  1. Of those characters you mentioned, correct me if I'm wrong, but they never appeared in the movies. So, why would TLG make them in PT style? Exactly. They look like their tv show counterparts. So until that changes, you're out of luck. It's like I mentioned in the fleshy discussion. The reason why theres so little in the way of other fleshtones in the Licensed themes is the lack of other neccessary characters in other flesh tones.
  2. After consulting brickset to see what came from TCW over the years and to check if the set I was thinking fell into that category or was apart of Ep. II. Much thought and a little Ro-Shab-Bo, I ended up at the magnificent and Oh So expensive 10195 Republic Dropship AT-OT Walker. It's the biggest set in my collection, comes with an abundance of figs. I liked this set so much, I bought 2. There were a lot on the runner up list, however. TCW has spawned some great vehicles and sets.
  3. Wow, that is a brilliant GE. I love how you kept it a corner building, but completely reworked the shape. The addition on the roof also is a great idea. You really have great building skill. I eagerly await your next two buildings. I spy a butcher.
  4. Is there some type of base in the works? I suppose a full HQ would be too hard, maybe an outpost. Your vehicle designs are great. I was thinking you could make a modular HQ. Have a hangar, barracks, command and whatever else as individual sets that connect to make a bigger base.
  5. Wow! I love it. I love how you added parts from the sets in there along with your creative genius! Very funny and clever creation. All the different stations are great.
  6. Yes. This is a very impressive build. While there may not be any new or ingenious techniques, it's not necessary in a castle. Your towers are nice and the village buildings are good as well. The stream is a nice break in the green/brown landscape. I like the little break ups in the landscape-the plants, garden, trees, the dirt area around the houses mixed with a touch of grey. Great job and I look forward to your second MOC.
  7. It would've been quite a sight to behold there... I can definitely see how addicting that wall can be. The last time I was there I got just a small cup full of flower stems. The ride home I was regretting not getting a large cup and/or sucking the flower stems compartment dry.
  8. Well, that blame falls on the movies the license is for. Star Wars, Batman, Avengers, Harry Potter. Just to name a few, the main bulk of the actors are white, except a few characters(Lando & Mace, Fury, Shacklebolt).
  9. Neat videos, but the guy making them does t seem very knowledgeable about LEGO. Maybe he has a kid into LEGO and he's just doing the videos for fun. But, I found it amusing he identified the Maersk train worker as a generic City fig and didn't get excited about the rare Maersk Blue hard hat. But, complaining about not getting a full minifig to employees...really? You're getting A LOT of pieces for $8 and you're complaining?! Ugh...you really never can please everybody.
  10. Well, for a purist custom, it's pretty good. The whips aren't bad...but they're not good. I was thinking maybe one of those flex tubes, but they'd stick up instead of drag on the ground. Hmm... I'll have to think about this.
  11. Wow Mrlegoninja...wow. And you say WE(army builders) need a life? You're the one making a stink over someone that you will never meet is doing with their own money. The figs are available to everyone. Whether it be at a store, online, eBay or bricklink. And, what's wrong with displaying ones LEGO? I don't play with my LEGO, I build and display it. Army building is just another aspect of collecting. What's the difference in collecting one of each CMF or 16 of one? None. I recently got into army building(see signature). I like the Attack of the Clones movie, and the clones figure and the variety, so I collect clones. I think you're making too big of a deal of this...
  12. I don't think this will be happening. This is basically an advertisement for the 2012 Olympics in London. Since theres no handicapped Olympians, I don't think they'd make the figs.
  13. WOW! Amazing building. All the little details are great. The window trimming, the blue spires on the roof. The sheer size is impressive on it's own. Then all the details, wow.
  14. I saw clown noses too. That headset is awesome! I'd love to see that be made real, very cool. Although, then you couldn't put anything else on his head, beit hair or a hat.
  15. Pretty impressive display there, Legoman. I like that General Grievous statue. I'm keeping my eyes on eBay looking for a deal.
  16. I have to ask...do you own such a set?
  17. It's pictures like this that make me say, "Thank God"! I'm not a MOCer and go crazy buying pieces. Now, that is quite a haul and clearly you have good LEGO taste. What's in the BAM case?
  18. Simple, yet perfect.
  19. Well, the colors may not be exact. You could always paint them, your best bet is going with the sleepy kid from CMF series and an Exo Force hair.
  20. TRU(I'm sure Target and Wal-Mart too) online typically have exclusives too. Getting it with a BOGO offer, which TRU does often enough, is the way to go.
  21. I used a hook and fishing line to hang up my airplane from the recent airport set. I just looped it under the wings and towards the nose to balance it out. Fishing line is ideal since it's not easy to see.
  22. Another great work. My minor gripe would be that Carbonite would be better in dark grey, wouldn't it? Of course, if you only had that torso in black, I get it. I think you captured Boushh perfectly.
  23. They're both great sets. Both vehicles are pretty nice. The figs in 6866 are all exclusive. In 6867 on Ironman(in a way) is exclusive. Ironman really is a cool fig once you get him in your hands. Like meyerc13 said, it depends on which you're a fan of more, Avengers or X-Men. They both have decent playability, if you're into that kind of thing... I don't know, it's a tough choice, I'd say get both as they're both fairly inexpensive.
  24. Saw Lockout Tuesday. Pretty good movie. Interesting concept in the movie. Guy Pearce was sarcastically funny pretty much the whole movie. The action was fairly decent as well, a few tense, but predictable moments.
  25. Just chiming in! I saw you didn't have any comments, so here you go!
