  1. thank you Oh yes, especially in the case of the Set 42030
  2. Thank you Paul, your experience is also useful Thank you. From what you have told me I think my motor is normal. However, in any event, the assistance lego is so efficient?
  3. Hi, I recently received a copy of the set 42030. I have found that the XL engine seems to be much noisier than the M or the L. In particular, if I do go in a clockwise direction the noise is not much, but if I do rotate counter-clockwise increases the noise, there seems to be of 'internal friction. Also putting it in motion and keeping physically in the hands , if I move it I feel that turning the noise changes. is normal or do you advise me to send him back to the assistance lego? Thank you

  5. I recommend the Amazon Basics, purchased on Amazon for a fairly low price. They are among the best in terms of performance. These batteries are Eneloops, but with impressed mark from Amazon
  6. Thanks BlackBird was hoping for a reply. Another curiosity: Have you talked to the current limit of the PF BB. This limit is set to 750mAh? But it is present in all battery box? If actually in this way, even with the AAA that are 850mAh would have the same results as with the AA so would both limited. in theory, this reasoning is correct? thank you
  7. Hello to all. I wanted to seek advice from those who have both battery packs and did some testing. In terms of performance, defined as the torque / speed performance of the engine and then the motorized parts of the model, there is much difference between a BB 8881 classic used with the AA NiMh (Eneloops for example) and a BB 88000 used with the AAA NiMh (for example, always Eneloops) ? of course I know that the AAA will be exhausted before but the thing that interests me most is the performance. I'm happy with the standard BB 8881 and the Eneloops, If confirmed that the performance is similar, I take directly the 88000 and leave it on the shelf the 8878 that costs a lot thank you very much
  8. Hello to all. I'd like to build this fantastic model, is on my list for some time. Only one thing stops me, I seemed to have read that there are mechanical problems, some kind of friction or some gear / link is not working properly. Someone who built it can tell me if it is true? And if it were true, this thing affect the operation? Thank you very much! Sorry for my bad english
  9. is this part frictionless?
  10. Fantastic rewiew!! Thanks a lot! I really like this set, but for the high price I would have liked, or at least hoped, the package contained rechargeable lithium batteries and not the usual classic battery pack
  11. Wow.A lot of interesting answers and very helpful! Thanks to all
  12. Hello to all. I wanted to ask you something about the PF. Can I use inside the battery box, rechargeable battery (1.2 volts) instead of normal ones from 1.5Volt? The engines have less power? Either there are no problems? you do too and always use the 1.5 volt non-rechargeable batteries? thank you very much
  13. Thanks to all of you! is a fantastic Forum! I chose to buy the unimog! But do not forsake the 8043 I'm already putting money aside, just find an good opportunity to take that too.
  14. First of all thanks for the replies. Regarding the playability is not a problem, because as I said I will buy the 42030 which I think is very playable. I think the best choice is to buy now the Unimog+42030. In this way I will have a set with Pneumatic and cool features and also a set with RC and linear actuator. The only thing that stops me is that I think I miss some interesting mechanisms present in 8043. I think the 42030 has not sophisticated mechanisms such as the 8043, confirmed or is it just me? Damn it is very difficult to choose!
  15. Hello to all. I am a 22 year old guy. I was fond of Lego when I was 8-14 years old. After I had a period where I have not bought anything. my last set, bought in about 2002, there were a 8462 and a 8479. Now let me start with the lego. I am undecided on two sets of purchase: 8110 and 8043. I have a budget of approximately € 250 +. Which of the two sets is the most interesting in terms of the solutions adopted and mechanisms? I was very convinced by 8043 but I saw the Volvo 42030 will be released in August that surely will take. I would not find myself with two sets are very similar so I took into consideration the Unimog. What do you say?Do you think that they are too similar? It is worthwhile to buy now the 8043 and the 42030 in August or instead being sure to buy the volvo is best to take the Unimog now and then the 42030? Thank you and sorry for my bad english :)
