Woo, it's lookin' very nice now! The pirate parts make for a great matador figure, and (needless to say) the colour scheme looks great and wonderfully fits in with the theme. And since I haven't commented on this before, I must compliment you on your decals, they are very nice indeed. Fantastic job, TheBrickster! ~Peace

I'm not generally a city builder, but this guide looks to be very helpful if ever I heed the call of vehicle building. Very well put together, very nice! Thanks Ralph_S! ~Peace

Oh, how exciting! Here I go. My name's Sam. I'm from New Zealand. More specifically, Rotorua, a town notorious for smelling like rotton eggs (to clarify, it's only in some parts, and that's because of the sulphur deposits.. ). I'm a fan of zombies, and am the proud owner of The Zombie Survival Guide. I love and collect interesting, funny, or geeky t-shirts, and as a result have become quite fond of ThinkGeek.com. I am an avid gamer, even if I'm not at all good at the games I play. Therefore I find Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw's game "reviews" (Zero Punctuation) quite entertaining. I love all sorts of music, ranging from Christian rock to Pirate metal. My favourite song is 'Fighting Tao' by the band Hurt. It has an epic violin solo. I love playing Monopoly. I follow a ridiculous amount of web-comics, 14 at my last count, not counting ones I've yet to catch up on. I also frequent Cracked.com, and find Daniel O'Brien awfully entertaining. Well, that's all, for now. ~Peace

CAUTION: IMAGE HEAVY To those who are unfamiliar with my post-post-Apocalyptic world, let me explain. It's quite simple really. There was the Apocalypse, all fire and brimstone and nuclear bombs. Then there was the post-Apocalyse, levelled cities, the occasional band of survivors staying alive in the irradiated wasteland. And then, hundreds of years later, when the world was healing and growing and starting anew (with a bit of an irradiated boost), there is the post-post-Apocalypse. Humans still survive, however a constant menace lies in the form of Necrobots. Necrobots began as a rogue AI who turned to humans as a source of sustenance, a way to keep itself alive. It converts humans into Necrobots, and through them it lives. Onto the MOC, we have a small band of survivors assaulting a Necrobot Production Facility, commonly referred to as a Factory. Here the hapless victims are given an acid bath, stripping the bones of all the needless flesh and organs. The cranes lift the fresh skeleton from the acid onto the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt transports the skeletons into the next room. It is this room where the skeletons are picked over by Necrobot workers, who ready them for the robotic implants and replacement limbs. Argh, but how can they work with explosions tearing holes in their walls? Our group hacks through the vegetation, making their way to the building to wreak havoc and generally be a pain. And now, group shots! Here we have our trusty Medic, next to the hardy Demolitions expert, accompanied by a Necrobot worker. You can see here our group's resident Sharpshooter, next to our loyal canine companion and.. er.. charming Heavy weapons gal. Also a Necrobot worker. Sorry about the mass of photos, Dragonator let me use his camera and I went kind of photo crazy. I'd also like to thank Dragonator for putting up with the mess I made while building this. Thanks for stopping by, comments and criticisms appreciated! Peace ~iamded

It's certainly an interesting premise you've got, a sort of alternate history. The minifigs are interesting, it's nice to see the toy soldier's torso used for a soldier. Look forward to seeing some MOCs from this! ~Peace

Certainly a very interesting and unusual MOC. I do like the placement of all the red boxes. They just, I'm not sure. They sit right with me. Very nice, cagri. ~Peace

MOC: NYPD - Picking Up The Pieces - 14th Street
iamded replied to Zepher's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Always good to see more post-Zombie Apocalypse MOCs out there! Ah, I do love me some zombie killin'. Nice MOC here, but it does pose one question: Why is that zombie still alive! It's practically directly in front of the big gattling gun! No, but really, it is a great MOC, love the metal support bars showing through the crumbling rock structure. Very nice, look forward to seeing more. ~Peace -
<impressed whistle> Wow, this will be one heck of a project! I wish I could travel ahead in time a year to see this in it's complete state! It sounds to be very impressive, I wish you the best of luck! ~Peace

Very nice! The tan mixes well with the light bley, and the roof is outstanding. I too love the broken down look given to some of the areas, it is done very well. The foliage is nice too, with the vines winding through the bushes. Very, very cool. ~Peace

Wow, just... wow. This is truly an outstanding, exemplary MOC, packed with detail in both architecture and the hustle and bustle of the streets. Absolutely amazing! ~Peace

I hope so! I mean.. er.. Looking forward to Chapter 3! ~Peace -
Good suggestions, but you'll notice "See pages hired fast sword" is also written there. What I assumed is you'd rearrange the letters of "See pages hired fast sword" into a sentence that fits the _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ | _ _ | _ _ _ _ _ pattern. Your suggestions don't fit the anagram, sorry. Not that I have any suggestions myself...

To clarify - I was talking about the gem, not the statue or our tour guide.
-
Maybe there's something inside it? I would suggest smashing it, perhaps with the sword, but if it turns out it works as some sort of key later on, we wouldn't be able to use it. I guess we could see what everyone else has to say on this matter?
-
<sigh> It appears that once again, as I was taking everything in and thinking about it all, that other people have already taken said actions. I still say we pass it around the group though, if there are any pictures or diagrams.

Sorry about the mix up in there Hinckley, it seems I completely overlooked that one reply of yours. Kudos for keeping up with everyone, great job! -
Well then, I guess I shall take a look at the piece of parchment (carefully, so as not to damage it) wrapped in the copper ring. Read out any writing on it, show it to the rest of the group if there are any diagrams or drawings. I don't much care for the copper ring though, Jack can hold onto that. Copper just isn't my style.

Alrighty. My internet was down for a couple of days, but it's back now. And so am I! Everything's coming along nicely, kudos everyone! ~Peace -
Oh, wow, this statue is amazing! I sure wouldn't want to run into one of those creatures, eh? Hmm, I think I'll just tap on the "solid" walls through the archways, to see if there's any hollow sounding areas. I'd also like to ask everyone if they're wearing any silver jewellery or the like, and also sheck if I'm wearing any. If you want to be serious about this whole silver saving your soul thing, then we should see if we have any other than the sword.
-
Maybe he turned into an animal. I'm not serious of course, but maybe... if you believe in Animorphs...
-
Everyone? You mean anyone, right? ... Right?! I don't think it's the best idea to go retracing those footsteps through the jungle, but there's always curiosity in the back of my mind, wondering what it all means, who's footsteps those are and how they just stop like that...

Jedi Duel - Introduction & Discussion
iamded replied to pedro's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wow, you sure have this fleshed out wonderfully, pedro! Kudos indeed. I'm very much keen to be a part of this! Peace :skull: -
Oh, right, yes. 4 S's. My mistake. But isn't the first thing after 'He', 'Slivers'? Not 'Silvered'?
-
Oh, look at that! A sword! I hardly noticed all this commotion with the stones, I was too busy with this anagram. Should you just rush and and pick it up though? I mean, we confiscate knives, but not large swords? I would like to see if it's still sharp. Not by touching it myself of course. Diesel, perhaps you wouldn't mind checking?
