disprove the Bionicle theory, it will be Bionicle.- 16,226 replies

Bionicle TV series? Count. Me. IN!! After I learned that Star Wars: Rebels is a huge disappointment, I could use a good show. And really, you can't ruin Bionicle. You can throw in all the slapstick humor you want, all the lame references you want. Nothing can ruin Bionicle, except for the Piraka and the Barraki.- 16,226 replies

NOOOO!! We all haven't agreed on a reboot!! A time skip would feel to strange. I get that the Bionicle characters live for thousands of years, but come on. This needs to be restarted, so that Lego can learn from the mistakes of the original story. Not just say, "Oh, it all happened, but it doesn't matter. Just forget it." THAT"S BASICALLY THE SAME THING AS A REBOOT!!!!- 16,226 replies

Sorry, Brickdoctor. I forgot....It's just that, with so little news flowing in, this topic is starting to go dead. But, back on topic: Who else is hoping for a new Amidala's Starship? I mean, next year is the decade-anniversary of ROTS, so they should do something special like that. ROTS Padme, anyone? -

I don't mean that they may not be used; I am saying that they need to be stressed in the new Bionicle. Towards the end of the last story, the Three Virtues, and the elements, all but disappeared, and were only hinted at. For major motifs of the storyline, they were strangely pushed aside. Oh, and by the way, I hope that the special armor on all of the Toa is gold, not yellow. Because yellow on Kopaka, Toa of Ice? Ewwww.....But anyway, the yellow just stands out way too much.- 16,226 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Well, I love ROTS; it is my favorite next to The Empire Strikes Back. But AOTC has way too much CGI, and Menace is just a disgrace to cinema. I too am a prequel baby, but at a certain point, the only thing that makes me want to watch AOTC is nostalgia. I don't just mindlessly rip on them, just like "Oh, I hate Jar Jar." I do, but my hatred for the prequels lies in the fact that they ruined the legacy of Star Wars with lame references, overuse of CGI, and a plot that had to be stretched way too much to last over three movies. -

I would love it if the new Bionicle would at least start out as I want: no silver, no jetpacks, no guns, just elemental colors and power. I may be okay with the technology later on, like the original series, but it needs to be handled better, with some type of explanation. I mean, the Toa Mata were fairly primitive warriors, and then years later, on Voya Nui, they have machine guns. Something needs to be explained here....- 16,226 replies

That was my point: PT was terrible, OT was incredible, so these movies will decide if Star Wars will be remembered fondly, or known as a mess. Horribly written, or well crafted. These next 3 could become the next classics, or can be lost into oblivion. -

Unity doesn't mean do everything together, it means work as a team to accomplish a task. I don't want my Kopaka to have heat armor, to allow him resistance to heat, or for Onua to have a jetpack; if this happens, then everything that made them unique is taken away. Lewa: "Oh look, I can fly to the top of that mountain and create an avalanche with the wind to crush the Bohrok below!!" Tahu: "We all can." No. Unity is teamwork, not being able to do the exact same things.- 16,226 replies
