Exclusive Train 10219 Maersk Train (Exclusive 2011)
Brickviller replied to paul_delahaye's topic in LEGO Train Tech
OH my! This is just... I don't know what to say... The entire set looks awesome, but a few minor things bug me -It's an american style train (I just don't like them, but that's because I never see them here ) -Is it possible to motorize this train with the new PF stuff (lights anyone?) All in all it looks like a great set and a worthy follow up to the emerald night- 379 replies

Because I wanted to have something to do when I wasn't building on my city Click here to see Comments and feedback are really welcome

Good review the set looks great (although I wished you made some more overall shots of the boat) I believe it will be a 'from 30 to 20 euro'set like the fire helicopter last year so I guess it's cheap. I still have to wait until march for this one

It's really a classic town style city, and despite that's not my personall taste, I still like it. The airport is very well done, and the concept of the station reminds me of some real buildings. I know it's hard for some people to make a decent sized city, (I had the same years ago and look at my City now )but if you keep adding buildings, baseplates and other city-related things I believe you City will become awesome Would you want to make a comment on my City december update, I really would like to have some thoughts about it from other City-building people
-
I vote for the public transport, It's a great set and will probaly become a valuable set in the future, Great vehicles, and an very original concept of a set, only some more building and less vehicle could be nice

Looks awesome, I really like all the snow, the train and all those details. This makes me want to make my own winter village. The old medieval buildings look even better and reminds me of those old pictures I saw as a child when it was Christmas. Sadly it's already over, but you creation brings back some of that spirit. Would you want to make a comment on my City december update, I really would like to have some thoughts about it from other City-building people, The link is in my signature

Indeed, well because I don't want to have these comments everytime I will replace the link to the Mocpages page where you can also read the description

Thanks everyone The main page of this forum has been modified to make it easier to view the photo's and look out for updates. The first one is already on the main page

This theme is really growing on to me The UFO seems like a pretty decent set, the humans are a little bit underpowerd with their vehicles. But just a question, On the lower right corner of the Alien mothership and the UFO abduction is a small add for something, I don't know what it is but I think it can be for the UFo abduction a light brick, and for the alien mothership a sound brick.

Well, I think the sets are quite good, and that even from the Prelimary images. I hope they make some improvments on the sets, The yacht is really cool, and it seems that it will go nice with the marina The marina is okay, not really what I was hoping for, but I hope they make it a little bit better The harbour is for me the must have, It looks really classic and still modern, and that's what I like about Lego these days. But that speedsboat looks ridicule Just a thought but aren't we supposed to get 2 waves of City every half year?

New pics of the Ninjago 2011 sets are on Smartwii's Flickr page
-
Well, at least the non-alien sets look a little like the older classic space sets, I mean blue and grey colorscheme, yellow windows and red lasers are very common with the old sets, still I think it looks al little uninspirerd and more like a bad Hollywood movie
-
I like the design of the republic frigate but I won't buy it because it's probaly gonna be very expensive
-
Time cruisers, for shure. Like most of you said, it's just a bunch of random parts. No Ninjago is a real improvment over that

Review: 2257 Spinjitzu Starter Set
Brickviller replied to tin7_creations's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hmm..What to say about this one, well first excellent review, very clear and understandable. But it's just the theme that doesn't appeals me at all. I think that kids will love to play with these, so Lego does their job -
I'm sorry to ask you this, but is it possible for you to make a pic of the new City line, or at least the boat
-
Yeah I know, I saw that t0o and when I checked it seemed it was a very, very small misprint. The ink came on the side of the brick, which makes it look like a sticker. You really have a great eye for detail
-
Ofcourse, everyone can, if they want. it's not liek he's my personal contact for these things. He's just a random person on flickr who made pics of the retailer catalogue, but only from the new kingdoms line.
-
No I don't have contact with him, he's the person from the new Kingdoms pics and said this on his Flickr page.
-
According to the person who made pics of the 2011 retailer catologue there will be a new classic based space theme, I really hope to see new pics because If TLC retrofitted the old ones, I will buy some. Nostalgic
-
I hope we get some better pics but a new harbour can be confirmed by now. And the hull is a small one, which I really like. Shall this one carry grain or just like the previous one containers... questions..questions. At least this changes my mind on buying all the space sets..
-
Sory for complaining but isn't this topic a little, well.. unneeded? I mean, people here think the new Lego City space sets are from NASA, which they're not, they're from the Lego City line. It's just a subtheme which don't need it's own forum right? I mean police, fire, civilian sub-themes also don't have their own forum. The only thing I see as a NASA set is that realistic ISS, but for the rest it's just City

Thanks for the new Pic, I really like the set now. hmm...another set on my wanted list
