LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I don’t think it’s too good. Admittedly, it’s exceptional. I wonder what the set will actually be because I was certain we’d have a Police Gunship and the Noti pod. -

Well it’s expensive, and has more figures than normal so I’m almost certain they pair. -

Maybe. I think they probably couldn’t do anything less with Chewy. -

75393. 1058 pieces. Bigger models? 2 additional figures give us hope! Perfect chance for a Rebel Honour Guard to go with Yavin. JUST A WISH. -

You will be able to join the X-Wing and Tie to create one model. I wish I was joking. Childishlandino reports. -

I will maintain that I don’t think an MTT is likely. I truly believe if we see one it will be blue. Watto mould retired? I’m super intrigued, how do you know? But yes, on reflection, he shouldn’t be there. Are these predictions or wishlists? Seems the latter;) I genuinely love this list, and for loads of reasons too! I would love a Wolfpack Troopers Battle Pack and then Plo Koon’s Starfighter with hyperdrive and including Wolffe. We cannot have the captain in a battle pack…I won’t let it! I also think a Wolfpack ARF Trooper would be cool!! Even if the cannon version seems to be similar to the 2012 battle pack version. Lego can be creative here, I’ll let them. The anniversary figures are super interesting and far more interesting than the likes of Young Leia (although if she comes with her droid that would help, but doubtful). Rebel’s anniversary makes loads of sense to be fair, I just think they’d chose a different character whether I agree with it or not. Someone like Ryder Azadi or Rebel Kallus. Your Starkiller idea is genius, though. Love it!! That 4+ Gunship is a genius idea. Doubt we would get that many figures, but it would be such a good cash grab. The problem is I don’t know whether the young children love Clones as much as the teens and adults of today. Admittedly, the 4+ sets they’ve produced in the past have made little sense if that theory was correct. It’s only been the last 2 YJA that have made sense for the demographic. Love your three larger sets in this wave. Perfect balance. I’d love the Falcon to be ESB, though. Baffled how the Mantis hasn’t been done. They’ve missed a trick, there. -
Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

I feel like Quidditch is needed. A larger set has never been done and would feel really refreshing. The tricky part would be what film to base it on. I am also really excited for the summer wave. New Hogwarts expansions and the especially the Diagon Alley series are incredibly exciting. Admittedly, they need some real bangers this summer. I do like the vibe of this winter but most of the sets feel a bit fringe…which is good but not all year round. -

My view is that both these arguments sit at the opposite ends of the spectrum when in reality it’s something in-between. -

Incorrect Ahsoka shuttle colour and woefully small, wrong Huyang colour, incorrect Jacen hairpiece, wrong lightsaber colours, double pack that makes no sense (admittedly still a good set but Baylan’s shuttle would have been better). But, I repeat, my perfectionism at play here. -

Can’t get excited for new shows and films in relation to Lego. Maybe I have unhealthy and unhelpful perfectionism but I find the Ahsoka sets to be really lacking because of hiding spoilers etc. -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

Here’s my wishlist and predictions for the remaining TPM sets for 2024. Obviously, they account for what we know is coming out in the first half. Second, this post assumes there will be more sets in 2024 because it’s not a given. Finally, there might be overlap between what I want and what I predict. Wishlist: Otoh Gunga (plasma bubble, walkway, Gungan council) 39.99: Boss Nass, Jar Jar Binks, Captain Tarpals, Qui-Gon-Jinn (breathing apparatus), Obi-Wan Kenobi (breathing apparatus Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator (new, modern smaller scale aligned with the Slave One, X-Wing etc) £59.99: Darth Maul, Qui-Gon-Jinn, Watto, Padme Naboo Starfighter vs Vulture Droid £64.99: Naboo Pilot, R2-C4, Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, Naboo Engineer, Security Battle Droid (x2) Naboo Royal Starship £139.99: Ric Olie, Captain Paneka, Queen Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, R2-D2, R2-R9, Qui-Gon-Jinn, Darth Maul GWP Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship (similar to Death Star GWP 2023) - Nute Gunray Predictions: Naboo Starfighter (new modern smaller scale as per above) £44.99 Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, Theed Padme Amidala, Security Battle Droid (x2) Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator (new, modern scale aligned with the Slave One, X-Wing etc) £59.99: Darth Maul, Qui-Gon-Jinn GWP Mid-scale MTT (alike Death Star GWP 2023) - Nute Gunray -

Yes, I think we have to have system scale. Would make this celebration really great. Definitely excited to pick them up all at once and feast on everything TPM from the movie to documentaries etc. Fingers crossed it feels representative! I actually don’t know regarding Maul. I assume and assumed it was a figure. Lot of people are having Sith Infiltrators in the background of their videos so could be hinting at that set…? -

Happy that the brickheadz multi-pack is TPM. Hopefully there’s some great choices. Maul, Qui-Gon, Jar Jar makes the most sense, so I’ll PREDICT those. The fourth is a bit trickier. Would love it to be Queen Amidala! Droideka, Boonta Eve Podrace Diorama, Brickheadz pack, and polybag AAT is a decent start. I am really hoping for 2/3 more larger sets. I’ll save my thoughts for the future set ideas. -

Childish Landino Chronicles has posted a 25th Lego Star Wars anniversary logo Leaks (not TPM). Has a teal glow and shows an R2 silhouette. Looks like the special box art maybe…I like it! Bring it on. -

I miss this too. But they are a thing of the past, a time when Star Wars content was very limited and when the Prequels were to be released in 3D. However, I am very intrigued to see how comprehensive Lego celebrates TPM this year (crikey, it’s 2024) because it will give an even better indicates for AOTC and ROTS. Last year with TCW was fairly good in terms of representation. I’d expect 2 TPM sets for the second half of 2024. You should definitely do it for the others, your ideas are solid. -

Lifebricks recently did an insta post expressing his love for the Scimitar. At the time I thought it was odd, and thought it might be something more than that. Whilst he can be full of nonsense, he does have info drip fed to him. Wouldn’t be surprised if this was a summer set. -

Fair. Didn’t the TCW anniversary get more sets though than what’s rumoured for TPM anniversary in 2024? (Trying to bait into any news of further TPM sets for summer 2024, whoops…) -

Lego will always favour Clone Wars over TPM, though. Not sure a brown vehicle is exciting plus a blue colour scheme continues the continuity they’ve just established. Honestly! It’s so uninspiring. But it’s unfortunately a consequence of more 18+ sets which I was originally all for… I don’t even get who the target audience is for the Gunship. It’s just bland. -

Although the topic is veering slightly to the off, my point regarding the MTT was less about an MTT being re-released in 2024, but for whenever LEGO decide to release one which I think is soon. A lot of the discussion seemed to assume if an MTT was to be released it HAS to be next year for TPM wave. I don’t think this is the case. Yes, but Lego is seemingly moving towards the blue colour scheme for their droid sets. If your point was entirely correct in this context, we’d have never seen a blue STAP released in the battle pack just. Nobody is saying Lego should release a blue MTT for the 25th anniversary of TPM. Sadly we live in a time where Lego is obsessed with downscaled, less complete sets. I’d have zero faith in them producing sets of this calibre you mention at a similar price point. The Coruscant Guard Gunship was the final nail in the coffin for my hope. -

Lego right now tends to re-release sets with a twist. The AT-TE was Utapau-based whilst the Gunship was a variant we’ve never had before. I really think we are more likely to see a blue MTT based on TCW, instead. -

Are these figures from a red resistance bomber? That’s my only worry is we never actually see who is on that variant, which for my list I did a few months back put me off. Again all those quotes for the sequels are what I love! Great job! did you use my list in any way to determine what you liked and disliked etc?
