A set similar to https://brickset.com/sets/8404-1/Public-Transport-Station would be great. -

I absolutely want a bendy bus in LEGO. -
How about a ribs piece, that would be awesome to see.

I want to see a Barbecue joint (American style smoked meats) either as a building or a food truck.

Right now LEGO isn't making the 32x32 baseplate in tan (which is why they don't sell it). -

There are definitely instances where parts are cheaper on Bricklink than on B&P and instances where parts are cheaper on B&P than on Bricklink. -
After some thinking and some looking at official sets (and MOCs) for inspiration I have come up with an idea for the wings of a P-51 (the plane I really want for my MOC) so that's a good start. Set 6745 Propeller Power in particular has given me some good ideas. (although the Mustang has an inline V12 Merlin engine and not the 8-cylindar rotary engine the set has)

Yes, if you order one of those 3 elements you actually get a cardboard box that contains all 3 (since that's how its packaged in the set) -
I was more looking for existing LEGO MOCs I could take inspiration from (or even copy or recolor if need be) that might look good so I don't need to try and figure out how to design one from scratch.

Does anyone know of any ideas (or better yet designs that I can copy) for minifig scale US fighters from Vietnam or earlier (e.g. P-51, F-4, older stuff)? And by "minifig scale" I mean "would look OK next to the jets from https://brickset.com/sets/60103-1/Airport-Air-Show" I have 3 copies of the twin tail jet from that set re-colored to represent F/A-18 Hornets and now for the MOC I am doing I need something older I can build to round things out.

If you buy any one of those 3 fabric parts (the 2 flags or the cape) you actually get a cardboard box with all 3 (which is how it comes in the set). That's why the price is as high as it is. -

I just wish they would make the US-only parts available in the rest of the world (I want those dark green trees...) -

I wish they would hurry up and make all the currently US only parts available to everyone (in particular the dark green pine tree) -
Given the whole "be better for the environment" thing LEGO is doing lately (and the general controversy about the oil industry and damage to the planet from fossil fuels) I can't see LEGO doing an oil rig or the like as a set (Octan or otherwise) Yes they make petrol stations but these days those stations include EV chargers and other green things and in general petrol stations are a lot less controversial than actual oil extraction.

There are only 2 different regions. North America (US and Canada) that have Bestseller parts ship from a warehouse in Illinois and rest-of-world that have Bestseller parts ship from a warehouse in Poland. The parts available from each bestseller warehouse are different and (for some reason known only to LEGO) right now there are parts in the Standard warehouse in Denmark that are only being sold to North America and not rest-of-world (and some only being sold to rest-of-world and not North America). All countries in each group should have an identical set of parts for sale. -

FYI a LEGO employee on a Discord group (someone responsible for working on the pick-a-brick front-end and who is in said Discord I suspect mostly to get feedback and bug reports about the PaB front end) said this about the Castle parts that are currently only available in the US "There is a reason, but I can't say what it is unfortunately. They'll be back soon" so that should mean they will be available for the rest of the world at some point soon. -
I can see why they used the crayon costume rather than the firework costume though, the crayon mold is more recent.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Disney 100 figures have leaked (promobricks being the original source of the leak) and the leaks indicate we are getting 18 figures this time around, not just 12. Will reserve judgement until I see pictures but some of them do sound cool. -

My opinion is that they have removed too much of the charm that made the original good. Look at the fishing store, that had mostly muted colors (except in things like the equipment) and managed to retain a bunch of the "its old and shows it" feeling. The original submission for the a-frame cabin tried to capture that same "its old and shows it" feeling but the final product doesn't really capture that. The green parts around the base for example should have been a more muted color like olive green or dark green to make it feel more like "cabin in the woods" rather than "cabin at some manicured camp site" (I can see why they changed the trees though, the original trees would have required far too many parts)

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
jonwil replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
This isn't a rumor, it supposedly comes from some kind of official database. But yes it could change if LEGO decides to change the retirement date of a set at some point (which they have done in the past for modulars) -

It was posted by LEGO on the LAN forum apparently (which therefore counts as "official" in my book) -

The current date I can find for the retirement of the Assembly Square is Dec 31 2023. Although its entirely possible it may be extended again. The Bookshop and Police Station also have end-23 as their retirement date with the hotel having end-25 and the Jazz Club having end-26.
