You know, Flickr is borked right now and I can't view the full beans in full glory. What's happening? The only clue I have is that there's an SSL error.

Whoopsie-doodle! I forgot figs have stud receptors.
-
Now who here thinks this set can become three times larger with three copies of the set?

MOC Zastava 101 MkII (Rally)
XAxles replied to Chapachuk's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
What NPU here. -
The box picture on Brickset, which is, mercifully, not diagonal: Yes, I know there's a bit of the box that's isn't there, but deal with it. Also, here's what Huw thinks the price will be: Hundred sixty dollars sure sounds pretty darn cheap for a full-functioning Ferris Wheel of its size, but it'd take sometime time before we find out if this set is worth the money. And... I Spy With My Two Little Eyes... two other seemingly brick-built carnival rides. A Roller Coaster's big loop section and a Swinger (forgot the correct name), to be exact.

Advanced Models 10248 Ferrari F40: Discussion Topic
XAxles replied to XAxles's topic in LEGO Licensed
All I know is that the F40 has to be longer, wider, and should sit lower than the Leyland Mini. And that it should have an accurate engine bay (F40's got a twin-turbo V8, right?). Oh, and pop-up headlamps, too. Man, just a month away before getting the most legendary Ferrari road car ever. And if TLG can help it, they can make it RC, though that's gonna raise the scale. -
Now that I see it... there's a glaring lack of safety in those gondolas. Other than that, I find it neat. Then again, though, most fairground wheels don't have that much other amenities save the ticket seller. In fact, this is a bit more loaded than average.

I'm guessing Highlands Fair.

Here's a comment I found at Brickset. He has a good grasp about what the mechanics of this set will be. And another commenter found a Ferris wheel that's similar to 10247.

That's an extremely impressive collection you got there. And congrats for snagging the Flatiron Building. If a review is to go by, it's gonna be a rewarding build and can be useful for when you and your son suddenly want to do an Architecture-style MOC.
-
Whoa. Neat. And kudos for going full breastplate. I wanna see more of these.

Tell some more stuff. As for me... I'm waiting for the designer video and PDF instructions. I'm seeing some cool techniques that can be used to make an arch bridge like the one in Sydney. None that I know of or seen in the calendar, but methinks the can go for a cotton candy machine (with a Unikitty reference, no less) or a small carnival game like one of the smaller builds in the Fairground Mixer.

[NMOC] Pagani Huayra
XAxles replied to darksheep's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
A blue Huayra... the sexiest blue LEGO-built car around. -
Oh, those coffee cups are stolen. This one, too. With more colors it'd look like the ones for Coke, Pepsi, or Slurpee. The whole counter... and this, the star of the show. It'd be nice to see more of the ATM machine, but these little builds, together with the aisles, the fridge and the Donuts, add so much charm. And they give me loads of ideas for dispensers and counters for some future Creator-style houses and/or camper builds.

Whatever you said, that's the best bet we have. For now, we wait. There might just be a teaser coming the start of May, just so it can generate hype among fans. -
No, no, it IS 60061. Just a tad bigger.
-
Yep. A bit more like the City Airport Fire Truck, but with more wheels, a bigger water tank, a longer hose, and TURRETS!!!
-
Incredible; the wheels and wheel arches fit so damn well with this build! M-m-meyzin' fire engine, ER0L. Not how about an airport crash tender? Because not cab-over?
-
Oh, come on. That's just way too much. I can only handle so much of this good stuff, ya know.I want MOAR.
-
Arctic Batman... with orange legs?
-
Fingers still crossed here.

I would have run this in a super de-blur-inator, but I don't have that. In any case... yeah, that's Chell.
-
Sorry. Didn't recognize him.
-
I see no Minecraft Steve. Well, ____. But wait! Chell in this game. Portal isn't *that* dark, really. I'm more curious as to how TLG got Valve a license. Maybe it's because the two have been in talks for a special (game? set?) even before or just after the Cuusoo project didn't get there. Which suddenly got me thinking: Portal 3 LEGO? Sorry. Got off-topic. I count 42 characters. Is it stacked enough, a bit small, or is it a boatload?
