  1. Not sure where to put this so mods, if you feel the need, please relocate this where it should go. Box shot Here are some of the interesting pieces. Most of them do not exist in Lego, like the solid piece trigger. The 1x6 "block" if you can call it that, is slotted. There are matched sets. One with male pegs and the other with female ends. They are what allows the slide of the gun to "slide". Here are some brief snapshots of the build Here is where the magic happens. The lego jousting rod compresses the spring. the oddly shaped rod with flat flanges slides back and locks to the trigger. By pulling the trigger down, the catch is disengaged and the rod flies forward to push out technic rods. For $20 it is a little steep when online stores in china are selling this for $12.95. But considering I didnt picked this up, it evens out if I ordered it and shipped it. It is a neat model and much cheaper and more available than the unlicensed BrickGun.com
  2. Thanks. I bought two of them.
  3. Holy crap that is awesome. My friends went to Kinkau-ji while I went to Tokyo. It was a summer school in japan. I kind of regret not going.
  4. Thanks. Which issue is it? i'll just buy it from the publisher online. Is it the review of the Grand Carousel or is it a different article?
  5. Does anyone know which issue he was referring to?
  6. I just bought the Grand Carousel from a lady on Craigslist. Her boyfriend said that Brick Journal had instructions to place the power motor inside the carousel rather than running the carousel from the tire. does anyone have scans of this?
  7. can you explain the connection between the head and torso.
  8. Here is a better a better pic I added some instrumentation
  9. at first I thought wow what a great MOC ship. Then I saw the awesome scene around the ship!!! Just like the ride.
  10. Whew I cant believe I got third place. After seeing some of the other great shots. I thought, boy my picture is kinda lack luster. Maybe its because I was one of the first to post. Seeing so many great submissions got me worried haha. Congrats to the other winners. I dont know why but I TOTALLY forgot about the droids kissing. My brain got stuck on Avanut's awesome picture.
  11. yeah I don't know why but there were a few things that LDD would not let me do. There are the comer 1 stud brick with 4 knobs. Which is sandwiched between two technic 1 stud brick with technic hole. That is not allowed. I could not get some of the side greebling to work. The 2x2 turntable and the cheese slope with 1x3 slope does not want to fit in LDD. The roof of the car does not want to sit on the car using your method. Stupid LDD. Haha.
  12. I just followed the flickr instructions to the best of my ability. But had to creatively get around some of the illegal connections.
  13. Ahh thanks. I just started using LDD so there is going to be a bit of time for me to catch up on all the little ins and outs to really play with this program.
  14. Is there a shortcut to collapse the brick browser? When i search for a brick, by typing the name, it opens up the categories that matches the search. when I clear the search, LDD opens ALL the categories. I find it annoying to have to collapse them back again. Is there a quicker way than to click on every category icon?
  15. Eversince Pellaeon made his MOC tumbler. I have always wanted one for my batman. I traded my official Tumbler for some SW sets. I never liked how large it was compared to the minifig. I think Pellaeon's is the perfect proportion to the minifig. Some parts of Pellaeon's instructions did not seem allowed in LDD. But this is my very first build and usage of LDD so maybe it is my fault for being a noob. I changed the rear wings to a clicky plate, since LDD would not allow me to use Pellaeon's method.
  16. I didnt want to start a new topic. Does LDD have this short technic slope?
  17. So I have always wanted to build Pellaeon's MOC: Tumbler. As seen here. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=45185&st=0 I followed his guide as best as I could on LDD. Here is his FlickR instructions/guide http://www.flickr.com/photos/pellaeon/sets/72157624973129456/ Im having problems with placing certain parts. Like on Page/image 35, there are pieces that need to be rotated at an awkward angle. However I seem to only be able to move one piece and not the entire sub assembly. Same problem with the "wings" and cockpit hatch. Can some one help? When I try to place the wings, it does not allow the piece to settle. How do I attach my LDD file? I get an error message.
  18. I just started using LDD so please excuse the noobness. I cannot find the 2x2 turntable.
  19. Can someone help me? Is the round circle 2x2 spinning plate in LDD?
  20. Thanks guys. Im good on the diaper/crotch piece haha. I dont need one in flesh for what I want to do.
  21. Im trying to find some naked flesh colored legs. Do they exist? I just realized, worst case I could take slave leia legs and braso the printing off.
  22. He has always been generous. I only know him thru another toy that we commonly collect. But he gave stuff away back then too. He said he bought this but didnt really have interest in it. weird. He posted up his Winter Village on FB. It was the recent Toy shop and Winter village plus he has all the large town sets like Grand Emporium, green grocer etc. And he says he doesnt collect legos.
  23. Hey KielDaMan, Thanks for posting these. Im gonna take a look at your ARC Gunship. Now that I have a donor RGS that I can use, I want to make one. Are the pieces, in the LDD file, real existing pieces in actual colors? Like the dark red front guns? Am I to assume that if it exists in LDD then it should exist as a real piece?
  24. So I posted up my outdoor snow ATAT pictures on facebook. My friend commented and asked if I have a SW collection. I told him what I had. Then he says "I have a star wars lego piece I give u next time u here" So im in town now and we met up for dinner. He hands me a partial cannon from the front end of what could be a Republic Gunship or AT-TE. He asks me "do you know what that goes to?" So I said either Republic Gunship or AT-TE I think. He said "ok, well the rest of it is in my car. Im missing some pieces and I dont know where they are" But once he finds them he will send them my way. So I got a free Republic gunship. With minifigs. I already have this RGS but have been wanting to replicate Kieldaman's Arc Gunship. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=45325&st=0&p=793171&fromsearch=1entry793171 Here is the free RGS. Some parts are missing. But who cares right? I now have a relatively decent start on making my own ARC Gunship. Now to analyze Kieldaman's MOC and steal his ideas lol. To be honest, when my friend said "Piece" I thought maybe some loose legos and maybe a minifig or two. Not a RGS!!!
