  1. Excellent ships!!! I like the "little" one the most!!
  2. Thanks for all the positive feedback! I take pictures with my iPhone 5c and run them through some Flickr things (warmth, sharpness, contrast, frame and focus), other than that I do no editing at all, so I am glad you guys like it so much!
  3. You're right, I have the same on mobile. Strange! I'll see if I can fix it.

  5. Deep within the jungle lives a shaman that goes by the name of Green Leaf. Travellers from afar come to him, because it is said Green Leaf can make dreams. He can make you see things that are not. He can take you on a trip while you stay still. Many people want to go on this trip. Not many people know Green Leaf is also known, among certain circles, as the Secret Taker. And among those circles it is rumored the Secret Taker is a man of great wealth.
  6. Oh no! Eshey is taken over by aliens. It must be!
  7. Thanks a lot for all the positive comments! I am glad you guys like it. The green turban is from the new CMF series. I like it a lot as well, the trousers that come with the minifig are also very cool, with the typical Arabic shoes.
  8. Gooooo Lil'Longlegs!!
  9. David Beau Lune's background: As David enters Breshaun he feels like luck is on his side, he feels good and vaguely at home. He finally arrived at the town the girl of his dreams is supposed to live. At least according to an innkeeper in New Oleon. Eager to find her he wanders around the port thinking about where to start his search. "Is this the end of my journey?" he wonders out loud. "Orrr the beginning of an *hic* adventurre?"; a drunkard said. Allthough the guy was clearly the most drunk person David had ever seen, what the man said sparked something in David. Cheerful her replied: "Or the beginning of an adventure indeed, good sir." The guy didn't even seem to hear or understand him and continued on his not so steady way. David, tired from the journey, decided it was time to get some rest in an inn. Further down the road he saw a soldier standing, he surely must know where to find an inn, David thought. "Excuse me sir, can I ask you something?" The soldier turned around, his serious look turned into a smile in the blink of an eye. The soldier looked like a young lad, younger than David, younger than he had expected. "Ofcourse sir." The soldier said. "I just arrived here in Breshaun and I am looking for a good inn to get some rest, do you know of a good place?" David asked. "Sure, I'll walk with you sir, it is just around the corner from here." "Thank you very much! My name's David by the way, nice to meet you." David extended his hand. The soldier took the shake: "The name's Avery sir, Avery la Jambe-Longue." --- This is my first build in this time of age. Quite the change from Star Wars and sci-fi, but I'm glad the way it turned out. C&C appreciated! Bonus pics:
  10. Yes, I made the pictures in the front yard with a black photo cardboard sheet against the front door with just the sun as my light. I edited the focus and made the colors a little more vibrant, but the rest is natural. I really liked the end result as well, all with a mobile phone camera.
  11. This is awesome!!!
  12. David grew up in the Middle Kingdoms. Together with his parents, little brother and two older sisters he lived on a farm. His parents were not from the Middle Kingdoms. They both were born in the Empire of Oleon, hence their Oleonish family name Beau Lune. His parents worked on a farm in Oleon, they didn't have much to come by. Part of the reason was David's father wasn't a believer and people knew and those people did not approve. Because of this his parents often got harassed in the village when they went there for trading. His father even got beaten up once. His parents believed the Order was behind it, but they were not sure. When David's mother got pregnant from his oldest sister his parents decided to move to another land, to live in peace. After a long journey David's parents found an abandoned farm in the north of the Middle Kingdoms. His father fixed it up with the help of some of the local people. A pregnant woman has its benefits if you are looking for help. They did not have much, but they were happy. Soon his oldest sister was born, then another sister, then David and then his little brother. David had a fairly normal childhood, even though he had to help on his family's farm at a young age. He learned a lot about working the land and growing crops, taking care of the farm animals and even brewing beer. One day, at the age of 16, David was was sowing corn seeds, when a coach passed the farm. It was a beautiful white coach with blue and gold accents. The coach stopped before their lawn and the passengers came out. David's father had seen the coach as well and called out to David to go inside, his sisters were running to the house as well and David saw his mother looking through the curtains of the kitchen. She had some kind of fear in her eyes. David, having learned to obey his father at any time, made his way to the house. Just before he entered he looked behind and saw his father talking to the strangers. David moved inside, but suddenly froze... Did he...? He turned around again and looked very careful. Yes, he did. Behind the back wheel of the coach he saw a girl looking at him through the spokes. The girl, about David's age, had long blond hair, was dressed in a blue dress and looked beautiful. She seemed startled he saw her and quickly jumped inside the coach again. David tried to get another glimpse of her as the coach got moving again, but with no luck. That moment never left David, not only because from that day on they were the Cornage family and Beau Lune was never to be mentioned again, but because of that girl. That girl never left David's head, every day he thought of her. The thought grew bigger and bigger until at one night, two years later, David decided to go look for this girl. He knew his father would not approve so he sneaked out in the middle of the night. At least he tried to. His mother was waiting for him when he came down the stairs, of course his mother knew. After saying goodbye to his mother he went on his way. First stop was the inn in the nearby village. There he found the first clue. As David enters Breshaun he feels like luck is on his side, he feels good and vaguely at home. He finally arrived at the town the girl of his dreams is supposed to live. At least according to an innkeeper in New Oleon. Eager to find her he wanders around the port thinking about where to start his search. "Is this the end of my journey?" he wonders out loud.
  13. Can a mod add R03 to the title? Thanks!
  14. Jix, an Ugnaught, has been living on Felucia since Zaael and his team freed him from his slavers. He had been working as a slave in a mine on Kessel for a crime lord that had ties with the Empire. After years and years of hard labor and sour circumstances, in a lost moment, Jix found a transponder. He was looking for some equipment to repair his mining drill in the office of his boss, Kar’ta. There it was, just lying around. Without a thought he took the transponder and send out a message. Zaael and his crew were just passing by Kessel, on a “trade” mission, when they received the message. After much debate where especially Bill and Fe’ya were against Zaael’s plan to save Jix and the other slaves and put a dent in the Empire’s supplies, the rebels freed the slaves and put a heavy blow (and many explosions, courtesy of Bill) to the Empire. Having nowhere else to go Jix joined the rebel crew for a while. He and Bill learned a lot from each other, as it turned out Jix was a nifty engineer. Jix proved to be a valuable member to the team and he and Zaael became true friends. After a while though, Jix felt the need to live a more peaceful life without the danger and action. He liked the jungle feel of Felucia and it gave him a true feeling of freedom, so he settled there. Zaael hadn’t heard from his old friend ever since, until now. Zaael: Jix, old friend! It is good to see you! Jix: Hah! Are those watery eyes I see? Zaael: It’s the humidity of this hump of clay. Jix: Ah of course… Ghehehe. Zaael: How are you? That’s a nice cabin you have there. Jix: Yes, thanks, it is! I am doing great friend. I like it a lot here. I have made friends with the locals, grow my own food and, most importantly, don’t have to be scared of losing my life to one of Bill’s gadgets. Zaael: Haha, I can imagine. Bill gave me this and told me to give it to you. You might want to be careful with it, he told me not to drop it as well. Jix: Oh no! Haha, this is an inside joke. It does not explode for sure. We used this to fool a band of Stormtroopers on Corellia. They bought it, thinking they were real, and we made a good profit. Zaael: All I do remember is we had a great dinner. You and Bill treated us, I never understood why, but now I get it. Jix: Haha, yeah! Zaael: As much as I’d like to talk to you about the old days, I came here with a mission. You had some intel for me? Jix: Yes, as I told you, I made friends with the Felucian village not too far from here. When I was there a few days ago I saw a shady figure moving about there. I saw her face for a nanosecond. She saw me too and seemed startled. Not long after I saw a ship leaving the planet. It appears she was hiding or living close by the village and she was getting supplies. One of the Felucians found the stuff she left behind and gave it to me. Zaael: Interesting, this is some valuable stuff indeed! Jix: I thought so too, that’s why I responded to your message. It is some high tech stuff, might even be Imperial. Zaael: Thank you Jix. The Rebellion and me are, once again, very grateful for your help. Jix: It’s nothing, everything I can do to repay you for my freedom is something. I still owe you a lot! Zaael: Hah, no you don’t. You’ve got yourself to thank for your freedom. Jix: Ever the humble person my friend. Zaael: I’ll be off to get these goods to the right people. Thank you again old friend. Till next we meet. Jix: Be safe and may the force be with you. --- Overview of the build: The Forseti prototype starfighter: C&C is much appreciated!
  15. Cool build Prof!! I really like the rotating wheels! Very scifi looking race car!! You might wanna try to zoom out a little when taking the pictures so the whole model is on them.
  16. Thanks guys!
  17. Great conclusion (just finished reading the whole saga again). I wonder if we'll see more of the Oni-Ren or the queen in the future. Again, sorry for your loss. All the strength to you and your family!
  18. The OC.21 range of Octan Corp spaceships is known for its exclusive looks and aggressive feel. Only affordable to the wealthy its rarely seen and when it shows up, it turns heads. The R-type in particular has the strongest OC production engines available, which gives it not only a lot of "potential" to the wealthy executives, but its power and speed is so top notch even G.A.R.C. racers fight for it. OC saw the potential early and founded their own team. Max Verbricks is their primary driver. Max Verbricks in his OC.21 R-type Max Verbricks in his OC.21 R-type again Aaaaand another flyby
  19. I've been at it yesterday evening as well. I used the sides of a sticker sheet as well (the white parts and the edge of the actual sticker and the sheet (to get a nice black stripe)), this is allowed right? It's from an official Lego sticker sheet.
  20. "Introducing: The Wrestler" "Build by Zaael when he was a kid to bully back the bullies. More than succesful at that... *ahem*, Zaael and The Wrestler entered the underground wrestling circuit back on Earth at the age of 12. His parents didn't approve, Zaael didn't care, they weren't around much anyway!" "Now this lean, mean fighting machine enters the Space Olympics and oh boy! His opponents should be afraid, I know Zaael's bullies were... *ahem*." Size limit: More pics:
  21. Oh dear! At least in this universe you sigfig isn't walking around naked (yet). Welcome! Great intro, I really like the forced perspective and the faces of the crazy squad. :-)
  22. Cool ship! I like the colors and the engines most! Also the whole scene tells a great story.
