    It's pretty clear from this build you've never worked with CCBS or any constraction at all. The build is completely separated from the actual design of Ekimu the Mask Maker set, not just in colour as you intended it to be, but build complexity has been essentially completely removed from this build, everything that made the set interesting and worthwhile has been completely removed, and somehow his leg poseability is completely removed in a revamp moc. This looks as though you've never looked at payed any attention to the builds used in BIONICLE G2 sets or any CCBS sets in general. And of course this is build-able in real life, this build uses one of the most barebones CCBS builds that exists.

    Zenerius, you are a life saver. I haven't MOCed in a long time and my skills are incredibly rusty now, it was good to have something to refresh my mind!

    Yeah, I got the same issue here, doesn't help that I'm super hyped for a Convention that I'm going to this weekend. Ah well, I got plenty of time to work on something amazing.

    Yeah, I definitely know not everyone thought mask powers were some kind of voodoo, because my parents (back when I was still a christian) were completely okay with it and didn't really mind the "magic mask things" at all. And I too want a clean slate, I don't mind minor easter eggs that don't mean a whole lot, but I would really like if lego kept the old continuity untouched

    Technic-based building isn't what made bionicle, well, bionicle. Majority of the G1 bionicle sets had barely any technic pieces in them anyway. I don't know if you've noticed at all, but these sets have more technic functions in them than your average Hero Factory set ever did, especially the lord of skull spiders. I know this post you made is probably a bait post to flame the conversation, but darnit, it really bugs me that people still think that Technic is what defined bionicle, because that's simply not true.

    Yeah, not really. An opinion, yes, an argument? No. LEGO didn't "cross lines" for describing flawed traits that the Toa have. Having phobias is a real problem though. While darkness and heights may not pose any real threat to Pohatu and Onua, they are still afraid because that is exactly what a phobia is; an irrational fear of something. Something which is a completely real and valid flaw in anyone's personality, Hero or not.

    You are blowing this way out of proportion. A hero with flaws in their personality seems to be a completely alien concept for you. Spiderman is a completely different hero. LEGO have crossed no lines except the one that apparently makes you overreact. Onua is a guy that spends his time underground a lot, fear of heights fits him perfectly fine. As is a fear of the dark for Pohatu, a guy who spends his time above ground in adequately lit conditions. These simple phobias they have are not ones that would really inhibit their ability to fight. Phobias can affect anyone, and yes, they may be biomechanical beings, but they also think and feel and have emotions, having a phobia is entirely possible, even if you are supposed to be a hero. Heroes are still "normal people" after all. Agreed.

    Are you joking right now. For a child, a fear of heights or the dark are completely normal, when you get older however, these fears become flaws. These traits of theirs are flaws.

    No one said anything about continuing to write the old bionicle, I was simply stating that liking the new one won't mean the old bionicle you once knew will cease to exist and it will be impossible to like both G1 and G2 at the same time. All I was saying is that liking 2 separate continuities is possible.

    You realise it's entirely possible to like 2 different bionicle continuities at the same time, right? Liking the new doesn't require abandoning the old one at all, kinda like transformers, G1 and Armada are my favourite series equally.

    Yes, they only have a 3-year story, which will be extended, depending upon the success of the revival. If I recall correctly, there was something about the mask of time being making a potential appearance in later story, but I can't be 100% on that. All I know is the next 3-years is going to be the tracking down of all 3 legendary masks.

    That is assuming of course that the same narrator is voicing gali. To be honest, I hope Pohatu is australian, that suits him just fine.

    Idk what it is, but the Skull Spiders remind me so much of the Headcrabs from the Half-Life series. I'm definitely making a re-skin of the headcrab in garry's mod some time.
