  1. I don't think that's the right point of view, The 7939 has sold extremely well in my country. And even big toy shops have many of them for a discounted price. During the holiday season they sold loads and loads of this train. What I mean is that people don't need two of the smae train, but do want to have another train to go with the previous one. And even IF the Maersk train would be a great succes not every parent will buy one because: 1. It will not be avaliable at regular toy shops 2. high price 3. You need to buy a motor battery pack and so on (also not avaliable in regular shops) 4. It doesn't has a good playability compared to 7939 or the new one This means that I understand why Lego makes another train and hopes to sell these as well as the previous one.
  2. What the..? Again that poster of 7740 is awesome, the style, the look of the train, the mountains in the background. Everything is jsut well thought. I would love to see something like this with one of the more recent trains (because I own them and would love to hang these posters (with you permission) in my city!)
  3. I bhought this set yesterday and I thought it would be a great set, but it just doesn't do it for me. The shuttle looks a IMO to flat. Like someone smashed upon it with a hammer or something that made it look so flat. So I think it is a good set, but just something isn't right
  4. I never thought I would see something like this, it's just awesome. All posters look great. Could you tell me if you use any particular program for this? I would love to make one myself
  5. A colocscheme of this With a model like this, and this But as far as I know it's not modelled after just one locomotive, but it's probaly German, because in that country Lego trains sell very well, so it would be more appealing for people to buy a Lego train they also see in real life. And because the other trains (7938-Bombardier Talent, 7897-ICE) also were made after German trains.

Looks very good, the architecture has something good, and something I can't put my finger on what it is, in a good way ofcourse. Does it already has an interior? Anyways great work
  7. Good review, very clear and all. The last pic is hilarious. I've seen this set ;ying in shops but never bought it, we've seen airplanes like this for decades by now, but if you don't have any this is a really good set
  8. As a non-Sw collector I think this is not the best boxard we've had. First because I like the one from 2008 better, the on ewith the clone trooper helmet and those blue line. And second, I think Darth maul is a little bit scary for some parents (at least for mine ) but that's just me. I just liked the 2008 version
  9. Already a release? That's really early, I hope you can buy the speedboat, even though it does not have a good price for it
  10. This is so cool, every small detail, every minifig and the entire layout and sheer size of the thing is just, too impressive. Every time I watch a phot I see new things that I haven't seen before. The interior looks also great, with a real classic feeling to it. You're a great inspiration to all builders!
  11. Well, for once I expected this set ot be an exclusive. Because it was not in the retailers catalogue and we've never heard of a set like this before that, like with some other exclusive sets. This does not changes the way I think about this set, it's still awesome even though it might be a bit expensive(r?)
  12. That's awesome, I got the game almost a year ago when it was on clearance and I immediatly loved this unit (and the whole cybran nation ) I would love to see this one in minifig scale
  13. The new harbour (or is it harbor? ) Looks great! IMo much better than the boring red-darkgrey-blue one, this one looks so much more like the classic Lego I always watched in the old books when I was a kid . But no new pics of that train sets? Since it is officially a City set
  14. Wow! What an enormous makeover compared to your previous city. This is so much better. Although I'm not fond of that many roads but it still looks great, can't wait to see more buildings and train stuff
  15. Yeah I also think this one is much better than 7939, Now I almost feel sorry for buying that one because I'm running out of space. Well that means I need to make another table and remove my wardrobe Just kidding, or am I..?
  16. Thanks to Oste Hovels Flickr stream we have some more pics of this glorious train set Click
  17. I do think ti is a new set, and will be released one way or another. I mean why else would Lego spend valuable time and money (for the new color bricks and some new molds) in a Lego layout. They also could just ride with the older cargo train so I see no point in seeying it as a Lego-made Moc
  18. It also seems that the coal car brown big piece is a new piece. Well if it is a new set I'm really happy this year!
  19. Fbtb Flickr photostream has shown all the new 2011 City sets. Including the Harbour and Space subtheme Link to photostream
  20. I think the harbour is great, The last one was also good, but I think it's right to choose for a ship of this size. Not to big but also not to small. The rest of the sets don't appeal me that much, but that's because I can't intergrate most of them in my city
  21. Well at least not in the country where I live, because they never sell them seperatly here, but maybe in the UK they will be sold but I don't know because I don't live there
  22. Pic of the Harbour sets They look better than I thought
  23. These look very good, especially the one with the astronaut, sadly it won't be avaliable in regular stores otherwise I would buy at least then (s of thousands )
  24. Hi space fans! For a while I was thinking about making a big space ships, you know with a few rooms and stuff like that. However I searched but couldn't find tips/advice/technical stuff for beginners So I hope some of you can help me. The only thing I can say further is that I don't have many bricks but I do have many plates and technic Lego
  25. It's already here on my own Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLanovYpmgM And here's the second movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgvL-x2RK9U&feature=channel_video_title I must say I'm really impressed with the level of detail, story and the fact that it is even funny for an adult to watch
