  1. Actually, it seems that lot of people have built the fsb001 ! Also, for people who are unaware of the existence of this model, here is bobcat review, quite interesting ! Review of an all wheel steer loader
  2. Yes but it has absolutly no interest in term of playability and global model conception.
  3. Yes, remote control model would be greater but it's impossible due to space problem. Actually, there are so many gears in it that you can not add an Ir and a battery box without destroying model look. Also, control pneumatic with auto-valve take a lot of space. It was the first model I build with an external remote and honnestly, I don't find it limits freedom of the model since you are used to play with it. The thing which is more annoying is that I don't have long enough hoses, so I'm obliged to play with it on a table ( I can not stay up and play with the model on the floor). :) All the functions are controlled with the remote, and I find that it's also one of the interest of the model (see video).
  4. I'm not sure to understand what you mean. But blakbird has all the files, not me, sorry. Two new triangulars are indeed needed for a stronger built in a critical location :)
  5. Thanks. Here is the part list, it's indeed a good idea to see before if you have all the parts needed :)
  6. Notice finished ! With a magnificient render by blakbird : Notice costs 5euros. Money is splitted 50/50. You can naturally give more if you want. So, to have the notice, you contact me at guillaume.meurisse@gmail.com. I give you all the informations needed for payment( iban). And as soon as I have checked that it's done, I send to you the file. When you paid, please write "notice for GuiliuG" ( with your name instead of guiliug). Naturally, I trust you that you're not going to send the notice to everybody. I hope I was clear, if not ask your question here ! If you build this model, please don't forget to post a picture on this topic and to say what you think about it. Enjoy building !
  7. Nice old tow truck ! Is it able to drive or gear cracks?
  8. It can be built with studless but will look way different :). And, in any case, we haven't enough white studless part to do it ! But I find that it's useless to try to compare a studless moc to an studfull one
  9. Not sure about that... Sheepo's models ( for instance) are way more complex than this ! I'm very glad to see that some people want to built this model. Instructions will probably cost rougly 5euros for all the work involved.Hope you don't mind... :)
  10. No. Each side of the differential drive a wheel. See more pictures to see that :p.
  11. Can you show how the suspensions are built? And a picture underneath the vehicule would be appreciated. I really love it, and the mecanum wheels are amazing !
  12. Allamp, it's possible, I have already built such a mechanism, but it's powerless, unfortunately : All the pictures
  13. Blakbird has spoiled me... : MECHANICAL PART
  14. The main avantage of tatra suspension is that all the wheel are independant. In a rigid axle, when a wheel goes up, the other located on the axle goes down. Compared to traditionnal independant suspension, wheel doesn't stay perpendicular to the road but tatra suspension is stronger than usual one which can be found on car. In lego technic, tatra suspension is actually bad to do truck trial. Indeed, all the weight is put on the transmission axle because lego tatra suspension don't use turn table. Now, with the release of the new mini-turn table it's maybe possible to create a suspension tatra with two turn tables ( the big and the small one), but it will ve bery complicated, surely not very strong and reducing ground clearence. But tatra suspension is beautiful, it's a fact :p
  15. Remove this 5.5 axle and it would be perfect :)
  16. Brillant ! Is it possible to see some detailled pictures of the gearbox? I would love to see how it exactly works :).
  17. Strangly, I find that the frame construction is not built so neat than your previous supercar. But it looks incredibily well, it's a fact :) !
  18. Here is my workplace : All my parts are carefully store and I know perfectly where they are ! They are classified by shape, then by color.
  19. Why do you make a new topic if you have already started a topic about your project? How do you want we help you without same seeing one picture? I don't want to be rude, but your posts seem all similar and useless. It's impossible to help you simply with your explanations...
  20. Thanks all ! 88High, can you explain me why you don't like rear steering wheels? They are very usefull to reduce the turning radious and real unimogs can be mounted with this pecularity ( same if most of the unimogs doesn't have rear steering wheels). As I have explained, two pumps are insufficient to have a decent speed movements and they is no space to put more pumps or to increase the speed compressor. The dump can lift roughly 200g !
  21. Hello everybody ! During this week I finished a big unimog, same scale as 8110. It features a lot of functions. Here they are : -Full suspensions -Propulsion with three differentials and central diff-lock -Steering with different turning radious on front and rear axle -Fake engine connected to the xl output -Xl motor which controls via two gearboxs °propulsion °rotation turret °front pto °rear pto -tri-dump -front air output -rear air output -three arm movements -stabilizers -door -cab As you can notice, I use a pneumatic pump because two compressors where insuffisient to have a decend speed movements. The arm is strong enough to take some (heavy?) load, such as a BB ( which begins to be the limit). The tri-dump is a classic one but it works well. No parellogram for a stronger structure and more efficienty. The wheel are unable to turn when the truck is stopped due to te clutch. I'm obliged to put a clutch because the steering use to cv-joints which can break. The suspensions could be harder because the truck weights 2kg400. I'm very pleased by the truck functions and look. It will be exposed at fana'briques 2012, Rosheim. You can see all the pictures on my brickshel galery ( when public) : My brickshelf And here is the video : I'm open to any questions !
  22. Looks very beautiful, but as for a lot of your creations, a lot of questions are remaining such as : is it motorized, what are exactly the functions, work they well,... Why don't you make some videos?
  23. All the MOC you have done so far where great but this one is again better than everything you have built ! It looks incredibily well with this blue color and this amazing shape. Honnestly, I never imagine that you have put so much functions in a such space when I firstly see it. Can we have more pictures to see how everything fit? And what about the robutness of the tachikoma? Again, great creation !
  24. Compact gearbox but i definitively do not like the way the gearbox is built with connectors because they generate too much friction compared to standart beams. To speak about your car, I find it's nice but can be even better if you spend the time needed to reach this perfection ( such as crowkiller do). I think you build too quickly and don't reflect too much about the optimisation of your construction !
  25. Here is the first modelisation picture : Everything will go quicker, now that I have used a little the tool and know how it works.
