The differnce with Bionicle system was that even if it was not armoured all of it didn't look bareboned. I would like to have piston aesthetic CCBS shells, which would cover the back of the limb. When you turned a hero around it just looked it was screaming: "hit me here, that's where I'm vulnerable!" What makes this even worse is that the bones are usually black and stand out pretty bad...I personally didn't get the same effect from Bionicle. And the worst... the shells leave a gap between bone and the limb doesn't get a "round" feel what Bionicle does. For Bionicle the back was a lot easier to cover up too and didn't meant you have to make the character tens of studs bigger or make it essentially bulkier and usually in cost of playabilty and articulation.

Guys, let's remember the fact that Bonkles are coming back and get done with this Hiker Mike already. I tried to get the Bionicle Heroes quite while ago and people noted that even legal copies didn't work. I really would've like to play it again but at this point it seems kinda impossible. With the heavy marketing next year could there be a change for an actual console/PC game or has Lego said something about not doing those anymore for non system themes (It's kinda strange since there haven't been a big budget Ninjago one yet, only some DS games)?

I personally like more Bionicle construction but I'm very intrested to see where they are going with CCBS, because it holds great potential but the pieces for haven't achieved it yet. Well at least the limbs are more than just one piece so we don't have to see abominitions like... http://www.majhost.c...nContd/back.jpg and http://img4.wikia.no...Lucas_Valor.png I still don't understand how and why this... http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120528225303/lego/images/3/3d/Sand_Stalker.png looks like what it is. It's like 3/4 of pieces were never used from Fero & Skirmix and Malum. And it was only combiner in 2009.

The least I like is the Fire Defender, the color-scheme is just really generic feeling, pretty dull weapons and equipment compared to others. Ice one just looks ridiculous and Jungle one could be cool if the weapon wasn't... crossbow minigun. My favourite could be Earth thanks to it's purple mace and other design decisions along with Water and Stone.

Am I not allowed to embed pics here? Or was it just mistaken as a "new leak" because it was cropped and tilted (if that is the right word) version of the pic we have been said is free to post. I didn't know I was this proffesional. The mask featured on the top is the strangest thing in my opinion, since it doesn't share any aesthetics of Bionicle nor Hero Factory. It's has to be something personal for Great Beings.

Well that's possible.Also, am I just seeing things? EDIT: by looking closer, Gali's shoulder armor is used as torso armour on defenders. Same for Tahu's shoulders.

LOSS head is made of pincers and face of Black Phantom chestplate with eye printing. I think the mask will attach to it's back.

If it would be smaller his head would be under the upper chest armor. I'm on the boat that it's not the firelord one either but something between and by the looks of it completely new model that however follows CCBS

My Eyes catched Brotherhood of Makuta in 2005 Hagaha comic when the toa stole... was it Mask of Light if I remeber correctly? WTF it was even doing there?

It had never been that way before 2008 or after so why would it back then? As said there is a mask for flying that is Kadin, which is kinda ridiculous as it was used by an toa of earth.

The reason you want it is not nostalgia as you said, the reason is that you want to experience something like we did back in the days because many people have pointed out their favourite time was 01-03 and probably dropped off the series after that.

I won't say it looks just evil... it looks humanoid. nose and everything, could very well be misunderstood as a tribal mask people use... It however is a special mask, toa are maybe more humanoid creatures this time or Great Beings actually resemble more of a human, rather than toa or glatorian.

Do you guys think this is all sets for winter wave? There were those blurry photos which show'd some titans. Even if they aren't real I'm pretty sure there could be at least one special set on the way.

"Orangish shells" sure would fit Lewa but I don't get it since it seems all others are using gold. It could also be that all the gold we see actually is orange... which won't make much sense if it isn't treated as "gold" in story. I believe the orange you see on Lewa is just gold.
