  1. Big Cam's from the future!! Do we have flying cars yet? Hey, Metric only made one song for Scott Pilgrim! And I was just listening to their other stuff. I went and got a bunch of their albums a while ago, and only listened to one or two at a time. Um... although I am still listening to Metric at the moment... Mainly the album, 'Old World Underground, Where Are You Now'. I love Emily Haines' voice. But I'm also listening to LIVE. Lightning Crashes, Heaven and The River are their only songs I really know, but they're awesome. Man are they awesome.
  2. Wow. That was exciting! Gotta say I didn't see that coming. Any of it. I was sure they weren't Communists... well, now we know! How about that...
  3. Many thanks guys! May birthdays really are the best.
  4. Well said Hinck. I'm diggin' the design of Raw-Jaw. Big, hulking, and bad-megablocks!
  5. Congratulations guys! Good to see I voted for each of the winners. Enjoy your well earned prizes!
  6. Happy (belated ) Birthday Tanotrooper! I hope you had a great one.
  7. Finally grabbed some series 4 figs. Gnome, Viking, Soccer Player, Werewolf, and my all time new favourite, the Punk Rocker! He is, in my opinion, the coolest mini-fig to date.
  8. That's what I like to hear. You teach 'em Hinck!
  9. You think I killed Laura? Was it my violent past, my traumatic childhood, or my sneaking about at night that tipped you off? Oh wait, none of that exists. I'm a town councilman, what reason would I have for killing anyone?
  10. Just like to point out there weren't actually any killings last night. So it is entirely possible the communist spies just didn't attempt to kill anyone last night. Then again, I assume that's an absurd notion if they at all wanted to win this thing. So just disregard that. These new circumstances we find ourselves in are indeed... motivating. We haven't caught any commies yet, it's time to re-evaluate.
  11. Metric. I'm listening to all the stuff I skipped through when I first got their albums. It's really nice to go back and give the stuff you breezed over a good listen. On A Slow Night and Combat Baby are two. Also I'm back listening to Elena Siegman's songs she did for Treyarch/Call of Duty, with Kevin Sherwood. Gotta love 'em.
  12. In a perfect world, those pages of comments in the 10 minute creation threads would be constructive criticism and motivation for the builder to invest time in more elaborate creations, and then the elaborate creations with time and resources invested in them will have just as many pages of praise (and even more constructive criticism so as to further better oneself as a builder).
  13. New colours never go amiss! And orange is my favourite colour, so all the better!
  14. Man oh man oh man. Just so many great entries! Too many to choose from, so I took the opportunity to choose the most by splitting my vote seven ways. 8) Garmadons Ultimate Fortress by lisqr - 1 point Giant, evil, forboding. You've managed to do a lot with pretty much just two colours. And the all-time over the top feature, it transforms into a tank. How could you not give this a point? 13) Attack on the Nile by Yatkuu - 1 point While not the biggest entry on the list, you've definitely proven that size isn't everything. Both boats look great and fit in with the theme wonderfully, and Sobek the croc is done in the perfect way to match the current Pharaoh's Quest creatures. So not only was this a great build, but it looks like it could really be a PQ set as well. 18) Treasure Hunt on the River Nile by Nieks - 1 point Oh come on, this is just great! Look at it, it's magnificent. Smooth and sleek, yet big and powerful, with nice details. A fantastic boat indeed. 21) Professor Hale's Oasis Hacienda - 1 point This is great. Fantastic detailing with the droid legs, and I love the little waterfall off to the side. The car is excellent as well, and the whole building has a fully furnished interior. It really is wonderful. 23) Serpent Ruins by Siercon and Coral - 1 point Siercon and Coral! Famous for your fantastical creatures and creative foliage. Your Lover's Glade MOC showed the beauty you can pull off in your scenes, and now this MOC shows exactly how you can contrast that with murky swamps, crazy creepy foliage, and killer plants! Besides the hidden flora death-traps, the architecture of the ruins is just great as well. 27) Ninjago Red Castle by ACPin - 1 point Surprise, it's another fantastic MOC by ACPin! Oh who am I kidding, no one's surprised. I've yet to see a MOC of yours that I haven't liked. The modularity of this is great, once again fully decorated interiors. The colours look great together and you've managed to stick it on a base-plate with compromising the whole look of it, actually adding to it. The scorpions used as detailing are of a course a great touch. A well deserved point to you, sir! 28) The Excavation of the Fortress of Ra Ahmin Ka by Tervlon - 1 point Oh man, this is worthy of an impressed low whistle! The whole mix of colours you've got on the walls looks great excellent use of the old hieroglyph covered bricks. And another fantastic interior, this one also with lighting features. Great detailing, and packed with minifigs, you gotta love that. I think it's quite obvious that this deserves a point. I know I used the word 'great' a lot, but I mean it each time. I mean, 'good' is... good, but these are just great! Well done everyone, and to all the people I didn't vote for, I saw a lot of fantastic MOCs that I just didn't have any more points for. Once again, great job everyone. Even you chief.
  15. 1. I will be away in June, but with computer access. 2. I may have played one or two... or nine... 3. My favourite animal, just like smittyfan, is the tiger. They're cool cats. 4. No, I'm not signing up. I just like answering questions. This'll be a fun Mafia game to follow from the sidelines though. I love your style of hosting, and it's neat to see new players have a crack at Mafia. I look forward to spectating this.
  16. Alright fine. I've been reserved about voting for the Captain, but gosh darnit it seems his fate is pretty much sealed, and I sure don't want to be empty-handed when we're caught... Vote: Captain Garrison (Lord Arjay)
  17. If someone tried to bribe me, they sure didn't tell me anything about it...

    Post your own art

I do rather enjoy your comics, def. I particularly liked your comics about comics, that one was great. And informative! I enjoy design and drawing, and have a deviantART account of my own. I often get these great ideas in my head, but just can't manage to put them down on paper (or rather, monitor ) right. Still, that's the whole challenge, isn't it? Anywhom, I'll just sneakily link me DA right here and I'll post my favourite doodles here when I get them done.
  19. Okay, if I may chip in, maybe you can use your creepy watching action every few hours or whatever, but Dolores can only use her action at night, you know? Like how that makes perfect sense given it's nature?
  20. Righto, we're on the boat again! Phwoar, what an occurrence that was. We could have been killed! Crazy, absolutely crazy. I'd like to locate the mayor and stick close to him, for the time being.
  21. Nice review, Jammiedodger! This set look a lot more appealing than I initially thought. Great selection of mini-figs, and loads of parts that I could get lots of use out of. Oh, and that mystery tin in the bag must be the 'little seasoning' Jack Sparrow garnishes himself with.
  22. Thanks Hinck! It was very informative reading everyone's critiques. (What? I was supposed to read only mine? ) It has to be said again, this was a great game and I really did have fun with it. I wish I'd played on the lady-killer part of my character more, I think that would have been rather entertaining. If there's one critique I have for you, it's that you misquoted my final night action! I tried my best to parody your day opening, but I don't think I pulled it off very well... Ah well. I look forward to the next game you host Hinck!
  23. Great MOC Etzel! Love the mini-figs, they fit in wonderfully. Nice landscaping and interesting technique for the tree!
  24. I'm loving all these character bios.
