  1. I don't see it being a huge set. Wasn't the whole point of the submarine that it was super fragile, due to thier innability to work together? I'd see them doing a 'scene' playset, with breakaway features rather than the entire ship. It'd be brilliant if they released the sub though! :D
  2. Nice! Thanks for the update, Oky! It'd be amazing if they did the submarine set! Either way, sad Kitty will be awesome. :D
  3. Aye, so I've heard. Someone suggested airbrushing to me last day. I've no skill for it, but it sounds like the best option. Just a light dusty coat should do the trick. :D
  4. So, there were no other movie sets revealed besides the Batman/Angry Kitty set? I thought we might see more after the panel today. :/
  5. This might be an odd request, but does anyone here know how one might go about accellerating age wear on Lego pieces? I just finished building the Sea Cow sip last day, and while it's a lovely model, I can't help but feel that the pristine white sails on a coal powered vessle seem wildly out of place. I assume that over time they'll yellow, but I was wondering if there was a way to induce that?
  6. I'm not sure why people are so concerned about an exclusive Unikitty? If you *must* have her, she's out there to obtain. Otherwise, Lego has given us several versions already, in readily available sets, with more to come. I understand the idea of completism, but you really have to stand back and check yourself when you find yourself getting upset over a painted brick nearly identical to one you already own (likely multiple times over if you're a fan). Besides. Biznis Kitty owns any other possible version of her. Ever. :D
  7. Thank you so much! I feel like a bit of a twit when it comes to Lego right now. I have no idea what peices exist just yet. I'll get the hang of it in a few months. :D
  8. That's exciting! A Skeletron and a Micro Manager for cheap? I'm stoked for this! :D
  9. Thank you! I knew someone here must have made the necessary adjustments. :D
  10. Quick question: I don't know what that doccument is, or how to open it. I'm super curious to know what bits you used for his third hand cannon though! I'm more or less contented with the figure as he came, with minor tweaks (like the long chain and the lock position), but he really needs that third barrel on his hand, hahaha. Thanks in advance! :D
  11. Thanks guys. :D Is there a place to get assistance with minor mods? I'm wanting to know what pieces/sets I'll need to sort Metalbeard's third hand cannon.
  12. So, I guess this is something I should do? My name's Klint. I live in Montréal, Canada. I'm pretty new to the whole Lego 'collecting' thing. I loved them as a child, but I never caught the bug in adulthood until very recently. I'm traditionally a comics and action figure guy, so the superhero sets slowly drew me in. I think the Catwoman/Batman set (#7779) was my first Lego purchase as an adult, followed several years later by the Superman/Wonder Woman set (#6862), and some of the minifigs (I hunted the Lumberjack minifig because he's based on a friend of mine, hahaha), and most recently the Avengers and X-men stuff. I was more about the minifigs than anything else. Lego Movie kinda changed all of that, hahaha. I'm full obsessed with it all of the sudden. I enjoyed it well enough in the theaters, and purchased a couple of sets. Since getting the Blu-ray it's been a mad dash to get all of it. I think sitting at home an seeing it in your living room kind of demands an 'I could be building that right now' response. Hahaha. I kind of stumbled on this forum while looking for pictorials on the sets I don't have yet (I have nine of them so far, I plan to be caught up by summer's end and then sort all of the 'exclusives'). You guys have an amazing little community here. I don't know how much I can add to discussion, so I'll probably just keep lurking. So, yeah. That's my story. :D
