Will give you a woody - No, it's not how it sounds! I mean a Woodstock Bourbon and Cola! Here, on the house.

Oh man, I was so excited that the question I asked came out as an exclamation! Anyway, about this whole 'voting' fiasco. Think about it guys. There's already someone with penalty votes against them. If we all don't vote, that person dies, and we all get penalty votes the next day, as well as piss off God. The other option is, we all do vote. I'm in favour of this. I don't wanna piss off God, and I really don't wanna piss off Frown-line Bloodbrick. We vote for whoever seems most suspicious, and if we can't decide on that, then we vote for the person who would be killed off if we didn't vote at all, that being Mrs OCD Penalty Vote over there.

This is what happens when you say you're ready to start right before you head to bed... Six pages in already, and I hear Bob's dead?! Looks like I've got some reading to do... -

What am I even doing here? I'm not some whack-job like half o' you guys. So I levelled some extra buildings, so what? The boss is always tellin' us to give 110%, I went above and beyond! And my reward is this? Whatever dudes. If anyone needs me, I'll be in my bunk. Knock first... -
Just a whore - Y'know, I'm not sure where this came from. It probably resulted from an off-forum chat between Shadows, Draggy and I. I blame Shadows.

That's just crazy enough to work! Well... we're in a mental hospital, so I guess everything is crazy enough to work. -
Kudos to Hinck for not only putting so much effort in to give us a great game, but for putting so much effort into the post-game, commenting on everyone's performance, and revealing every detail we could possibly want to know. It's like the Special Features part of the DVD. That's dedication! Excellent work Hinck.

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: sign up thread

Oh def. Why do you do these things to me? Belville Mafia I was really into, so much so it drove me a little crazy. I was convicted on the second-last day and that was my escape from that. I decided to take a break from Mafia games, but then along came Baritones III. Come on, I can't pass up playing in a legendary Baritones game. And so I played away. Did you know it's impossible to convince anyone to vote for Dmitri? It's like the townie's ears are painted on. Painted on by the scum. And they all ignore your desperate pleas and Dmitri goes on to live his wretched scummy life while you lie in the gutter after being riddle with bullets by three different people because they hate you that much. In the conclusion, mind. So I stuck through the entire game, desperately trying to convince the town to not be so stupid, only for it to end like that. Stupid scummy scumbags. So now I really need a break from Mafia games, otherwise I might go mad. But NO. Señor Canny Bolero has not forgotten about Bloodbrick's Asylum. This must be my last Mafia game before my break. I can't let the sequel go unplayed. Please let me in to the asylum! On a slightly related note, I always get Depeche Mode's stuck in my head when I think about Bloodbrick's... -
Well, I tried. Mafia games are too megablocking stressful. Hinck, you were an awesome host. I always love playing in your games, the story telling is top notch, and I love the characters you give me. I'm honoured to have taken part in a Baritones game. Draggy, and the rest of the scum: My momma always said if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. But I'll admit you guys played a good game. I'm just bitter that Dwankie was never ▓▓▓▓ing lynched. Woo! Yeah, you were pissing me off pretty bad by arguing with everything I said, but I still had you pinned as a townie so I was just . You'll notice my night action reads "Each night you may gift one of four inventions to another player.", so having read this I figured I'd send Sandy an item on night 5. I totally missed the ending that said "This action can only be used on even night starting with night 6.". I knew Sandy would be sceptical after that, but when I was blocked on Night 6 I knew Sandy would never trust me. Ah well.

...Wow. Can I just like, leave town? Go somewhere with less tin roofing, a higher appreciation of art, and where people are smart enough to vote out that god damned Dmitri?! This is getting ridiculous.

Baritones 3 Confirmation and Discussion thread
iamded replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I should note that I'm away from home for a couple of days, but as you can see now, I've managed to get internet access where I can. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get my vote in... -
I've been rather busy painting all day and haven't had ready access to internet talk to you all. However, I think it's entirely obvious that Dmitri is scum and no one can refute that. Stanislav said right from the beginning that he was 100% sure Dmitri and Denis are scum. Thank god the poisoner has managed to confirm this, coupled with Dmitri's failed 'investigation'. He never was an investigator, guys. Come on. Anyone who defends Dmitri today, or in the past few days should be regarded as highly suspicious to any townies out there. And now that I'm here and voting's open I'l going to vote the hell out of Dmitri. Vote: Dmitri (Dragonator)
-
Actually can I just, can I place my vote now? Because I've stuck with it for the past 2 days and it's not going to change until scummy scum scum-scum Dmitri is dead.
-
Oh ▓▓▓▓ you. ▓▓▓▓ you. Sorry, I keep spilling paint on my speech bubble. megabluck you dude, is what I've been trying to say. Is this the proof that all the townies needed? Dmitri is mother-lovin' SCUM. Come on guys. Shtanislav was right from the get-go. Dmitri's scum and you townies have been so ignorant as to entirely ignore that. Jesus H Christ if we don't convict Dmitri today, well megabluck. In that case, Wilem will have been right and this town will have been too stupid to make it through this.
-
What?! ▓▓▓▓ you dude! All I've tried to do today is go after that scummy Dmitri! I don't recall actively defending Wilem. Wilem contacted me in private and seemed like a legit townie trying to help, so if it seems I've been defending him it's probably because I trust him much more than I do Dmitri, and if the vote is either for Wilem or Dmitri, then yeah, I'm gonna want people to not vote for Wilem in favour of Dmitri. I think 'converting like crazy' is making it sound more important that it is. There's always a limit or a delay on conversions with Mafias, and it doesn't matter if they're Baritones or Russian Mafia, every scum will go for a conversion rather than a kill. (A kill nets 1 less townie, a conversion nets 1 less townie + 1 more scum recruit.) It's day 6, it's likely each Mafia will have converted at most, 2 people. Any more seems just unfair for us townies.
-
I was looking over roles and such, and what if the grenade was hijacked? And delivered to Nika instead of Dmitri? Just a thought.
-
Nooooo! You forgot the colon! It's Vote: Dmitri (Dragonator), not Vote Dmitri (Dragonator)! (Yes that is my vote. Your lies have no effect on me, Dmitri!) Err, wow. Woops. I forgot to speak boldly. That is of course, Vote: Dmitri (Dragonator).
-
It's not that he's dead, it's that he's a confirmed townie. His death is just what proved that that he is a townie, and a confirmed townie's word is, for me, of more value than a tricksy supposed scummy 'investigator'. Usually when talking about days, God does mean days in this game of life. However I'd love for your theory to be correct. 2 days in this game of life is a long time to wait for results...
-
I voted for Dmitri yesterday because I very much believe he is scum, and I still don't believe his investigator claim. I didn't switch my vote to you as everyone seemed to be ignoring that option, so I figured we wouldn't get enough people willing to switch their votes to you and that sticking to my guns was the best option. And it's not Wilem being on the chopping block that made me bring up you as an option. I'm not even thinking about Wilem, I'm still sticking around this Samuel/Dmitri/Denis triangle, trying to find out who's who there. I say that they are both scum as that is what Stanislav said. He was 100% sure that Dmitri and Denis are scum, and I'm sticking with that claim. Fine, you want to convict Wilem? So be it! Let's all vote for Wilem then! I still believe Wilem is town, but if it's his conviction we need to learn something here, then fine! Wilem has told me that Dmitri, Denis and the rest of his supporters will be going after him today, so when he's convicted and revealed as townie, hopefully the other townies that are still alive amongst all these scum will realise that Dmitri and Denis are scum, and that we should have gone after them ages ago.
-
Everyone keeps saying that! Just because he's dead doesn't mean he's WRONG either! In fact, him being dead could be all the proof he needed, like if he were to wind up dead then he'd know for sure that Dmitri or Denis were scum because of some crazy plan he came up with or something. I can't believe no one is even going to take a chance on this. If he said something like, "I've got a feeling that Dmitri's scum, so... yeah" then I'd be happy to look into more valid leads, but the truth is he made it very clear to several people that he was 100% sure Dmitri and Denis are scum. And we're entirely ignoring this! It's absurd. Irene... wait, that's me! Bah! And I'm a she, thank you very much. And if Wilem is not a scummy scum? Then you'll have made a grave mistake. The Mafia could be incredibly close to victory right now, maybe this is the last push they need. And I wasn't on Dmitri's 'bandwagon', I started the damn thing. I'm sticking to my guns here, and saying that I'm damn sure Dmitri is scum, and has been lying to us this whole time.
-
ALRIGHT FOLKS. Let's discuss the option that we all seem to be ignoring. It has been made clear that Stanislav was 100% certain that both Dmitri and Denis are scum. You all seem to be unwilling to vote for Dmitri (Oh no, he's our investigator! That can't possibly be a filthy scum lie! ) so how about, in order to test this piece of important information we've all been recklessly disregarding, we vote for ol' Denis? Surely Denis won't have a problem with this if it can help the town get organised and maybe even just win here! If Denis turns out scum, then we'll know that Dmitri is scum too and everything he's said has been a god damn lie, and all the people defending him and backing him up are likely his partners in crime and we might just have a chance at winning this thing. If Denis turns out to be a townie, then we can finally have faith in Dmitri's claims. Of course, this'll all take an extra day to find out because we're so ▓▓▓▓▓▓ good at this () that we didn't convict anyone again, and we should have done it yesterday, or when the information was first brought to us and I'm sure Stanislav is turning in his grave in frustration as we all seem to be continuously ignoring the confirmed townie's dying claims.
-
I'm so angry, I could scream. But, I shall remain calm and composed, and use this anger to create a masterpiece of a painting later on. Angst sells for big bucks. I would like to say that I am extremely vexed that we didn't convict ANYONE yesterday. If we'd convicted Dmitri and found his allegiance, we'd gain much more direction in who to go after. Hell, I'd have been happy if we'd convicted Samuel instead. As much as he's my friend, I still don't know for sure if he's town, so convicting him would give solid information once his allegiance was revealed. But no, no one was convicted and we learn absolutely nothing, and what's more it'll take an extra day to learn anything from night killings and what-not. (This is where I'd yell in frustration, but no. Caaalm...) See, if Dmitri showed up scum (which I'm sure he would have) then we'd be able to trust Samuel more, and we'd know Denis is likely scum too (as Stanislav was certain both Dmitri and Denis were scum), and probably Patrick as well, as yesterday he was rallying against Samuel and defending Dmitri. On the contrary if Samuel was convicted and found scum then we'd have reason to believe Dmitri's claims and so on. Instead we learn nothing, and are cursed with this ▓▓▓▓▓▓ delay in gaining information that we need! (See, I painted over the swear. ) <sigh> Okay. Fine. I'll see where this Wilem thing goes, but if he turns out townie then I'm nailing you to the wall, Dmitri.
