    Sarumans beard keeps on being too white.. the mustache... The palintir looks like it was amde for MOC'ing miniature barad'dur. It should have been more black as a palintir. COncil of elrond was a happy suprise, really nice color scheme, nice stickers(?) and 2 great minifigures. Are those arches new? The eagle is very good in my opinion!

    The Mandarin figure will proapbly look better without the beard piece (if he's got printed beard aswell)

    Are they not just talking about the fact that there will be sets absed on DOS this december?.... nothing new.. No news there,and they are not talking about 1 set but the whole 2. wave of hobbit sets. The initial press realease in 2011 already said there would be sets for both hobbit films. this new presss release only says it won't be revealed uintill later this year, proapbly comi con. 1 set or something.

    Oh stop it you guys. In the movies they do not work with the same ages specified in the books.

    That Mandarin hair/beard is TRASH. Lego super heroes wave 2 seems to be mroe or less absent of new molds... The super heroes line does not get the full treatment I feel it deserves from lego. It feels a bit like a 2. rate unlisenced theme..

    Last year only the orc forge set was 3d printed and used stickers and preliminary box art, everything else from lotr was final in every way. I'm getting tired of people keep bringing up the picture from the lego offices

    I don't get why the embargo would be later this year than last. I still chouse to believe NY toy fair will give us pictures of the LOTR stuff. LEGO representatives working at toy fair arn't always the most reliable sources. LOTR wasnt allowed to be photographed as last years german toy fair either, so this person is proapbly just mixing up dates. (at london toy fair one said the bttf set wasnt a real thing, this was months after it was announced online.)

    Theres no reason to believe we wont, so I'm gonna say YES we'll be seeing pcitures of the sets pop up sunday/monday.

    In my there will be minifigs NO DOUBT. this will be a set akin to Diagon alley, not a model made purely for accuracy. A D2C/hard to find not old fashioned UCS

    Quite nice, but the middle part with the doors cannot be that high. I would ditch the gold round things, the smalle blue titles, and extended the green bits one stud more towards the edges.

    Rhosgobel would never have been in the first wave of hobbit nomatter what, because LEGO needed to make all the 13 dwarves in the first wave and rhosgobel leaves no oppertunity for that.

    The way the buy lisences is for a set time, maybe they only have it for 2 years.

    This figure should have been all gold with the red parts printed on.. The designer is proapbly too narrow minded to accept that this ironman suit is gold with red on it, instead of red with gold on it like it normally is. The printing is nice but compared to the source material it could have been so much better.     No it wont havea cavill look casue the NEW expression has the same loook as the current lego superman face.
