  1. Seeing the ever-growing number of sets and licences I don't think that's the case. And, it's always in the top 5 best selling themes for a while.
  2. Sorry, I miscalculated the Bolide :D What I wanted to mean are the sizes of 42093, 42004, pullbacks, sets like them. So not as big in piece count like the Bolide, but around 200-300 pieces.
  3. I think it's high time to get some Technic-related GWP sets, as it's quite common at System themes, but not at Technic! For instance, a Bugatti Bolide sized car could be companied with next year's UCS car, even the same model. Or an unrelated machinery, but still something.
  4. I imagine it being in the scale of 1:5 motorbikes, just seeing the narrow wheels. They wouldn't have to make another wheel and tire parts in a new scale, only the pattern must change. And, as you said, it really is a simple structure, so I can see bigger parts being used in the whole set.
  5. Finally! I hope it means there is hope for a Shuttle in the coming years, too..!
  6. Seeing the revealed Dune Ornithopter we'll get some new helicopter blades
  7. Me too. A properly sized (in the scale of 8069 or bigger) backhoe is loooong overdue.
  8. I think Lego could use axles/pins in black, lbg, dbg and white. And some cases tan, so they would operate with a more sophisticated colour-coding system if they wanted to. Not sure if that would mean any disadvantages in the building experience, but at least this SHOULD be the standard at 18+ sets.
  9. Hi, Yes, there is, it's called Steindrucker. Here's their website: Lego Steindrucker / Marketing Bausteine
  10. Though it might belong to wishlisting, I still would like to see a bicolored supercar, or with similar colour accents to the Peugeot 9x8. And aside from the gearbox presumably with the new parts, a convertible one would be a novelty. I can't recall a set this type since 2014's 42022 Hot rod.
  11. I would be really happy with this choice. If only TLG would give us more colours in Technic line...we lack quite a few. Also, I would imagine the Valkyre in teal instead of dark green, as we had that in 42117.
  12. I like the inclusion of an orrery, but two things crossed my mind: will we get new gears with that, and how the gears will be colored? Will they use the black 16t from the Pac-Man set and recolor some to be monochrome or will it be a colorful gears of war?
  13. Having just built it I assume the motors are attached directly to the reels so as not to have any gear-skipping and to have enough power and precisity. I wouldn't use any gear in the superstructure, either. As for accuracy, it's true they didn't went for longer boom and luffing jib, and they could just leave the licence off of it. Though playing with the set is a joy and the pure massiveness is amazing. I think it's a good compromise between rigidity and playability as a proportionate one would either be even weaker or unreasonably big.
  14. I think it's either a 1:10 car or a 1:5 bike.
  15. Is there any space-related anniversary next year for this amount of space-based sets?
  16. I'm curious if we ever get some insights or designer interview to get some answers concerning the shortcomings.
  17. I have a feeling that it's a "tester" set as how it performs not only in pricing but in functionality/stability, too, as we can see it could easily have thrice the amount of weights. And, of course, it's just a matter of time now to see an official Technic tower crane.
  18. Can someone enlighten me please? I still don't have any clue about having a very close review embargo date to the release date, as I would think the more time between the review and release, the more people could consider buying it despite the possible faults (and price) of the set. Yes, these two can decimate the purchases but if the reviewers' opinions are overall positive, it can also multiply to a certain point.
  19. I'd rather have a proper backhoe loader, instead. Yellow, yellow, but still. Either Volvo (as in every even numbered year there is one) or better, a JCB
  20. Apart from the above mentioned things, I'm curious where will the new parts be used again
  21. Shouldn't they just release a small differential for these scaled cars? Than it would be easier
  22. I have a feeling the boom will/can be extendable easily, either out of the box or after buying some parts, as in one of the pictures when the red 5x7 frames are visible, they are held just by 4 3L pins with bushes.. a similar method like in 42042
  23. Yes, but it still can be an indicator of an upcoming recolored version of the blue ones. Which, obviously, would be a welcomed step.
  24. Maybe it's a sign of changing to more monochrome pieces from blue pins (with axle)
