  1. Dear lord, guys. Making it scandalous up in here. As someone who doesn't play Overwatch, how many characters would be considered the "core" cast? As in far too essential to not have? I know there are a ton of playable characters beyond just that.
  2. Amazon has me set up for day one delivery tomorrow. I'll be out running my work appointments over the afternoon, but tomorrow night I should have some first impressions to share.
  3. To be fair, since she's, ya know, purple, it's less realistic so Lego probably can get away with it more. If they tried to do it with a more "realistic" character, like Spider-Man's Black Cat, for example, they would almost certainly pick a less risqué version to adapt.
  4. Good to know. I'm always a little more eager to watch something when I've spoken to someone who liked it.
  5. Reviews are in. Metacritic has it at a mediocre 55 out of 100 average, and Rotten Tomatoes has a warmer 76% fresh with a 6.36 out of 10 average score. After the original trailer, I would have been surprised, but after most recent one I posted on here, it sounds about right. I don't have DC's streaming service yet, since I've been busy getting established in a new job, but (hopefully soon) I will be setting one up and going into my thoughts on here after each episode. If anyone wants to beat me to it, I'd certainly like to hear some opinions on here from you guys as well.
  6. As always, I love it. But this one is a step above, even as brilliant as the previous ones. This is insane how much detail you packed into minifig scale!
  7. I agree; I'll be ordering a spare pair to keep on him, unless next year's figure has something similar.
  8. Conveniently for you, my nostalgic-time crunchy-shelled friend, I did that exactly when I picked up the set in August. Here ya go!
  9. I wasn't blown away by some of the new versions of default looks, but Green Goblin is hands-down the best yet. That just looks good.
  10. I'd prefer that they avoid outright remaking sets like they did when the SH theme launched; we don't need ANOTHER Joker helicopter vs Burton-styled Batwing. New versions of Bat-villains we already have are fine. I suspect this is just a temporary Batman focus, with possible branding to go along with it, and that the DC Super Heroes line will still continue on. Besides, a Batman focus is more likely to get people the ever-desired Mad Hatter or Hush, which I know would bring a chorus of praises on this very forum.
  11. I found a video with the bootleg raptors. That would be such an ideal size for what I want; side note, those bootlegs have some rather awful-looking quality. I know TLG would obviously do better than that, but jeez was that weak.
  12. Super glad to be getting Ocean Master, but I suspected as much. And it'll be nice to see Aquaman (potentially) getting an updated, presumably Rebirth styled, comic minifigure.
  13. New trailer just dropped (for anyone wondering about the Netflix stuff, it's going to be on Netflix outside of the US and China). This one is definitely put together better than the first one. I'm able to find a little more optimism than before. Granted, it's more of an "Arrow course-corrected into a better show after the first 3rd of season one" optimism, but hey, better than nothing. Some of the costuming still lacks, and some of the same problems about gratuitous violence are still unclear, but at least they didn't make this one look "edgelord" this time.
  14. The Emperor's New Groove. My wife and her friend both loved it from childhood, but I hadn't seen it, so we put it on. Thoroughly enjoyed it; I definitely like how drastically it broke Disney's usual mold to make what was outright a very entertaining farcical comedy. Wish Disney would do more movies like that again.
  15. Additional side note, as I have now seen the JL Dark characters: I am so excited to have John Constantine playable in one of these games.
  16. Most of the characters look great, except the one pic I've seen of Prometheus has him made of deep green bricks, and it looks odd.
  17. Brilliant! I love a good micro-scale build, and this one is clearly fantastic.
  18. I like it! It's cozy and full of character.
  19. Firestorm's Crime Syndicate counterpart, Deathstorm:
  20. I REAAAAAAALLLY hope to see Killer Moth in another character pack. While they've only named a few here, LB3 had a few extra character packs that popped up additionally later on, like the Rainbow Pack or the Superheroines Pack, neither of which had been mentioned previously.
  21. That's right, this would be his first Lego game appearance. And with his character on Krypton, it's possible he's gotten enough recent public attention for Lego to merit a minifigure down the line. No guarantees, but I would like seeing him appear in the future.
  22. Oh dang, those arms are... diminutive.
  23. TLW might not have been the strongest sequel out there, but there's good potential for fun sets out of it, I'd think.
  24. What I'd like to see, and it's highly unlikely, is a raptor more in scale with the movies. If the preexisting molds were modified down to about a half-size, with one stud on the back instead of four, it would be close enough; I think arm and leg clips would still have enough room to be the same size, while the head could be done with a Scooby-Doo style rod-and-hole attachment. I realize it may not be a perfect plan, since I have no idea how strong the jaw piece would still be, and cannot guarantee the clips would actually work, but a guy can dream. JP raptors stand roughly human height when upright, deinonychus (the real dino JP's velociraptors are based on) is somewhat smaller than that, and even Utahraptor, the largest known dromaeosaur, is nowhere nearly as big as the Lego raptor's scale compared to a minifigure.
  25. Me too. I can't help it; I like making the teamups logical.
