Hi @cimddwc. Lego fan and Christian believer here. Nice model.

Could you pick something harder, please, lol? (Actually, someone suggested 'In The Court of The Crimson King'!) I will try and keep going, thank you. Thanks so much. Yes, the R took me about two days! And the black hand, well spotted, I don't know where her hand is in the original picture! Is it in her pocket? Is she lying on it? There's great stuff on all Aimee's records. 'Smilers' is my favourite at the moment.

I always enjoy seeing new ones! Great work again. This time I particularly like the goat in Illinoise, the gold pieces in the Yo La Tango, and the house fronts in Bright Eyes.

Well, it's nice to take pictures of your Lego outside sometimes! That winter sunshine is great. https://www.instagram.com/retro__chip/

Amazing work. Beautiful ships. My favourite is the red Consular Class Cruiser. Well done!

Really lovely. Great parts usage and beautiful photos.

Based on your over-the-top style of writing, I'm not sure if you're pretending to be rude for fun or if you're being deadly serious. It's hard to tell on the internet. Anyway, let me re-phrase. A TIE Bomber is of no interest to me personally to spend money on (although I'd be happy to be given a present of one). I'm happy for you if you'd like one. Also, I've been watching Star Wars films for 37 years and collecting Star Wars Lego for 7 years. For what it's worth.

The only thing I have against the gunship is that it is a bit too much like a military helicopter from earth. One of the (few) things that annoys me in Star Wars films is when they go to close to 'earth' things. See also Dexter's diner, where they are playing American football (which I like...on earth) which jars with me. The gunship is a fun ship though and there could be some nice figs (sorry, I know purists don't like figs in a UCS. But it might be a like a Tantive sort-of-a-UCS). The Nebulon is the coolest original design of the three but I would not stretch to a 400-800 euro set. The the bomber is of no interest. So, maybe the gunship...

I think, rightly or wrongly, that the Lego loving world is a lot more positively disposed towards the Prequels than the world at large is...

Looking forward to seeing your own moc someday soon! Thank you for taking a look!

1. Hello! 2. Never seen the film. Just know of it. 3. What about Krennic (from Rogue One)'s hair for Gary?
-
Looks great and the photos are stunning!
-
Thats a cute idea. I abhor dust, so any way to display a set 'under cover' is a good one.

[PRESS RELEASE] LEGO Creator Expert 10272 Old Trafford Manchester United
Retro replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Licensed
Firstly, for money. Everything Lego does is to make money. So presumably they think there is a market for this. Secondly, there are two kinds of 'football fan'. Taking Manchester United as the case in hand, there is presumably a core of traditional local-ish supporters, who attend as many matches as they can (amongst the visitors from other parts of the UK/world), buy a pie at half time and so on. Then there are fans for whom it is a brand and a hobby that they like. In the same way Lego makes sets to appeal to fans of The Simpsons, Ferrari, James Bond, The Beatles and so on. So it's not a question of saying why are they limiting themselves by alienating fans of Liverpool, Ajax and so on. It's more that they can target a huge global group of people in the same way they can target fans of Friends, NASA, Star Wars and so on. -

Thanks. 'Weird colour balance' is about right! There's more Pink Floyd in my main Division Bell thread and on Instagram if you're ever interested. 'Remember when you were young...' etc.
-
Agreed. The 'Unfinished Death Star' is one of the key images from my childhood, and he's done it very niftily here.
