    Actually, I heard a lot of different rumours. Here in Italy the catalog says JUNE, but last year it said MAY and in april we got them. Furthermore a shop owner surprised me telling me they have already ordered series 7 (which is normal) and that it is due to be shipped in march too, as this user on EB wrote. So I won't be that surprised if somewhere they could arrive in march... in UK and Ireland series 6 was sold in december...

    Not really. I predicted a ballerina though I wouldn't like to see that minifigure. It's a guessing game.

    I don't get it. It's just a game, I absolutely know that I have no evidence that these will be the next 16... It's just a guessing game. And that's not even the "minifig missing thread" because it's a game on how much you think you can predict TLC. Just it. Why should it be closed?

    I propose this game: everybody here can guess 16 minifigures for series 8. Who has the highest number of right guesses wins the game. I start 1 - Male Ice Skater 2 - Ballerina 3 - Spanish Torero 4 - Golf Player 5 - Baker with Bread 6 - Indian Snake Charmer 7 - Medusa 8 - Postman 9 - Female Reporter 10 - Javelin Thrower 11 - Miner 12 - Invisible man, with printed coat, trans-clear head and trans-clear hands 13 - Greek/Roman woman 14 - Cafeteria Waitress 15 - Boy Scout 16 - Bowling guy with Bowling ball ;) I think some of this will be in S8.

    I would welcome a street brawling action theme, like Street Fighter, Final Fight, or Double Dragon... with a bunch of heroes kicking megablocks of the bad guy in street scenarios.

    I got them! 5 roman centurions, 5 minotaurs, 7 highland battlers, 2 leprechauns, 1 genie and ZERO errors. Now I will go on, I must reach big lots (I do the bagfeeling for friends also) like 36 centurions and so on. Rome, Italy, is my hunting territory. I wish for your minifig collection to stand aside from this city! ;)

    In s5 i got 10 gladiators and 20 dwarves without errors by feeling the bags. In s3 i got 15 elves this way. I didn't like very much s4, but I got musketeers and frankensteins whis way too. S6 will be a hard task: I want a lot of minifigures and I'll have to check a lot of shops. I'm grateful TLG put 5 minotaurs and 5 highland battlers. And I am not that sure that intergalactic girl is easy to mess with minotaurs. The axe and the horns are easy pieces to spot. I spotted most of the dwarves only by feeling the axe.

    I can't believe that. $50 for attack on the weathertop, and you say that's quite good. I hope I'm not getting irony, because those prices are senseless. EVEN for a licensed product. TLG is recently taking their prices out of reasonable.

    This works only if every fig has 1/16 chance to pop out, which is incorrect. Bytheway I see two major lacks in the argument, probably I failed at reading the whole discussion but: 1) Nobody mentions that with 58 consecutive picks from the same box, you get 100%. Your magic number is 58, provided they come out of the same box (and it's easy to be you the first buyer if you really care). 2) Cheating is not forbidden. Feeling the minifigs is SUPER EASY. I got 0% errors on series 4 and 5. I collected 20 dwarves this way. So, for me, 16 will be my magic number. But I don't care since I booked a box two months ago :)

    I wouldn't bet a penny on that. There will be ONE or TWO dedicated to AFOLS. Nothing more. AFOLS, alas, do a small minority of TLC's market.

    I clearly have no doubt that they needed to do that because of Lando Calrissian. And, yes, I yet don't find any other better solution than the split. Nevertheless, I don't like that. I have tons of minifigs and the fleshies don't fit with them, I always sell them on bricklink for way less than the average price, for they really help me to get rid of them. But I think this isn't LoTR-2012 related, so I will stop here. I just add that people loving flesh minifig help me because if not, I would have to keep them and that's not my goal.
