I do hope so. But yeah, I don't think these sets change that much, probably just the Ignika, maybe some shell colors, different colored spiders and the shell printing. It's good to see they only use said printing on chest and don't ruin other parts.

Well depending on if it's continuation or a reboot. Did Taka get back his color scheme he lost as toa of shadow and light? Or was it just set design decision to give him silver instead of gold to not get over Tahu in marketing?

at least ice protector seems to use a regular looking black gear, so there is a high change of them being used in the torso. Also they didn't make the same mistake as last time, the 2nd pic is named as ...gov0rl.jpg which clearly has nothing to do with anything and confirms that the reveal will indeed be Bionicle. Also, they added gold.

I am seeing the gearbox kinda like this, although I do hope the torso will be constructed from seperate pieces in the future.

CCBS when used alone restricts too much and everything just looks Hero Factory. it's horrible. But when tweaked and added parts from another lines it becomes an awesome construction system.

Pretty much this, I also adore pouches due to their mobility and smaller prices but they are something that doesn't really catch an eye, especially when in most cases they are just stored on the selves and not even hanging from anywhere. It could very well be one of the reason why HF sells werent that good.Yeah it's not hard for me to spot one but think when a kid or his parent come there and try to find heads and tails of the package. They forgot that package is partly advertising itself. I'm looking forward to these cardboard boxes as they seem to be an answer to many said problems. I still feel kinda sad that we will never see Mata Nui robot in a giant sack :D

Reading about Bionicle on other AFOL forums it makes me sad that people say that they are dissapointed if the 4 days reveal will be Bionicle.

Probably just a placeholder for the new mask, but yes, there is a possibility, and if it does it kinda confirms continuation, but Ignika being anything more than a placeholder is very unlikely. Also, why did they remodel Guurahk's harpoon... might just be a palceholder. Kopaka looks like a real bad megablocks as tahu and onua. It's sad to say this but I find Gali the worst, random spikes on feet and not a resemleance enough to the old kaukau.

If the rumours about mask packs/vendors are true it kinda confirms it as a reboot but why would they include a golden mask in the sets then? If the packs do return I think it will have 2 or 3 masks and 1 spider. Also, whatever you are doing Antrozesk, please make a wallpaper out of it.

I might be alone on this boat but for me using famous voice actors and actors too often in general ruin it for me. If there was any immersion to begin with, it's completely gone and drops the enjoyment factor close to zero if I see Johnny Depp, Nicolas Cage etc. I'm just sick of hearing same voices and faces over and over again, no matter how different of makeup. That is one of the main reasons I adored Mata Nui's voice while the rest of the movie was pretty terrible and especially the voice acting. As much as I too love MLP, I wouldn't want to hear those voices in whatever media Bionicle comes next.

Maybe Greg is not working on this new story, but what about Faber? Has he just moved his stuff to Minecraft and his personal project or is he hiding something from us?

While making a reboot would be much easier, a properly made continuation is as easy to screw up as reboot. As selfish as it can be I see a change of them making a continuation, depending on their situation. Greg has said it probably wouldn't be continuation nor said it's reboot. My bet is on a reboot-esque continuation. Having similiar elements and characters on the start and developing it quickly or not towards the characters we "saw" later on, GB etc. and leaving the old story as a weak background. This is what I want from "new" Bionicle, but I can totally see why Lego would want it to be a reboot. I think I should settle in with the idea of a reboot, and others too. As then it can't be a much of a dissapointment from that and if it is continuation I probably go totally crazy over it.

It's funny that it has been uploaded, there's still plenty of time before October, could the NYCC reveal be something other.. and the real reveal this/next week? There's no reason to upload things if you aren't ready to publish it.
