  1. Cheers for the link Athos, I'll give the MOC a good look over there.
  2. A great MOC you've made here Athos! The snow topping on everything along with the mistletoe give it a very festive look, and I love the fully decked out interior too. Great addition with the light-up stained glass window as well. Fits wonderfully onto your Christmas card.
  3. I would like to go back the the Town Hall, I don't like leaving things unfinished. Then I'll be happy to go to the farm.
  4. Neat card you've made here Athos! A very festive scene indeed. Is this a MOC I missed out on or was it made exclusively for this card?
  5. Very cool! Everything just looks so nice. I like the stars and moon details, and the micro-scale Santa & sleigh are a very neat addition.
  6. Arkham City's heading in a very nice direction, I think. Looking better with each trailer I see.
  7. Awesome creations, tin7! I love the Gambit fig, and the Callisto fig is awesome. I knew I'd see the troll helmet on Juggernaut one day. Great job!
  8. I saw this on flickr and loved it! Great MOC you've got here, and I agree, he needs GIR to go alongside him. Keep up the good work, Mariann Asanuma!
  9. I may be a tad late to the discussion, but man those look great! Another excellent addition to the BrickArms arsenal.
  10. The last movie I watched was Napoleon Dynamite, because I hadn't seen it in years and decided to dig it up. Always a laugh. The last movie I watched that I hadn't seen before was Superstar. I was told it was in the same vein as Napoleon Dynamite, but, well, not really. Sure it had a socially awkward protagonist and you're typical ending, but it lacked that certain something Napoleon Dynamite has. It did have Will Ferrel though, so it redeems some points there. The last movie I've watched several times within the week because I am obsessed with it, is Scott Pilgrim vs The World. I got the novels and soundtracks, and am just soaking up everything Scott Pilgrim. A definite recommendation if you like romantic comedies with fighting, awesome music and classic video game references. And Michael Cera. Seriously though, it has an awesome cast and characters and was a thoroughly enjoyable movie.
  11. Okay, I'm not sifting through 16 pages. I'm just gonna say my thoughts on TFU2 and be gone. So when I saw the first teaser video of TFU2, with the Rancor being crushed by that giant something, and Starkiller coming out with TWO LIGHTSABERS ZOMG, I was pretty excited. Then the big ol' cinematic trailer with Starkiller pulling off all sorts of crazy stunts and slick moves to bring down giant robot baddies only amped up the excitement. But since it's release I've only really heard negative reviews, saying it's basically TFU with some more good, bad and ugly stuff thrown in. After giving it a bought of game-play on console I can say it is very similar to the first Unleashed. It's quite repetitive, I wish there were more variation in the quick-time moves/cinematics, that was the major thing I noticed. Lots of the same thing there. Still, if it gets the Steam Christmas Sale treatment I'll probably be tempted to pick it up, as cheap games on PC, my platform of choice, are hard to pass up. Especially since it's still fun to slash up Stormtroopers and toy with them using the force.
  12. Okay, so the question I'm getting from this is "Why is it considered okay to use things from Brick Forge, BrickArms etc, but not clone brands like Megabloks?" For one thing, BrickArms and Brick Forge make quality products, I know BrickArms and Brick Forge use ABS plastic, like Lego, whereas Megabloks and other clone brands use cheaper plastic. Also, clone brands tend to be in competition with Lego, wheras custom accessories are made to compliment building block brands... Wait, everything I said has already been mentioned. Well then, I'll just be going...
  13. A very detailed, helpful review you've done here, Cygnet! The comparisons will indeed be helpful when choosing what brand to go to for your headgear of choice! Kudos.
  14. What are you reading?
  15. Hmmm. I'm pretty sure The Human Centipede fits under all three categories, as my thought when hearing about it was basically, "Wtf, why?! That is so disturbing." 'The Crazies' (2010 re-make) would in my opinion be a 'Why?' one, due solely to the ending. It kind of ruined the movie for me, but I'm just that kind of guy. I think 'Superstar' (the 1999 one) is another 'wtf' one. It has the social awkwardness akin to Napoleon Dynamite, but it just wasn't as good. I always appreciate Will Ferrel though, so that redeems some points.
  16. Oooh yes. Thanks to Scott Pilgrim and my recent obsession with everything related to it, I got the soundtrack and have discovered some awesome new songs and bands thanks to it. Some examples: It's Getting Boring By The Sea, by Blood Red Shoes And of course all the songs by the bands ' ' (Broken Social Scene) and ' ' (Beck). Good stuff! Alright, I think I've got enough words and links for anyone who's interested. (Each link goes to the respective youtube video.)
  17. Well, I read the Scott Pilgrim series. Graphic novels still count, right? Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed those books. I think a second read through is in order.
  18. Phew, Zeph, you sure like those trans-red 1x1's, don't you? Still, good to see Eurodina going strong. And good to see so many townie deaths. Viva la Noodlución!!
  19. Settle down Chief, that's just a statue.
  20. Well, I love mystery games, so I'm having a blast. Let me know if I'm doing too much, I don't want to search everything and have everyone annoyed that they didn't get the chance. ~Peace
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks, Isaac5! I'm from New Zealand, so don't let the name deceive you, Eurobricks is for Lego fans world-wide. So sit back, relax, and enjoy all things Lego!
  22. Let me be honest, I read the topic title as "Cutty Shark" and was expecting a MOC of some knife-shark hybrid animal. But what I see before me is much better. A magnificent vessel indeed, with very busy looking rigging which gives that feeling of realism. A very grand and splendid look to it! Congratulations on building such a fine MOC.
  23. Well, I had my suspicions about this X-K2P, but to hear it as fact, well, this is just terrible! Mayor Bradford, I'm with you in this entirely, this is outrageous! We must regroup with the others and inform them of this grim discovery at once. We have some communists to find...
  24. Oops! Err... the Mayor didn't see that, did he? Erm, well, you never know what the Communists could have slipped into the water tank... perhaps it's for the best! Did I hear the Chief say, "34, 21, 56"? Well, I'll just... let the Chief deal with that. His discovery after all. Chief, wasn't the key to the Armoury in your desk? Perhaps we should check that it's still there, and pocket it for safe-keeping. I would like to search the rest of the Chief's desk, and then take a look under the seats in the interrogation room, in case anything is stuck under there. Just being thorough! I do love searching things. As a child, I always wanted to be a detective. That is before I settled on the much more suitable role of town councilman, of course! Now, let's see. Who is the mysterious man stealing files? If the note in the Armoury was his, then he claims to be a friend, and perhaps is in possession of U.S. Army equipment. Hopefully the other group will have more luck in finding information. What is the affiliation of the man? U.S. Army, perhaps, judging from the weapons, and the fact he claims to be on our side. What is "X-K2P"? Well if it's the most severe contingency plan, I wouldn't doubt it being something sinister... Oh my, I talk to much. What else must be search? And what does everyone else think of all this?
  25. I assume all the desks have been checked? If not, I would like to check all unchecked desks! And also the water cooler, you never know...
