Sorry to bump this topic, but I was pondering taking advantage of the recent TRU sales and getting this set and the marina but I just cannot pull the trigger. These harbour sets are a step back for the LEGO City theme, however the marina is not too bad and I'm cool with the four other recent harbour sets. As far as this set goes, besides the ridiculous colors, the design is just bad, TLG can do better. There is really no need for the conveyor belt when you have a claw crane. It was like they were just trying to add redundant features to boost the overall size of the set. As stated in the review no details inside or outside the structure. I could go on, but maybe I'm being picky. These sets are most likely geared toward younger kids and that's fine but I'm sure they TLG could have come up with better designs. But then there is that new cargo train...

Although I will probably will eventually get this set, I feel TLG really dropped the ball when releasing this set. With 7939 just around a year old there was no reason for another cargo train. I wish they would have put more thought into the next "train" set and released a large scale train shed/cargo depot of some sort, a combination of 4555 and 10027. Maybe that's on the table for next year under the Creator theme...

Funny story, my brother and I could not wait until Christmas morning so we decided to sneak a peak at what was under the tree. Of course we were caught and for our punishment we were not allowed to play with our gifts until the following day. The worst part was that we didn't know that at first, we were told initially that our gifts will be returned to the store and Christmas for us was essential "canceled". So after a day of sulking we woke up to eat breakfast and to our surprise our gifts were on the table. Talk about a swing of emotions...So we ripped through the gifts and I saw this: This was the set of sets at the time...absolute favorite...

I'm not sure what the USD price will be but to me the 4645 Harbour and 4644 Marina sets just don't look very good. Definitely not worth buying in my opinion, so I will be boycotting...It's a shame because it will be another 4 years before new Harbour/Marina sets come out.

Oh yeah, definitely get the AAA Battery Box. LSD NiMH batteries recently came out and they are supposedly the best.
