Do you think some of the pieces they made for Invasion from below were actually designed first Bionicle in mind? like those legs, they seem very un-HF to me.

The pic definetly shows the head is built from two... no three different pieces. You can see the red axle on the other pic. Good lord I missed this much of use of techinc in constraction more than I remembered. I'm probably going to burst soon.

Still not yet clear pics of Onua... oh well. He does seem a little less dissapointing in this one. I'm actually eager to see how much better the design is. shovel hands was my guess too.

Well the new video indicates that the mask will be in a crack and there will purple light rather than blue.. umm... If it even is a crack or the light is from stand. Really nothing more to say thatt the writing is intentionally also backwards and could mean that the text on mask means nothing and is there just for an easthetic purpose. It's really hard to get heads and tails of what's happening in the video rather than giving unsatisfying teasers to make mad to wait for NYCC.

Yeah, MoL and the other two definetly had the best style. However we are probably going to see a style similiar to Hero Factory and TLR. If the writing is good as NinjaGO I might be pretty okay with it. From all the leaks and stuff we have got gives me a feeling that they are doing a little more mature approach than Hero Factory, kudos the whole skullspiders thing for example.

Pffft. I really hope LOSS indeed features the new gearbox, othervise it uses some sick tricks because this what I did shatters easier than a real spider.

A Mata Nui as toy to represent primarly it's form not size would be absolutely nice and I believe could be produced under 50 dollars, it should include concept art and stuff and size difference to the "real" one. Also, changeable eyes. I t wouldn really need more than some recolours and a new mold for head pieces.

If the budget would have allowed for different masks for the defenders I think it's highly possible we could have got mask packs. But wasn't there still some talk about a vendor of some sort? Is there a change there might be mask packs?

Didn't they got the adaptive armor after they were captured by Piraka? their appearance now wouldn't make sense. Also the current universe had nothing to explore in Lego's and Greg's opinion. If they however design to just cut out of the story made after 2010 they could just send Toa to somewhere new. But it's highly unlikely especially when the serials were highly noted in the document given to retailers. I'm more annoyed by the fact that the toa/masters look now like their power level is over 9000. Not like they are just starting things from tribal village to smash some bugs. It's hard to think them as younger characters since they look so much more older and experienced now. And... Tahu and Pohatu now have eybrows.

Lord doesn't sound that feminine but could there be a change that LOSS is a female and rather the queen name was just dropped because of the latest enemy in construction being one? If these things act anyhting like insects it should be.

The theme is not meant to be reintroduced only little kids in mind, nor do us. It's being intorduced as what it was back in 2001 and made it succesful and will grow on from that. I'm okay with tribal start but hope we will get to know about the universe around Otoko and the planet, or whatever a little sooner. Dudes in cloaks and only creating in mind is not enough for me of the GBs. It's like... you think you are about to see the God right after your death and there's nothing. It just stops.

The reason why Bionicle went downhill was because they tried to explain nearly everything. I'm fine with magic. Magic is just a word for science you can't yet explain. eg. Masters think that the mask is forged from magic rather than ancient unknown technology used by... Great Beings?

It doesn't have to be an universe nor a robot, of course it might be not but it was more of a joke. Whatever the next big thing is will be fun to speculate but I do hope we don't find too soon. This time we know it has something to do with Otoko and will be given little hints. Back in the days we didn't know what they could even hint for. Ihu (nose) for example was pretty obvious and so were the two suns. But we didn't know they even were referring to something.

The text screams a hard reboot but still doesn's confirm it. Oh well, there can always be a reason why they go to Otoko after 2010 (but it's damn unlikely). Only 5 sets on summer feels very odd, almost like they believe Bionicle couldn't carry a second year... which would be stupid since much was invested to bring it back. Other than that, I have to get some candles and prepare to worship great spirit Otoko and accept the fact that bonkleoverlords from Lego gave us a hard reboot.

Yeah, it isn't that great mockup and I thought hordika necks had been discontinued. But my main conscern is still there. His nearly as width as he's tall. I have always hated width shoulders in Bionicle and this takes it to extreme. It's Bionicle, yes they are not humans. But the proprtions of most masters are more human than ever before and they aren't too width. Then there's Onua who's twice as width as others.

Oh so I'm not alone, the chestplate eyes are a little goofy but I think the set will rock in therms of playabilty, I really hope it has something to do with legs and not back due to techinc pieces being there just give it stability. It either has a function that it will throw spiders with it's back or the legs will move. As a set I think it's great at least as partspack has playabilty, not that much special pieces though and lore vise the name is just awful. But I do like the set.

The more I look at Onua the more dissapointed I am. I just... He's mask is great. And that's basicly all. The new part intorduced him is cool but why so much silver on an already black, purple and gold character. The color scheme is a mess. If i see it right the shoulders could be called an abomination both in design and playabilty with the gears. It's nice to see HF shell armors used but I never have liked the giant enormous chestplate introduced in Stormer XL. I would even say that Chi Gorzan is better looking set than Onua. http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/70202-1.jpg. I really hope the final set fixes some of the colouring problems at least. Thou it would seem that the enormous chest is going to stay.

Lewa can have swords and Onua can make his hammer a club and have shovels on both hands. In case the pads have an other connection too. Really it's nice to see we are getting axle pieces back more and more and have more of techinc in build. That is one of the main reasons I adore Bionicle over most of Hero Factory and why I might be the only one actually wanting LOSS.
