This has been siting on my flickr for awhile, I decided o go ahead and post it. Part 2 has already been built and photographed it just needs to be edited. The sets may be simple, but id prefer not to spend weeks working on each shot. When this discovery went public, the truth was revealed, a shadow government did in fact exist in Human space. The Illumination War began, encompassing all of human space. Between the Human Freedom Movement and a shadowy group known as the Illuminati. The war officially ended with an Illuminati defeat in 2731. Solomon Walker and Donnie Torch carried freight and ran blockades for both sides. The year is 2741, a time of great prosperity, great adventure, and great opportunity. Our heroes are spacers, men who make a living doing odd (and often illegal) jobs across the galaxy. They soon team up with Shami Far-Light, an alien with a shady past. The trio will make a horrifying discovery, one that could effect the entire galaxy. and perhaps the Illuminati weren't defeated all those years ago... While officially listed as Feuer Der Befreiung (as German is the official language of my fictional nation) Fires of Liberation takes place in the fictional Asian country of South Mirthan. The story revolves around 5 characters of varying personality, motivation etc. as there are thrown together by the nations compulsory service laws. When South Mirthan comes under attack by its Northern Neighbor, the five are thrown to the front lines. The promo image is here. The König Bär (King Bear) is the pride and joy of the South Mirthanese military. introduced in 1997, the König Bär proved more than a match for the North's aging M60 Pattons. armed with a 125mm main cannon with a .50 machine gun and automatic loading system, the König Bär is the mightiest tank in east Asia. its 125 mm rifled cannon is accurate at up to 500 yards, using the latest Thermal and EM imagery systems coupled with advanced IFF. The tank utilizes depleted uranium to reinforce the hull covered by a layer of chobham and ceramics. The laminate steel layer is resistant to RPGs as well.. The König Bär also has the engine placed in front, and a rear escape hatch to allow the crew to escape in the event of the tank being knocked out.

The M404 Crusader was developed in 1991, and has served the South Mirthanese army admirably. armed with a 25mm cannon that can fire both high explosive, and armor piercing rounds, The vehicle uses Laminate steel combined with heavy grade Aluminum and ceramics, making it impervious to most small arms fire. the angular shape of the hull serves to deflect IED and Landmine explosions, preventing the vehicle from being flipped over it also boasts a 6 hour NBC system to protect the occupants from chemical attacks. The m404 can carry 6 passengers and 2 crew. The M404 is designed to keep pace with, and provide support to MBT battlegroups, as well as carry infantry to the front lines. . The gunner is positioned behind the driver, he utilizes a computer interface to control the gun remotely. The driver can see through 3 cameras, 2 at the front of the hull, another in the rear above the access hatch. He also has a physical periscope in case of malfunctions.

The cruiser is by far my favorite, though on a side note, it seems a bit strange to have an open flightdeck on a space craft, but i suppose it looks cooler.

Amazing work, Im really liking the rocks along the sides of the islands.

I had all of mine organized about a year ago, after I moved their just sorta in 2 big crates now. I do however pick out "valuable" pieces that I use a lot and put those into a few separate bins. .
