Excellent build Gideon, it's so massive and detailed . I love the various colors used, and the lighting features worked perfectly! Furthermore, the scene is very lively and interesting, enough to establish Barqa as a bustling city, yet keep it from distracting from the moc. +1 UoP DoH for all your claims (in case they are not all certified)

Such a great build! I love the platform design and the boat especially

Very nice job, nice use of the BURPs in the rock work, though the contrast between the dark tan and dark gray is quite stark. I would recommend a "mediating color(s)" such as tan or light grey. On another note, very good structure as well

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Scaevola replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
You can change your sigfig at any time, but you must conclude their storyline by killing, banishing, or having them settle down to name a few options. -
Thanks Carson, I actually made this building like that to compare the two textures. I wholeheartedly agree Thank you Sarah Thanks Jakorin Thanks ME for the praise and C&C. I'll make sure to experiment a bit with the roof techniques some more

Nice work with this. Perhaps you could make the pictures a little bigger and change the figs so they aren't all lotr though.

Avalonia Task 3- The Geography of Ambalar

Very nice microbuilds, really clever idea for the waterfall -
Thanks, I'm glad you like it Thanks, my ideas were getting a little stale though, I have some better ideas for my new sigfig Thanks Aland Thank you Thanks, I agree that maybe some tiles would make it a little more visually appealing Thanks Lenjoy Glad you think so, I'll be certain to use it again Thanks for the advice Robuko. The Urgaul Pact was a splinter insurgency of the Principality of Quataria. Therefore, it was essentially a foreign entity seizing some Kaliphlin land (I will come back to this eventually). Regarding the trees, I will post a picture tomorrow as it's difficult to explain without one.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Scaevola replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
New free build: A Sanguinary End. I'm also working on my Kaliphlin prologue build, which is shaping up to be fairly large and my new sigfig. EDIT: My new sigfig is done! New Sigfig by scaevola11, on Flickr Bio: Hlaesius Wydemon, Cardinal Archcurate of Barqa was the religious leader for the Ormaic Church in Barqa and its surrounding state. However, Wydemon was greatly disgraced in the city by his authoring of a petition advocating the institution of a more powerful presence of the church in Barqa and its surrounding eparchies. The Cardinal fled to Luxour, a city in the Chimeti Archipelago off Berigora where he continued his duties as archcurate. Wydemon's deft administration and ardent support for the advancement of the theocracy in the Orieqa Concordat, the principal republic of the archipelago and Luxour's state merited the interest of Primate Urban Hlaemeda VI, who appointed Wydemon to the College of Cardinals and as Abbot of Tournon in Luxour, making him a chief advisor of the Primate. His advocation of a new order subsequently waxed, and he is liable to question the dynasty that rules his home with his kinsmen in Quatarias' inefficient leadership to quell the Urgaul Pact insurgency. With this new personage, I intend to base many of my mocs in Luxour, a city which I aim to push through the HSS registry. Luxour will be tributary of Kaliphlin nestled in the midst of a lush oasis on the isle of Orieqa in the Chimeti Archipelago, a small island chain off the eastern coast. The metro is to be the seat of the Ormaic Church, a polytheistic triumvirate church, as well as a trading port famous for its exportation of silks, spices, and sugar. -
From the journal of Horatius Urga, Knight of the Body The Urgaul Pact descended like a horde of rabid fiends upon Quataria City. With our administration in turmoil, their forces shredded through our vanguard and burst through the gatehouse. Our meager garrison was slaughtered in the street fighting that ensued, and the soldiers indiscriminately torched the metropolis to the ground. The most flourishing port in Quataria was razed thereat, and I fled to the desert, utterly defeated. Their patrols scour the jungles, and I fear my death and the end of the Quatarian commonwealth is nigh. A contingent of bounty hunters advanced on Urga, who had sought shelter from the unforgiving dunes in a derelict watchtower nearly swallowed by the sands. The men wordlessly lunge at Urga, who is quickly grounded by their charge. Desperately brandishing his dagger, Urga is disarmed and beaten to the ground by the flat of their spears. The mercenary punctures Urga's skull, killing him swiftly. An overview of the watchtower. Well, I'm back with another moc. I was fairly satisfied with my desert landscape, but it could use a splash of dark tan. Furthermore, I also tested a different stonework technique, so please give me your advice. I think perhaps some smaller tiles may give it more variance. I intend to post my new sigfig soon, and as always C&C welcome and encouraged

+1 UoP DoH for all claims. Very nice moc, I really like how you made the mountains. I agree the forced perspective would b better farther back (it isn't quite pulled off), but very nice job nonetheless
