Im not too familiar with the Venator but the front of yours looks a little too blunt. as if there is too much thickness between the top and bottom hull plates. This question was asked in the Licensed Thread. However I thought we should ask an ambassador. Will Disney and Lego be producing Tron Lego sets next year. Looking at Prince of Persia lego sets, Toy Story, Cars Duplos, and now Pirates of the Carribean I would hope that Tron will be turned into Legos. How are licensed sets produced? Is it the brainchild of Lego or does the company, in this case Disney, approach Lego first?

I dont know about these responses. I am merely comparing Price of Persia to Tron. I think Tron is more popular. Granted im thinking of the original. Tron is big enough that Disney pulled all the stops to continue the story. As opposed to re-doing Tron. Like so many other movies like "Flight of the Phoenix" and other awful remakes of good movies. Im unsure as to which side pitches the ideas for Lego sets. Is it Disney who asks lego, or the other way around? Given the popularity of Lego Toy Story, and the fact that they made sets for POP (prince of persia) I wouldnt put it past Disney to make tron sets. However the fact that we havent heard anything is dissapointing. How much time was there between POP the movie and the Lego sets being announced? I just joined the Lego online community so I dont know what happened last year or earlier this year when the movie came out or prior to that event in regards to any announcements of the lego sets. oh yeah dont forget the 4th Disney licensed product line, Pixar Cars duplo sets. I am a little curious as to the reasoning behind the late release of Cars Duplo. Obviously Megablock got the license first. Strike while the iron is hot. Some legal issues came up, im assuming, and Disney now has Lego making Cars Duplo. However how is it that Pixar Cars toys are sustainable? Do kids still like cars? The movie is 4 years old. On a side note. I do have Tron Kubricks, the closest thing to Tron legos.

Tripods are helpful. Also there is a nifty trick on most cameras, the self timer. It is like a remote. You set the self timer and take the shot. Since the camera is mounted, the self timer eliminates any movement and gives the camera time to stop moving. Even when the camera is mounted to a tripod, the physical act of pushing the shutter button will cause the camera to move just enough to ruin the shot. This is of course only for long exposure shots.

I collect other toys and saying something is sealed is one thing. But MISB (mint in sealed box) is a totally different thing. One toy line I collect is Macross (not robotech). There is a toy that came packed 4 per carton. It was a big toy so rather packed in a row, they were packed at each corner. So the chances of getting an absolutely mint box was nigh impossible. I managed to get lucky, but some of my online friend griped and complained that they boxes had corner damage. It is the nature of the beast.

Whoops. Mods please merge this with he general question thread. No my chrome storm troopers were the TRU poly bag ones.

I have 3 chrome storm troopers and was noticing a minor quality issue. The factory that chromed these guys did not bother to take them apart. So there are bare white spots on the torso sides, under and ontop of the legs. So if you sit the stormtrooper, his butt will be white. Is this the same for c3po and chrome vader? Having bare spots?

So the ARC gunship was painted? The stripping right? But the rest are blue Lego elements?

Haha ok I knew Esque but didn know the acronym "OT" Yeah I used to like DOF (depth of field) shots where everything is in focus. But now I'm playing with shallow focus. A little difficult since my budget lens is all manual focus. With a narrow depth of field at 1.8f/s the focal range is like a sheet of paper. If you are not right on it, you miss it. So I back off to 2 ish

no I didnt. But looking at the other UCS, none of them really interest me other than the Millenium Falcon. Seeing what Marshall Banana mod his, I want something awesome and accurate like that too. Im trying to not buy a lot of legos. I stretched out too thin with transformers. so im scaling back. focus on a few. It helps that I only like episodes 4-6. So i can ignore all the clone wars stuff. although I am interested in the Pirates of the carribean coming soon.
