Pretty sure by now that is a Trope.
-
The giant makes a sound that is somehow half chuckle and half grimace. A rather strange collection of bedfellows, Thormanil, Siercon, Jinnipher, Lind, Arthur, and myself. There was no shortage of conflict within or without.
-
Welcome to the game Fox.
-
Someone's gotta keep the party real.
-
I have a set of Mythril armor that is 10, so an admantium shield should be able to be 25 without issue.
-
Not a poor decision to make. He fancied himself the Father of dragons, a timeless immortal force of nature. From what I saw, aside from the Immortal part, he made have spoken truth.
-
Nothing cryptic Throlar, I speak of the great serpent Imortallis. It was he who caused the fires and storms that threatened the city. I thought all knew of it.

Since returning from the battle with the Elder Wyrm, very little. It has been very quiet in the hall and city as of late. While it was a welcome change for a time, it has grown tense. It worries me that pressures may be building that are, as of yet, hidden from us.

Vindsval nods to the gruff little man. Welcome back.

Sitting quietly at the bar Vindsval listens to the gears and cogs move within his arm. The sound reminds him that is has been nearly a year since he received the marvelous gift from Father Grogmas. Lots of players have gotten themselves behind the eightball going straight into the fields. They are for mid to high level players. New players should just wait for low level quests. No reason to change things up.
-
Huzzah and Hurray.
-
A worthy goal. I would gladly lend my words to your tale. To have your songs recited and know I contributed would be a great honor. If you would tell the tale of the Orc Clans, perhaps Miderun could be of help as well.

I know little of the Theater. What I have seen has been afar. Few traveling performers wanted a child like me sitting in their front row when they came to a town to earn coin. There was once a man who offered to buy me from my father to play the beast in his traveling show, but as you can see the offer was declined. Human put great stock in the theater do they not? There are those who devote their lives to becoming someone else. There are times when I can see the attraction. Though for entertainment I find myself drawn more to a masterful told story, in the dead of night, beneath the stars around a roaring fire. Friends and mead close. Tell me your story Karie, It would please me to hear it.
-
An old song of the North, It brings back . . . memories. The corner of Vindsval's mouth curls up slightly as Karie cuts back at their bitter traveling companion. Wonderful suggestion Mistress. Calm yourself White One, You do not wish to anger that one. Or me for that matter. If you want sleep, leave. If you would welcome companionship, temper your tongue and join in. Your kind know the rhythm of the ice. Bend your knuckles and strike the beat.
-
Vindsval's sonerous voice continues to reverberate through the nearly silent hall. Drink to the truth of steel and blood that falls like rain. Drink to The Final Path and to our kinsmen, slain. Drink to the Fields of Glory where a man embraces death, and thank the gods that we live at all with our joyous dying breath! Drink for the wind blows cold and Drink for the Wolf runs free Drink to the ships with the sails like wings for The Wanderer's sons are we!

CMP LIVES!!!!!

Vindsval walks over to the bar and obtains a cask of thick dark ale. He sits down on his barrel and begins to sip. His eyes close, and in a deep bouldery voice begins to sing, slowly and deeply. Drink, for the wind blows cold and Drink for The Wolf runs free. Drink to the ships with the sails like wings and Drink to the storm-tossed seas. Drink to the lasting nights and those who warm our beds. Drink to the mead that warms our hearts and the cold that clears our head. Drink to the Wander's Eye for His sons are we. Drink to the World-Tree where he hung and the Runes of Mystery.

Vindsval nods, This hall and this city are not for everyone. Would 50 gold pieces satisfy? He hands the small woman The Scroll of Frailty and 50 Gold Coins in exchange for the Renegade’s Crook
-
By the Wanderer that is Glorious.
-
I thought so, Catastrophe, no Calamity, that was it was it not? Vindsval accepts the crook and closes his still flesh and bone hand around it. He closes his eyes and concentrated on focusses a small ration of energy into the weapon. It absorbs the energy and seems to redirect it. The Giant raises and eyebrow. Curious, quite curious. I could offer your gold, or perhaps a Scroll of Frailty? What are your plans for the future?
-
As all of his current table mates move off to various locations Vindsval looks around the hall and sees a young girl carrying a skull topped staff. A strange crook pokes up from one of her packs and he moves over to Calamity to get a closer look. Excuse me, I am Vindsval, have we met? That staff you carry, the one with the crook at it's end. Might I see it a moment?
-
For Vindsval in a nutshell, Looking at himself and finding that he has become the beast he has fought against for so long.
-
I want to continue.

Yeah, I stopped trying to view the site on my phone. Your guiding hand will be sorely missed Sandy. I know I came late to the party, but I have very much enjoyed the show. Perhaps some of our own "veterans" could step up to keep things running.
