  1. Wait a second: LOOK AT THE EYES!!!! The eyes look different from the current ones. If you compare, this has narrower, more vertical eyes. Maybe I'm wrong, but it would be pretty sick to have different heads for the villains.
  2. ^Yeah, but if Lando is released as a Rebels character, that means no cape, no blue shirt......Yep, I could see LEGO doing that to us.
  3. Anyway, the episode was actually pretty...fun. Story-wise, we got nowhere. But the animation was great, we got to see POF in action, and I laughed for a very long time when Tahu lifted POF over the ledge.....He's just so adorable!! Also, I know a few of you already said it, but......I (also) can....Feel...The.....POOOWAA!!!!!!! If that doesn't become the next BIONICLE joke, then I don't know what will!
  4. Okay, here's my response (apparently, no one read my previous post):
  5. Ugh....we'll probably get Willrow before we get Beru.
  6. The Great Beings were definitely.....insane. We'll just leave it at that. And don't worry about the episodes being pretty mindless right now; LEGO has a reason to this: they still need to introduce a WHOLE NEW GENERATION OF FANS. Think: when we first discovered BIONICLE, the story was fairly limited (especially in the first few months). They were just trying to introduce us to the characters, and just get our feet wet. And I just now realized that this is the FIRST official month of Gen 2. Kids are just learning about it now, going on BIONICLE.com for the first time ever, and LEGO has to get the ball rolling from here. So really, nobody panic. This is the first month of BIONICLE, and we still have some time before LEGO feels more comfortable to up the complexity.
  7. I agree. The mold would be useless on anything but that one character, he looks lame, and oh yeah: it's BOSS NASS. That's like saying "Man, I can't wait to get a Meebur Gascon minifig!" I'm still holding out hope that one of the summer sets will be Boga related. Boga, Commander Cody, maybe a new Grievous.....
  8. Hmm....I actually quite like that. Maybe it's correct; we've barely seen anything of Okoto after the coming of the Skull Spiders, so maybe they did ravage the cities? Also, I find it quite odd that the skull spiders are, like, 100% robotic.....I thought they were 100% organic, actually, like Krana. Also, does anyone know when The Protectors Fight Back will be available? I really hope that it's a longer episode, and we get to see the full power of the skull spiders!! (Like, do they take control of the victims mind, or rip off their face?)
  9. Okay, why is there a HUMAN STATUE IN GALI'S PICTURE?!?! WHAT?! Either this is concept art, or they are on Earth, or--worst of all--the Toa are HUMANS?!?!?!
  10. ^Yeah, and it's the same with the AT-TE: although there was really no interior, it still LOOKED great. Design is going up, even if size is decreasing. And BTW, like I said, the SAIL barge was not a bad set, per se......it was just disappointing, since the whole purpose of the set IS to put minifigs in it and on top of the deck. It looked nice, but since the whole purpose of the set was shot with a tiny interior......
  11. I think people are exaggerating the whole decrease in quality. Are some sets terrible? Yes. But do those terrible sets have great qualities too? Yes. Take Jabba's Fail Barge for instance: I (obviously) hate the set as much as the rest of us do. But in all honesty, the set LOOKS like the barge. It's smooth, it's sleek, it has appropriate proportions to the rest of the ship. Same with the AT-TE, Star Destroyer, Ghost, Sandcrawler, AT-AT......all of the sets we say are terrible, are actually just undersized. They're not blocky, fragile messes with bad proportions and inaccurate designs.....just small. And it makes it better for people to afford. You want a to-scale version of the Star Destroyer? Get ready to whip out $5000. I like that LEGO makes things affordable yet detailed. BTW, someone said a few pages back that DISNEY is ruining the quality of LEGO Star Wars sets. I must say, that is one of the most ridiculous conclusions I have ever heard.
  12. Man, I always get those two mixed up. Same mask, same build....just different color. Well, Onepu was cool to.
  13. I don't get why people desire the Death Star SO MUCH. All it is, really, is undersized scenes and a bunch of minifigs. None of the scenes have detail; the limited size means you can't really MOD it.......The only thing it's good for is using the pieces to make better scenes. And yeah, if I had to bet, the set would include: Vader (new helmet), Palpatine (hopefully w/ a better cape), Luke (Ewok Village version) and two Royal Guards (hopefully w/ a better cape).
  14. As much as I'd love that, it'll probably be ROTJ based. But I just can't see this set being good: Palpatine's Arrest price (and most likely piece count, too), three minifigs, and then really, what could the set be? A chair, a window, and a platform? That is exactly what Palpatine's Arrest was, and that set was terrible. Maybe we'll get lucky, and LEGO will throw in Sabine's helmet, Beru, pregnant Padme, Galen Marrek, and Durge. Then that set is on my must-buy list.
  15. I've tried to give the Protectors the Toa masks (to make Jala and the rest), but the masks seem much too big. So actually, recolored Toa masks wouldn't work for Protectors....But I definitely like the idea of recolored Protector masks! It's such a sweet mold, and getting them in yellow, turquoise, orange, purple would be great! Which reminds me: remember this image? If you look closely, POE has a PURPLE MASK!!!! That would've been absolutely wonderful.....I really want to make Nuparu. Yeah, you know what? Scrap my other idea; I just want solid colored protector masks, in every color imaginable (and a rainbow one for good measure )
  16. What do we think the chances are of us ever getting recolored Toa Masks? If LEGO announced that they would be selling mask packs next year, I'd flip....In fact, that's a great idea. They could be in blind bags (like the Collectible Minifig line), and have all different colors of the Toa Masks!!!! I would buy so many! Hear that LEGO? You have a customer willing to throw his money at you.....and I'm sure there are many more who would too. *Nudge Nudge*
  17. I was thinking to move the TIE up to the £60 mark, and then the X-Wing up to the £70 mark. Whatever playset or ship they have could fit in the £40 mark. Simple fix.
  18. ^He really said that about the leaks? Well, either he's being 100% honest, or it's 100% a cover-up. Only time will tell, I guess.....But it would make sense to make fake leaks to throw people off of their track.
  19. I hope so....By the end of Gen 1, we had the Mata, Tohunga, Metru, Inika, Piraka, Glatorian, and Av-Matoran head. And really, half of those masks weren't even compatible with the others. Anyway, I quite like the current heads: robotic, yet slightly organic...... BTW, does BIONICLE still stand for BIOlogical chroniCLE? And are the characters still bio-mechanical, or are they robots now? These are actually legitimate questions. (Like, what if it now stands for BIOnic with just the -LE suffix?)
  20. ....*Spoiler Alert* Anyway, I'd be careful about what you believe. I mean, a lot of the information is easily faked, and no one has any actual evidence (pictures, videos, etc); the photos we do have look like they could be some random fan art. Keep in mind that this movie was announced 3 years ago: in that time, someone could easily have painted a red TIE, or some robotic Sith or whatever, and just taken a grainy image of it. Honestly, I think that most of the leaks are fake. For all I know, some are true. But some of them are just utterly ridiculous. And Disney (and JJ) have this under tight wraps. Like, this movie is more tightly guarded than any other movie right now.
  21. See? Prices match up fairly well, and that's just stuff we saw in the trailer. And then two mystery sets, but I doubt they would reveal anything massively important to the plot......And if they do, I might cry. The day I go to see the movie, I'll check this site and see "New Set Revealed: 75103 Max von Sydow Reveals Himself as the Big Bad and then Kills Luke Skywalker During the Duel on the Death Star III Right Before It Destroys Coruscant".
  22. Well, the set from 2011 was not that good....It was the first large set I got, and the first purchase I was disappointed in. I mean, all Technic sticking out the bottom, weird proportions, flimsy flaps.....There is no where to go but up. LEGO could make an underside, give it better proportions, and make it more.....good.....And I'll buy the set. It's the same reason I want them to make a new Sith Infiltrator.
  23. It is a great set! But anyway, I agree 100%: I'm in the camp of "I want no spoilers", so I just don't click on the Yahoo article that says "MAJOR TFA LEAKS!!!!" People click on it, and then get angry.....
  24. I got them on December 26 (Both of them) and while Kopaka's lock together securely, Tahu's barely even hold. And Tahu's mask is very loose too.... Also, was that guy a few pages back making up the rumors? Because he hasn't said anything else.......
  25. I doubt we're getting a set titled something, like "All the Main Characters Die!". We'll likely get a Millennium Falcon, a TIE, Rey's speeder, the ship the Stormtroopers are in, an X-Wing.....and that only leaves 2 more TFA sets. I mean, LEGO did good keeping it spoiler free for ROTS. We got sets like "Clone Scout Walker", not "Clone Scout Walker that Blows Up Jedi Because Order 66 Was Enacted by Palpatine When He Turned Anakin to the Dark Side After Throwing Samuel L. Jackson Out A window....Also, Padme Dies". LEGO knows what they're doing. Disney knows what they're doing.
