Pretzel - we didn't talk too terribly much, but good questing with you as well." He handed the gear he'd borrowed back to Pretzel. He nodded after Calamity. "Can I have my gems back? Thank you..." He shoved them into his Bag of Holding. "Well, as I said, good questing, everyone, thank you Gabriel, and happy birthday, Masson!" The Black Knight nodded to everyone, handed out any gear he'd forgotten to return, took back any he'd lent and forgotten, and quietly set off into the cool crisp Eubric night air for the Hall.

"The Ji Pei are with us, yes, but I'm not with them.Technological advancement is something that will always be needed - but not at this break-neck speed. Look around us - there are no rules, no regulation. Automatons terrorize the streets, the Ji Pei build whatever they imagine, irregardless of the possible dangers - We need to band together, and elect a leader who understands both the dangers, and the benefits of technology, and who is capable of acting accordingly." He looked away, towards the center of Eubric. "And even more importantly, someone who is capable of stepping down, when the time comes. We've formed this Union to create a better city - not to create some new dynasty." He turned back to Jinnipher. "You should really stop by. You're a very opinionated person - but you're also a person of very strong will. We could use more people like that in the Union."

"Well, I should probably be moving along, then - I managed to scrounge up a brief pass to the Arena, but it's time-limited."He saluted again, turned around to go, but then turned around a second time, and nodded. "Oh - there's also likely to be some debating going on soon in the Crescent Union hall - all of you are welcome to come and look on. Future of Eubric, and all-such. And I would go, and put my name on the ballet..." OoC: Thanks for having us, Endgame! It's been an interesting ride, but a fun one!

    True...But with Natural Respite, I'm missing a good chest-piece...But Natural Respite would be replaced, since it replaces all job traits...Hmm... ...Darn it, Flipz, I'm starting to really fall in love with that idea. One last question/thought - I'm not really sure if "politician" is an acceptable/specific enough "barred-from," just in general. Technically, everyone participating in the Clash is a politician in the stricter sense of the word... And at least a good half of our characters have become entangled in/dealt with Olegian politics at one time or another...

    Agreed. What if instead Dragoons were specifically from carrying it, so as to avoid that? Because banning shield-bearing classes means that I'd have to basically have re-train (again...) as an Assassin. Which I suppose could be worse, but all of my good weapons are only for shield-bearing classes.

    It's kind of hilarious how (nearly) everyone in the Clash of Houses is voting for themselves to be king. Anyone think we should rename it: HEROICA: AT EUBRIC'S END?

    There's a Japanese website that I need a page translated off of. I've tried Google, but it's only resulting in "Google-Speak," If there's anyone on Eurobricks who can read kanji, and wouldn't mind translating one of the pages for me, I would appreciate your PMing me. As for payment(due to the fact that it's a longer page, and a bit beyond the 'brief favor' mark), I'm a bit broke, but I could likely whip you up a nice sig-fig render in Blender*, or something like that, in return. We can just hire Flavius to make a weapon."He looked towards Gabriel and the rest of the party. "Does that sound like it would be satisfactory for all concerned parties?"

    Lind caught the gold."You made the right choice, Gabriel." Lind carefully dropped the coins into his Bag of Holding."Well, the quest description and requirements simply said that you "needed a gift, from a seller in the Eubric mountains." So just as long as we do that, then we've completed it. And I think I've got just the ticket." He held up the 200 gold. "If we split this up, it's not going to go terribly far between four people. But, if we spend it at Flavius's, we can embue a low-power weapon with something useful - thus getting you a gift, and keeping our records nice and tidy." He looked around. "Anyone have a low-power weapon they don't need?" Lind hugged the creature's leg. "I hope we meet again, someday." He felt a strange attachment to the timid creature. "No, he plays a guitar - and quite well, too."

Lind's honest reaction is, "Well, I hired on to get the Leaf for Gabriel, so I don't want to violate that contract, but there's nothing preventing me from afterwards going off on a wild Leaf chase with Flame Head Guy for more Leaf."I don't want to give Endgame too much of a headache, but neither do I want to break character...

    Presumptuous is a bit strong. If Endgame was a newbie QM, it would be appropriate, but he isn't - Endgame's been one of the most active, and most-loved QMs of the entire game.
