  1. That's a great looking bike, well built. I like the flames on it. Johnny Blaze looks pretty good too, nice piece usage.
  2. Great build. I would buy it. It looks like a fun build and certainly would be playable for the kids(or home alone AFOLs ).
  3. Well, of course LotR will bring in more money, it costs more than Friends. I'm sure that LotR will also be more popular, especially among young boys. It already had a fan base when TLG announced it. I don't think this is a very fair fight.
  4. When I clicked and waited for this to load, I was thinking 9474 Helms Deep at $30 mark up was bad... You win.
  5. Starcraft would be AWESOME! It would fit well with the way they handle SW, vehicles. I would definitely buy everything they put out.
  6. I concur. LEGO didn't rely on already popular media to drive the sales...and story of a theme. Add to what you mentioned, M-Tron, Space Police, all the great castles we got. It was all LEGO back then. I ate everything up back then. So, like early to mid 90's for me.
  7. I checked a regular red 2x4 and a 1x6 dark red from 9467 and they're both translucent just like the brick(s) in question. This may add more fuel to the naysayers fire, but maybe this is more normal than we think. Perhaps it's due to a change in plastic or dye. It could really be any number of things. Even, yes, quality control issue. Whatever the case may be, the bricks are still just as they always are. Leg Godt.
  8. Saw Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It was pretty good. It was a good slasher movie, the deaths he dealt were pretty awesome.
  9. That castle is really coming along. It looks to be an interesting shape... You certainly have dedication.
  10. Very cool! I especially like those engine shots with the lights. Nice effect. Great details and greebling. And that size...
  11. Heh. I like the Batski borrowing the boathouse.
  12. Nice title.
  13. Ooooh! I want those fence pieces too, nice find!
  14. I'm looking forward to England and Italy tomorrow. I don't have a favorite, I just want an exciting game.
  15. I recommend you go over to the Community part and read the 'bought in secret' thread. There's a wealth of knowledge on buying/hiding from your wife. And, of course, LEGO stole my wallet too...
  16. Welcome! I am fascinated by good graffitti. It's amazing what people do with spray cans. I second seeing yours.
  17. 3300003 is more elusive than Bigfoot. I guess I may have to bit the bullet and eBay it...
  18. How does the store fit with 10230 Mini Modulars?
  19. It's nice to see they're fondly doing the hair/hat combo. Good move TLG! Now you need to integrate it into all themes.
  20. Ooh, I'm getting excited. Maybe it's a ski lodge? The furnishings will be a couch and some chairs. A table with hot chocolate and a fireplace.
  21. Nice truck. You have quite a knack for building cars, and it's evident here. The details and features you put in tis model are all spot on. The working hood is definitely a nice touch. If you tiled the top of the trailer so the studs weren't showing, it would look like a plastic model kit.
  22. Watch Cartoon Network. I watch the new Thundercats and there's always LEGO commercials.
  23. This. While a Big Bang Theory theme would be AWESOME, it's most likely for the new rumored Polar/Arctic theme. Good find, nonetheless.
  24. Very impressive build. The stonework is incredible, as is the whole build. I Like the surrounding cave you did, it frames the tomb well.
  25. Nice takeover of the china cabinet. OT: what are those little Avengers in front of the Quinjet box?
