Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26
Vindicare replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That's all kinds of amazing! That castle looks awesome already, all the colors and different shapes integrated in...wow. -
Astromech Workplace Contest: Droids Building Droids
Vindicare replied to ACPin's topic in Watto's Junkyard
I completely spaced on checking this contest. This is a great entry. It's so fun and busy seeing all the pieces to the droid puzzle and him taking shape. The double decker assembly line is great as well. This is going to be hard to beat. -
Not bought today, but on it's way to me...a full set of Olympic figs!
-
That's a fun picture and a neat perspective on the overall build. Really cool.

MOC: Mini Modular Galaxy Diner and Empire Theater
Vindicare replied to sonicstarlight's topic in LEGO Town
Awesome! Are you sure you don't have a shrink ray? Because it looks exactly like it's larger counterpart. That looks great next to 10230. -
Very cool! I love the ride, the character is humorous with the look on his face. The little planes are great too. Which hair is on the S4 skater? It looks like the S6 Mechanic, but I'm guessing it's the Olympic Archer?

That's a great looking Ferrari-esque car. It has some nice lines and details. Looks to be an F430 Spyder to me.
-
This is excellent! I LOVE that Ferrari sign( !), killer job on that. It's perfect. I like the added back door to actually be able to physically drive the car out. The dealership facade looks great and realistic with the all window front so you can see the big ticket car(s) on the inside. But, in favor of an inner showroom, I would've rather seen a few desks to make the sales at.

There's something I haven't seen here yet, a space town layout. Very cool! I like the meddling of the City and Space Police 3 stations.
-
That is great! The way you presented it was very fun. The layout and build of everything is top notch. The Aquapod is very clever and fun looking. Nice color combo.
-
Now that's a good idea! There's some great fence ideas floating around in a thread here. All you'd need would be swap in a few of the 1x2 technic pieces and you're set.

Welcome back Oky! All very funny.

Do you buy 1 set to play with and 1 to keep sealed?
Vindicare replied to thegurumb's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I rarely buy multiples of sets, except battle packs. I would rather spend my money on stuff I don't have than repeats. Even if I could afford to, I still don't think I would. I would buy more of the same set, like the Creator houses, I'd love to buy 3 so I can have one of each model. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Vindicare replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just because were fans of LEGO doesn't mean we all like everything they put out... I do like the model, but I don't spend that much on a set unless I really like it. In this case, I don't. If it were the same price as 10225 R2-D2, I'd probably buy it. Take 10195, for example. Even without the minifigs, it still has(in my opinion) 1 great model(LAAT/c) and 1 good model(AT-OT)for $250. -
If you want the Riddler, just buy 6857 Jokers Funhouse and you'll get a cool Riddler fig.
-
I'd go with 4184 Black Pearl. Has 3 great exclusive figs, one being the awesome Davy Jones. Iconic ship, can't speak on the build because mine is still in it's box.
-
Ooh, I'm jealous of that Davy Jones fig. I have 4184 Black Pearl, but he's still in his plastic baggy grave...

The web shooters were way better in this. At least he actually made them and they didn't shoot out of his wrists. I saw it today. I really enjoyed it more than the previous ones. I like Garfield(so far) better than Maguire. And you can't go wrong with Emma Stone. I didn't really like that there were so many differences from the first one, say, in the way he got his powers, or how Uncle Ben died. I get they don't really want to tell the same story over again... But, they could've kept it closer. I like his Spidey suit in this one. Clone'O, I thought the serum Connors took enhanced the Lizard instead of suppressing it like I knew it to be. I remembered him taking serum to nullify the effects of the Lizard. It seemed like whenever he would stick himself, he'd collapse and turn into the Lizard. The Lizard did look pretty kick a** in the movie though.

I'll be watching it on G4. So, if you see a G4 camera crew, hold up a sign with a LEGO brick and your name! I've always wanted to go, just never had a good opportunity when tye time finally came.

Yes, details! You can't go posting a picture like that and not give any info.

Wow ~~~~ I see an alien ! =(*o*)=

Great sculptures once again! The all brown protokitty is striking a nice Kung Fu pose. Wow at the amount of reference material you use for your creations. No wonder they're always so detailed. -
There's plenty of people on here offering... What does it matter if they're opened? Don't you plan on opening them?
-
Neat update greg! I like the rocket testing area, interesting use of 3368 Space Centers pieces.
-
That's awesome! You really captured an old diner very well. The buildings shape is great and the glass roof was brilliant. The interior details are all there! The booths, the jukebox, fruit tray, pie case, stools, just great! I love that jukebox, are those custom chromed pieces? I don't recognize them...
