  1. Soz for double-post, but the two aren't related... Here's a couple of the very first space sets I ever got, way back in 1979: 885 Space Scooter 885 LXF file issues: as posted here, the two trans-blue 1x1 rounds won't fit in the lattice of the 4x1 fence piece. and don't exist in LDD, so have been replaced by and respectively. Classic space torso image doesn't exist, so it's been replaced by its modern counterpart (which doesn't take on the colour of the torso brick itself, which sucks) Classic space logo is also missing from 2x3 slope. 886 Space Buggy 886 LXF file issues: doesn't exist in LDD, so has been replaced by its modern counterpart assembly. Classic space torso image doesn't exist, so it's been replaced by its modern counterpart (which doesn't look as crappy in white as it does on red.)
  2. No prob. I was using it to 'learn' more of LDD anyway... I'd only gotten as far as page 25 ;) Plus, I was building it because I want to Mod/MOC this particular set... I found this too. My solution was to leave the middle 7L axle floating in space nearby. At least the stub-axles are symmetrical then :)
  3. I don't know about recent, but 885 Space Scooter (from 1979) can't be built properly because the trans-blue 1x1 rounds won't fit into the lattice. At the moment, they're floating in space. (no pun intended)
  4. <-- marker! --> 10187 VW Beetle - was in progress, but IlikePi beat me to the punch ;)
  5. Awesome job. One minor thing I'd add - "lost" toys on the roof ;) Frisbee, soccer ball, plane...
  6. Greetings, all Just thought I'd introduce myself... I'm Cadder, I live on the Gold Coast (Queensland, Australia) with my wife and kids, having recently moved up from Sydney. I've been a Lego fan since I got my first set for my 5th birthday (some 38 years ago). (it was this one:) I sold my original one (along with a lot of other classic sets :() as a teenager, to fund the purchase of this one: I've been through an extended dark period, and have just started organising (and vastly expanding) my Lego collection... My favourite themes are Classic space, and I'm really enjoying the Modular Buildings line. Call me slow (maybe it's an AFOL thing) but I've also (and only recently) gotten interested in Lego trains. (there goes all my spare $$$...) I'm wondering if there are any LUGS (or even friendly AFOLs) on the Gold Coast, or nearby in sunny SE Queensland?
  7. ROFL. Closet AFOLs FTW!
