So happy that I stumbled upon this thread today - This appears to be the first all in one Lego brushless kit that I've seen... The performance looks amazing! Just ordered one of these kits - my plan is to make some sort of lightweight 4x4 buggy out of it Can't wait to beat my current LEGO speed record of 14mph/23kmh (BuWizz)

Not necessarily - I've overcome this problem in the past by using a PF to PU adaptor like this: https://pv-productions.com/product/powered-up-to-power-functions-adapter/ They also sell them on AliExpress, which is the route I took, super cheap and works a dream!

Cheers! Downgrading the version to 3.2.8 fixed the issue, been working reliably since changing versions. To digress a little, Has anyone done a "Thermistor delete" on a BuWizz motor? When I'm absolutely caning it for more than 5 minutes at high speeds, the thermistor kicks in and it takes a good while for the resistance to drop again. The motors don't feel warm to the touch. I wonder if the thermistor is specced conservatively. I've got some knackered old BuWizz motors that I've been using for off road stuff, tempted to take one for the team and test it out... EDIT: Had the idea to move the thermistor away from the surface of the motor a little by cutting up the motor casing. This works a treat, ran 10 minutes, proper giving it some welly, and the motors were begging for more! Surface of the DC motor felt a bit warm, but not hot. For reference, the thermistor inside the BuWizz motor is a Littelfuse 30R110U, Ambient hold current: 1.10A Ambient trip current: 2.20A Will see if this lasts many months and kilometers more of abuse!

Just bought 2x BuWizz 3.0, but the software has bugged out on me Yesterday, I was driving it just fine - had a controller connected and everything, drove sweet as. Today when I got back from work, turned on the bricks, fired up the app, and now when I connect, i'm getting massive input lag (>10 seconds) (With both controller and on screen controls) press the accellerator slightly, nothing happens for 10 seconds, then the motors just stay on for a random amount of time, going at random speeds, sometimes directions, before turning off again. Same thing with steering, it does follow the input, just with an unpredictable time delay (10s or more). All the outputs work, just unpredictable and massively delayed. Occasionally it will respond normally for a few seconds but then goes straight back to behaving weird. I have tried turning my phone on and off again, clearing the app cache, clearing all app data, restarting app and bricks several times, making a new profile, and nothing works. EDIT: This issue only seems to happen when I select a profile with 2x BuWizz 3.0 - I made a profile with just one of them, switching between both units, and both work OK on their own. The issue is only when I try to use them in tandem... Any advice?

Hi all, Here is a medieval cottage made out of set 21325. The shape is inspired by the old lego set 3739. The roof opens up to reveal a bed, writing area, and armour stand. The whole top part can lift off to reveal the cozy first floor, complete with wood stockpile for the Light-Brick lit fire, a comfy armchair, and plenty of other supplies. Instructions available on my Rebrickable page.

Back again with another 8 studder, this one being the VW bus featured in the BBC sitcom "The Cleaner", starring Greg Davies. Complete with crime scene clean up kit in the back, accurate decals, and a plethora of SNOT techniques, the free instructions can be downloaded on Rebrickable One of my personal gripes with other LEGO models I've seen with rear wheel spats or "fender skirts" for the americans, is that the rear wheels are recessed by a non insignificant amount compared to the front wheels. My primary aim was to ameliorate this by means of using the half-stud thick panel piece mounted upside-down. Thus, the front and rear wheels are collinear, without sitting too far into the arches. BuWizz Buggy Madness

I've made a V2 of this MOC with 2x BuWizz 2.0, because why not!? https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-155904/EvilEnderman/dual-buwizz-tarmac-shredder-chassis/#details Free instructions for anyone crazy enough to build one See it in action here: -
Saw the Lego forklift elements on Stud.io and thought I ought to have a go making a forklift. I recreated the one I'm most familiar with, a Linde forklift which we have at work. Sariel's model scaler was used to get it as close as I could, and I'm really happy with the results. I really want to spray-paint the wheels red at some point too! Instructions and partslist: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-151453/EvilEnderman/linde-electric-forklift/#details The parts aren't too rare, I managed to find all of them for less than 25 quid. For the full photoshoot, see here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Ender/linde-e16-electric-forklift Cheers lads

I'm enjoying trying to build things in 1:1 scale, Previously I built a Micro830 computer I thought i'd go meta, just for a laugh, plus because the tiles for the buttons are the perfect size compared to the real thing! Instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-151197/EvilEnderman/electronic-scales-11/#details Real bricks coming in the post soon, will update when physically built

Wanted to do something nautical, as i've been building a considerable amount of cars recently. Inspired by the Princess 49, here is a mini yacht that makes a fantastic desk ornament at work. A taste of luxury, without the price tag! The final result is super sturdy, and mostly studless. Instructions available for download (Premium): https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-150625/EvilEnderman/luxury-yacht/#details

[MOC] Architecture - Sheffield Cheesegrater Car Park Building
EvilEnderman replied to Bobflip's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I could stare at this all day, masterful work. The layered panels as stairs, and the transparent panel as the bus stop though... -
Id recommend two of the same type motor. Even if you got the BuWizz motor and the L motor running at exactly the same RPM, the torque the different motors produce vs current applied (Torque constant) will be different, so their performance won't be uniform across different loads. As it's drawing more current in the coupled state, I see that as a red flag - seems like the motors are fighting eachother - I'd recommend trying two BuWizz motors instead.

Instructions out on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-149133/EvilEnderman/rc-reliant-robin-buwizz/#details Inventory doesn't include BuWizz. Does anyone know if there's a proper .dat model of a BuWizz somewhere on this forum? I made a very crude version using PartDesigner to illustrate the concept, but it doesn't look quite right.

After a lot of people downloaded my 3 wheeler V8 alternate build of doms charger, I thought i'd keep it on three wheels and build a reliant robin. Powered by BuWizz 2.0 and BuWizz motor, although the gearing pictured will change to 1:1 as I keep tripping the overload thermistor. It's amazing fun, and will very likely tip over if you're not careful! Despite putting stabiliser wheels on it, it still flips over... Free instructions coming on Rebrickable, as well as a proper full length youtube video now I have a proper tripod. #

Had this problem yesterday while driving, BuWizz 2.0 stopped working and now will only blink red. I managed to get it to blink faster when experimenting with stuff on the app but nothing has worked. BuWizz support say to wait for it to fully discharge, then try again. this will take a few days... They do however say there is a firmware update planned to fix this. I'm very disappointed, after just dropping over 100 quid on this, I expect it to work reliably. Perhaps I should have got the 3.0 instead

Tinkering complete! https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-144659/EvilEnderman/buwizz-high-speed-buggy/#details I reckon it goes about 10mph. It's plenty fast for bricks, but i think i'm going to make a 4wd version soon. Cheers lads -E
