My second wheel loader
GuiliuG replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks ! Yes the bucket should be closer ! Now i think i can close it because i have had small bent beam with 8069. The propulsion is slow not to have the front wheel lifting. -
Hello everybody ! I'm happy to present you my new model : a fully functionnal JCB wheel loader. Here is the real wheel loader which inspired me a little : And here is my lego model : It's principaly built with studless because i haven't a lot of studfull. So the back of the vehicule is not very beautiful =/ The truck is totaly controlled by pfs. It owns : -A xl which controls the propulsion with 8T/24T-12T/20T-20T/28T -A M which controls the steering ( articulated) with 16T/16T/16T-linear clutch-12T/20T-worm gear/8T-12T/rack -A M which controls the arm with 20T/clutch-12T/20T-universal joint-16T/16T [16T/16T-12T/20T/12T ] for each La] -A M which controls the bucket with 20T/clutch-12T/20T-universal joint-16T/16T-12T/20T/12T -Pendular rear axle -Opening doors To put on the battery box, you've just to remove a pin with bush and to (raise?) a beam I took 20houres to build it and it weights 1kg600. Here is the video : I hope you like and i'm open to all comments. In the end, here is my brickshelf galery for aditionnal pictures : My link Sorry for my english mistakes =/

I totaly agree with you erik leppen ! It's more interesting than 8455 ( i also dislike pneumatic cylinders compared to Las) and this new one contains a lot of usefull parts for my future MOC ! And Jurgen, i don't understand why you compare a model which costs 60euros with your model which have probably to cost 200-250 euros :/

Chrizzle's MOCs
GuiliuG replied to Chrizzle's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's a cool model but i'm not fan of the track transmission because you use an uncommon construction you're obliged to force the pieces to create this structure. -
Truck Trial
GuiliuG replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have finally found the time to finish the notice : Notice Some pictures are dark because my camera is bad and it's winter. If you want to build it and have some problems, tell me where you block ! If you build it, please tell me what you think of the truck. -

Truck Trial
GuiliuG replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, i can change easily a reduction 12T/20T by 16T/16T but personnally i find it's a good compromise between speed and torque @Jovel : if you read this topic and find i copy your truck trial, i'm ok to replace "inspired" by "copied" -
Truck Trial
GuiliuG replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Actually i prefer not to write a lot to reduce my mistakes^^ So, it weights 1kg173g in its first version, with the second version it has to weight 20-30g less. It's powered by an Xl motor with the reductions 16T/16T/16T-12T/20T-12T/20T-8T/24T. All the reductions are in the axles to reduce the tilt effect. The direction has an ackerman effect, is powered by a M motor with the reductions 8T/clutch-12T/20T-12T/20T-12/rack The hood can also be opened as the first version to reveal the M motor. -
Hello everybody ! Today, i'm happy to show you my new truck trial which is the best that i have ever made ! The design is inspired from jovel's TT but it's just inspired ^^. My truck is built with pendular suspension. It's really performant ! You can see some other pictures on my folder : Brickshelf gallery And the videos : Next time i will put my videos together ! The videos show the first version of the MOC: But the performances of the second version are exactly the same, the designs has just changed. I think that this TT is able to compete with the best Truck ( from nico71,zblj,jovel,...) I hope you like and i'm open to any comments. Sorry if there are some mistakes but my english is bad =/

A truck
GuiliuG replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thank you everybody. Jurgen Krooshoop, i have added a second ir to control the propulsion with the first ir wich is in the first canal andthe steering with the second ir which is on the fourth canal. -
A truck
GuiliuG replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@ fmmjqtft: you're totaly right. But i have discovered this only this afternoom :) @Dudeler : this truck is not inspired from a real truck, but he's just inspired form my imagination ! @Benly : yes it's front suspension, with white spring -
Hello everybody ! My new moc is a truck. Effectively, i ordered the new controller and i wanted a truck to test it. Like you can see on this image : the cable is too short, so i'm obliged to detatch the switch to full tilt the cab. And the switch lights leds : Here is the video : I have added a second ir to control the steering with the "old" controller because i'm not yet accustomed to the new (i have had it for one day^^). I'm open to all comments and sorry for my english :)

Claas Cougar
GuiliuG replied to GuiliuG's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thank you :) I have built the cab in black just because i haven't white =/ And it's the same reason for the knob : i haven't the good parts. I build with my pieces :) -
Hello everybody ! Two years ago i built a ugly cougar because i begon to play with lego technic and i did not have many parts. So i wanted to build a better cougar because i have more experience now. That's done ! Here is my moc : There are 94 gears in the moc ! Here is the gallery where you can see the building of the moc : my gallery And here is the video : Sorry for the ugly pictures and video but my camera is really bad =/

8043 Excavator - Lego update
GuiliuG replied to tomacwhite's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Rectification : for you ;-) Personnaly, i prefer La to pneumatic cylender because they are very accurate and reliable. But the two are usefull, it depends on the case. -
