  1. I don't like these ones. I'll buy 1x and that's all. I'd like they could come back with normal series...
  2. Good work. As usual. Most of these are ones I'd buy.
  3. My Egyptian Warrior is losing, but my yeti is feeling COOL!
  4. Old shipwreck island, though it will pass this round and lose 99% at the next one...
  5. Tie breaker open. Tomorrow Group 15.
  6. I think elsewise. I think that if you have no limits, then you don't have to use imagination. Like when you are stuck in a level in a videogames and you use cheats to overcome the problem. But, as you say these are tastes, and those are only my thoughts on the matter, no intention to judge anyone's work. However, my point is: those minfiigures are, in my eyes, too little "LEGO". I mean, while I can understand one or two custom parts scattered among 16 minifigures, these are nearly entirely customs. This is why I wanted to see something like that using entirely LEGO parts, because I believe that there is room to do such and you are talented enough to do it!
  7. Well, I do tell when I see pictures myself. I don't like to say "a trustworthy source said so" and then come with nothing because the trustworthy source wasn't trustworthy. I hope you may understand.
  8. I voted for the Pirate Mini Figure because I'm pretty fond of that small set and reminds me good times. Yet, the Trading Post is the Trading post. I remember the times it was said that they were making an UCS Trading Post. What days those days.
  9. Yes I am. But also this is a passion for me that consumes most of my time, so, you know, it needs work and skill to climb the ladder, and I feel like I'm still at the lower steps. I'm glad to be useful for the community. The more the AFOLs, the more the fun.
  10. ^ This. I made a LEGO Lug Tour this june at Billund's HQ, and we talked also a lot about collectible minifigures since it's one of my favourite themes. I can confirm that every series is not designed by one person, but by a lot of different people and this can be found in a couple of DK books. So either this information user Bricksanity gave us is naively given, or purposedly given wrong, at least part of it. I can also confirm that store employees have insights before many people do. For instance, you know (or perhaps most of you do) me as a source of information and I knew since May that TLG was re-releasing the Taj Mahal. I was, however asked very strictly not to share, so I didn't. This piece of information was confidentially given to me by a store assistant. I cannot conifrm nor deny that this will be a costumed character series, but, if I would be asked to make an educated guess, I'd say rather that it will be a costumed series with maybe a couple of "not-too-fitting" characters likewise series 14 was a Monsters-themed series, with some characters who looked more "People dressed as a monster" than a monster itself. (EG: The Gargoyle, The Banshee, The Ghost were MONSTERS, while The Plant Guy, The Tiger Girl, The Skeleton Guy were PEOPLE DISGUISED AS MONSTERS) (and it's quite questionable if a Tiger Woman is actually a monster...). I am very interested about this series, and I have heard more costumed characters than reported in the list of the ones that are "confirmed" so the room for uncostumed characters narrows, but I feel like while this will appeal a lot of people, I won't grab multiples this time because there won't probably be army-builder favs in this series, or so I believe.
  11. Round 13 is ready for you to play!
  12. WATCH OUT! A new round has started!
