I would like to check under each of the six desks, and then take a look into the interrogation room. If it's unlocked, I would like to go inside and look around.
-
Alright, before I ran upstairs with the rest of the group I assume I took the keys! It's what I would have done had I been commenting on my actions at the time. I invite anyone to inspect my office, I've nothing to hide. I would inspect it myself, but I'd rather we have someone else's word as well, that my office is clean and tidy. (Something I'm quite proud of.) In the meantime, I shall get the layout of the squad room, and look through any drawers I find, taking any keys or notes that might be inside. You never know...

Red Scare Mystery -Confirmation and Discussion

You'll have to excuse my incessant insistence and constant contriving. I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment and want to make up for my lack of participation over the past few days. ~Peace -
I'm tempted to run in and check out the other office as well, and compare any differences for clues. As well as check the drawers, desk, window, see if anything is hidden under the lamp-shade or things along those lines. These Communists are tricky, we must search everywhere for any clues. But I can't do any of what I just said, I'm far too busy checking the hat-rack, papers and drawers. Remember, we can get more done if we all pitch in!
-
Hat racks! I would like to check the hat racks, see if there are any hats on them that perhaps match the hat we found. I would also like to read the papers, and check the drawers to see if they're unlocked, and it they are, I would like to look through them for anything suspicious, and read any notes I find. I don't want to do everything though, I'll let someone else check the window and lamp.
-
There are still two offices to check here, right? I would like to see if each office has a name or indication of ownership on the doors or desks, then I would like to get a layout of each office. And finally I would like to check the desk of the first office, for any notes or papers or suspicious materials.
-
Alright, let's see. Once this mysterious note's been read out, we'll go back to the ground floor and look around. We should still investigate the reception area, then the offices. Actually, who knows how long people will be hanging about down here. Can I go back up the stairs and have the reception area described to me? After we've investigated the ground floor, we can then make out way up through the floor, investigating away, until we reach the precious roof some of you are so eager to see.
-
If there are any drawers, cabinets, or anything with an openable something behind which items are stored, I would like to open it, and see what's inside. Can.. can I do that? Or will I have to be more specific? Alright, I guess I'll stick with just looking around for now. Yes. <Ahem> Straightens tie.
-
What's the rush to get to the roof? We'll get there all the same if we stick with the plan and work our way up. I would like a refresher of the room we're in, what it contains, where to doors are. We're no longer in the basment/cell area, we're in the ground floor, correct?

Hold on now. That folder that Chief Phelps opened, you say it had the contingency plan, in case we don't catch the Communists? I would like to read said contingency plan.

Red Moon Confirmation & Discussion thread
iamded replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
From the sounds if it, this seems to be less of a forum game and more of an interactive story, much like Batbrick's "Interactive Apocalypse". He held that in the Other Themes forum, as it was more a series of MOCs with a great story weaving them, and Post-Apoc MOCs go in 'Other Themes'. So the theme of your interactive story, hawkyboy4, will determine which forum it goes in. I would agree with Flitwick and suggest PM'ing Dragonator about this first though, as he can determine the level of interactivity you're planning and whether it fits into Batbrick's poll style interactivity, or whether it's classed as a game and requires threads of discussion etc. On topic, I still would love to hear an ending to Red Moon, but I understand how busy real life can be. -
Red Scare Mystery -Confirmation and Discussion

Admittedly I haven't been around for Chapter 2 as much as I'd like (I do love Mystery games) but I've got my internet connection all up and running now, so further posting shall proceed unhindered! -
I'll stay with the mayor, whichever group he chooses to go with. I also think the Chief of Police should stay in the Town Hall so we can unlock the armoury. I meant to mention this earlier, but I think once the armoury's open, we should compare the weapons inside to the weapons we've found. Another thing, I think some police officers should go to the group heading to the Department Store group. That's the direction our mysterious stranger fled to, and especially in times like this the law must be upheld, so we'll need officers to arrest him. Ah, I'm glad the Chief has decided to stay. Great minds think alike, it seems.
-
While we're still standing around, I would like to look around the doorway to the Hall, in case there's anything of interest.
-
I suggest we search bottom to top. It seems more efficient that way. I don't think we should leave someone guard at the door, they might get snatched away. That's a very foolish idea, leaving someone away from the group by themselves... I also disagree to the idea of splitting up right now. We're stronger as a group. I'm also a tad suspicious of the Life-guard. There's commotion at the light house, and we catch her there, and we only have her word to say she isn't a Communist spy... And now she's gone off to get ready for her date, or perhaps to tend to more Communist business... Just a thought.

Oh, er, I must have fainted after discovering the Mayor was missing! We owe this towns success to him and the decisions of him and the town council, thank God he's back safe! Yes, the Town Hall. Maybe I can point out some things as well, that others might overlook, being a Councilman and all. Now come, we must make haste! No time to wait around. I also opt to head to the Town Hall, and I would like to keep a watchful eye over Mayor Bradford in case someone tries anything again.

Chapter one's over? Argh! I'm not usually one to miss an entire chapter, my apologies to Bob. I've just moved house and was busy unpacking, I still haven't got the internet on my computer and am using my sister's lap-top in the meantime. I will definately be here for Chapter 2! ~Peace -

<straightens tie> Brilliant. Everything is on schedule, fantastic. We'll be weeding out these Communists in no time! -
REVIEW: 7327 Scorpion Pyramid
iamded replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Brilliant review, Hinckley! Man oh man, Adventurers have returned with a bang. These new Egpyt (sorry, Pharaoh's Quest) sets look great, especially this one. As you've said multiple times, this set is a great parts pack, as well as a great model to show off. I think my favourite part would have to be the minifigures. That Anubis is so awesome! And strangely enough, the first thing I thought when I saw the mechanic's torso was how perfect it would be for Inglourious Basterd's 'Bear Jew', Donny Donowitz. But yes, this Pyramid set is arguably the figure-head of the Pharaoh's Quest series, and rightly so with the Pharaoh minifig, and the awesome Pyramid. So, thanks again for the great review, Hinckley! -
Well I can't say that was entirely unexpected. Good game people, and damn you Quarryman. ~Peace

Will Ackerson - the last remaining town councilman, and the only one not to flee from the Communist threat - confirming my presence. Let's find these Communist spies, and show them true American justice! -
Every Planet We Reach Is Dead -- Gorillaz. Gotta love Demon Days. I still haven't gotten around to listening to Plastic Beach...

Oh, man up Mayor nitwit. Like you've never killed a man in cold blood. I'm not evil. I'm professional. Yet for some reason I lost all my killing and self-defence abilities the moment I came to this stupid town. Neutrality's a bitch, particularly when there's a price on your head. Detective Quinn may find some peace in killing Erwin and I, but in doing so he becomes no better than us. I had a family once too, you know. And another thing, all Erwin and I had to do was survive! Quinn's the one going around killing, so who's the real monster here? I mean, he's not even getting paid for it! A waste...
-
Well, shit. I finally get back from my nap, and Dick's been convicted. What the hell good is a biker gang without our boss-man? Not only that, but that bloody Quarry guy is still alive and unconvicted, which means I'm as good as dead. Well, screw it. Bar-keep, give me a drink! Oh that's right, the bar-keep, my good buddy Erwin, is dead. Well I'm sure he won't mind if I help myself then... <Ian drowns his sorrows in free booze for quite probably the last time, as the day fades to an end> Oh, and, for what it's worth, I vote: stupid scummy Detective Quinn Man/Quarryman. How long has it been since I killed your family? Honestly, get over it. Just let it go man...
-
Maybe you misread... But... Erwin! NOOOooo! He was my buddy! You bastard, you could have gone after me instead and finished the job, but nooo, you had to go after the bar-keep! Who's gonna serve us drinks now, hmmm?! He may have been neutral, but he wasn't harming anyone! Damnit, Quinn, you're dead! Stupid 'Detective' Quinn has killed my buddy, just because of some silly little job we did. You could have put it behind you, looked to the future. No point dwelling on the past, and all that, but no! Stupid stupid stupid. I know who I'm voting for today, even if I'm the only one, damnit.
