We need 9 votes to reach a conviction, yet currently there are 9 votes total. That's a whopping 7 people who haven't voted today. Come on people, you need to do something. It's Day 5, we can't afford to waste time now... Err, I of course meant 6 people who haven't voted. Still, that's a lot! Catya, Falicia, Patrick, Polina, Raya and Vera, your votes can make this day count.
-
Not sure if that's accidental or intentional, but you know how picky God is with his votes. I distinctly heard a forward slash instead of the hushed tones of parenthesis there. ...Well, not that that matters since you unvoted. So, if we convict Dmitri and he turns up scum, then we can be sure Stanislav was correct and therefore Denis is also scum. Which would make Samuel's word more trustworthy and would make Patrick seem incredibly suspicious.
-
Hey Dmitri, what if you're a naive investigator? That seems like it could entirely be a possibility if you weren't scum.
-
Enough of this dilly-dallying. Vote: Dmitri (Dragonator) I really, really don't trust him. As soon as I read his 'confession' I knew something fishy was up. He 'confessed' his supposed role far too early, if he really was the town investigator it would surely have been wiser to wait for more pressure to be placed upon him. Instead it seemed he cracked when the slightest amount of pressure was placed upon him. (Giving in on page 2? Come on dude...) Perhaps him and his scummy compadres planned his defence early in the case that people turned against him? Perhaps they knew they had taken out the town Investigator so there would be no one to conflict his 'revelation'? What added to my suspicion was his supposed targets. Two out-going town players, who he confirms for us as town. Yan and Samuel. Now I do believe Samuel is town, which Dmitri could have cleverly planned. Say two town players are town, so when he's lynched and confirmed scum we'll doubt their loyalty and lynch them, thinking Dmitri was covering for them when indeed they were town all along. Sound farfetched? It's happened before. I'm not crazy! And then there's him saying that Stanislav is townie, when of course he's already been confirmed town, so he gives us reason to trust him as his results are so correct! Faking an investigator and giving factual results due to the knowledge of who is and isn't scum given to him be being scum himself, to make us trust him. Then when we least expect it, bam! He turns on us and the scum win. Well not this time! No sir! Oh yes, and all the people who insist that he's scum. That Stanislav was so certain of it. I'm on to you Dmitri!
-
... Damn. Well, we've had better nights, that's for sure. And I bet there's someone who's been poisoned too. Bah! This is not good. I'm still suspicious of that Dmitri, after Stanislav's alleged adamant pre-mortem accusations.
-
Hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm. No, this painting needs more red. And a splash of blue there... Yes! This is coming along nicely. Oh, er, yes. Voting. I shall indeed cast a vote. But it seems my vote is of little to no importance in the convicting of someone right now. I could vote for Ruxana like everyone else. The reasons are all there. Unblockable tracker? Please... Or I could vote for Dmitrinator. I sure don't trust him, mainly because several people have been rather adamant that dearly departed Stan said he's not to be trusted. And he just so conveniently happens to be our investigator, which he makes clear as soon as he receives any flack. Classic scum tactic... Then again maybe he is the town investigator. And maybe Ruxana is an unblockable tracker who is on the town's side. Or maybe she's the serial killer! Okay, that's just me guessing there. What the hey, I'll feel better if I place a vote, so here it goes. Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator) Hey, you've still got your vote! Great job champ!
-
Gosh darnit! This poisoner just has to be a serial killer, right? No scum would kill their own godfather, unless the poisoner was also an usurper... And if it's a vigilante, well... do be more careful! Try to get the godfather again! Hmmm. The days got a lot quieter rather quickly, didn't they? Although I guess we've lost quite a lot of people. And we're still waiting to hear from Ruxana then. Righto.
-
A-ha! Another who embraces my idea. Yes, 'fabricating results'. If Dmitri is scum, then he can tell us what we all want to hear! Listing off deceased confirmed townies leads us to believe he knows what he's doing, and then saying Samuel is a confirmed townie to confuse us. Or something. Point is, he can tell us what we want to hear and hope that we believe him, knowing we'd be hesitant to vote him off in the case that he really is our investigator. If I may chip in regarding the Inventor. This claim that you have a bulletproof vest is what adds to my doubt of your claims, Dmitri. One of my friends in Blackwood is an Inventor, and he can make one of three items each night, each of which is a one-time use. In order to stop people from harassing him he'd make a deadbolt to lock people out and stop them from ever getting to him. In understand Invetors can vary greatly between towns, but in my experience with bulletproof vests they've all lasted more than one night. So I just have a hard time believing that our ex-Inventor made a bulletproof vest for you that can only last one attack. That goes against all I know about bulletproof vests. Which is quite a lot considering I'm a painter.
-
Two more townies dead! Oh, how tragic! But at least we nailed a scummy Mafioso, so it wasn't a total disaster! Well hold on now. How about this. You tell us you're an investigator, so you give us reason to be hasty about considering voting against you as if this is true then it's a great loss to us. Then you say you have a vest that grants you immunity from night-kills? If you're so bulletproof, why not admit your role as soon as you got your vest? That way us townies could have a reliable source to go to and we could also coordinate who to target at night. And no one else has talked about your big confession yet today? What's going on people? I dunno. I'm not buying your story, Dmitri. I'd like to hear more from Samuel about this. Later though. The day is just starting, which is perfect time to get some painting done. And maybe some sculpting too as that is actually my job. Turns out 'artist' doesn't automatically mean 'painter', who'd have thought?

Bahahahaha  Ah, excellent conclusion today Hinck! You should write books. -
Hey, I was just thinking. What if Donil or Ruxana is a bomb? So when we all rally our votes against them the last person to do so gets taken down with them? Just a thought. Bombs are scary things, and don't make for very good friends.
-
Looks like them votes are tied again. I'm going to go with my original decision and vote for the one so adamantly accused today. Vote: Donil (Waterbrick Down) I have my unvote ready and waiting however, and shall return tomorrow to check back in and change my vote if need be. Tomorrow being the time after I've got some more painting done, that is. It will still be today, Day 3. Anyway. Off to paint some more.
-
Woops. Sorry God. Plenty of time left for us then! That's all well and dandy, but shouldn't we be focusing on the people we're focusing on today? You're coming along and further splitting the vote when we're already trying to follow a pretty major lead. Sorry, but this made me giggle. How do you expect the people to explain why they had their hands raised in the air in one of the photos from this morning? How does one 'explain' that? "Well there was a dead body, and I was shocked at it, so I raised my hands in shock." I'm sorry but I don't quite know what you want from them there. Hahah. He was the mob boss, remember. It's entirely possible he had a bunch of evil night actions to choose from each night. It's also possible the scum as a team had a handful of actions to share around, making it hard for us to pin them down on a single person. It's happened before. Right, now I'm starting to get very concerned about the changes made in this Full Moon Festival. And I think I've found it! Check the fourteen commandments everybody! Specifically, commandment number 2! Oh my god I found it I found it I found it! I'm useful! Let me just repeat that. That's what Ivan was referring to when he said, "So many people are going to die if they don't look at everything." So now we know! Everybody, make sure to place your votes! (Unless you're scum. )
-
Wha- eh? I've... I've missed something then. Have I? I was following Denis' conversation nicely enough, then you say that and you're all unvoting and I don't understand. So we're trusting Stanislav now? As much as we can 'trust' anyone right now, that is. Does this mean we should be looking towards Ruxana and Donil again? That's where I was looking before. But I was confused by it all. I'm easily confused. It's why I paint, painting is not confusing. Dangit, I really want to place a vote today but I just don't know. Maybe I should follow Denis' lead as he seems like a nice chap, and proxy to Samuel. How much longer left in the day? Like, just under 12 hours? I'm off to get some more painting done, but I should be back in time.

Hah! Hahaha! Good job Mr or Mrs. Poisoner, you hit the nail on the head this time! Although there's still the fact that you're probably a serial killer or a member of another Mafia, but in future please try to restrict your killings to Mafia scum. Thank-you. Now, it seems voting is open. Reeeally tempted to place a vote against Donil. If we're wrong about him then we'll be losing a townie with a helpful night action, if we're wrong about him and vote for someone else he'll no doubt be killed by a Mafia. If we're right about him though, we'll have nailed a scum killer. I'm thinking that the scum share their night actions, so really we'll have just taken out a scum goon and they'll still be able to kill, but it's just a thought.
-
Oooh, yes. I forgot the possibility of there being multiple Mafia groups in our little town. Good point Samuel! Now I'm off to paint some more. The partying of last night, despite the fatalities, was great inspiration for artwork! Or maybe that was all the booze. Either way, I'll return later, no doubt to pages upon pages of conversation to read through.

2 more town deaths, andβ hey hey hey, wait what? Did we just catch a scum? Ruxana followed Donil last night and saw him target our dearly deceased Yuri. Yuri is dead. That's what dearly deceased means. Well, it's what deceased means, I added dearly out of respect. But you get the picture. Donil targets Yuri, Yuri becomes dead. Occam's razor states that Donil is the killer. (Look, it's all bold! Isn't that sinister!) It's possible he could have been watching, blocking or investigating Yuri also, keep in mind. It's not possible he could have been protecting Yuri, as he was seen following Yuri therefore wasn't blocked, and of course Yuri's dead, therefore he wasn't protected. I'm entirely eager to hear Donil's side of the story. I'm also entirely eager to slam my vote down upon Donil, and see what we get. If he comes of a clean innocent townie, then Ruxana may have some explaining to do...

This is looking really awesome Khorne! I love with W.I.P MOCs, seeing the advancement and development of the build. This one is certainly looking fantastic this far, and I look forward to seeing the final product with it's unique sail and a crew of Atlanteans manning it! Keep it up man.

I can see why people suspect him, but I just don't see him as scum. I'm kind of curious as to what the big scary no-lynch penalty is. I know not convicting anyone and having wasted the whole day is penalty in itself. But, will it be a non-voter who gets killed off, a random townie that gets killed off, or maybe no-one gets killed off and there's some other penalty, like night action suspension or something. It was made clear in the rules of life (#5) that there will be a penalty though. Y'know what, it's best not to test it out, but darn it who to vote for...
-
Maybe he just hates yoga? So... Petr or Barbara, huh? I don't really see reason, well okay, no. I see the reason behind voting for Petr but I don't believe he's scum. I think he's trying to be a proactive townie in a different, creative way. Or he's a crazy scum trying to do... something. Cause confusion maybe. It's working. I don't feel he's scum, but I've been wrong before. What exactly will we learn if we vote out Petr and he's a townie?
-
I admit I haven't been exactly thorough in taking in all of today's information, but I did hear the gist of it. The style of killings has had me thinking. Perhaps the scum have a variety of methods to kill people, yet can only utilise one per night? Let's say each night they can choose between converting a townie, killing someone, or poisoning someone, yet can only convert one every x days, or x amount of times to balance things out. Something to consider, eh? (Unless it's been mentioned already, in which case I'll just go back to my painting...) As for the accusations against Zeph- er... Petr, I can verify he contacted me, and a couple of the other folks whom he contacted came to me asking what it was all about and what I thought of it. I think he seemed pretty townie-ey to me, but the points raised against him seem valid too. Hmm... tricky...

Benji! Nooooo! My dear beloved husband! What is this town coming to, that we must lynch our own. Me mustn't let Benji's death be in vain! That, and I haven't seen his will yet. I get to keep the house, right?!? Anywhom, I sort of trailed off and began painting yesterday. There was so much chatter and jibber-jabber, looking for any useful information there was like picking through a garbage tip for unbroken art supplies. Which I hopefully won't have to go back to, fingers crossed regarding Benji's will... I pondered the option of not voting on day 1 and how that would consequence us all. I was sort of resigned to the fact that we'd be voting off a townie, as statistically that's the highest probable result. Right? I mean, I'm an artist, not a mathematician, but it's pretty obvious with so many of us here. I didn't find any arguments compelling enough to join in on the vote, and being distracted with my art didn't end up voting. I didn't even realise it was own husband who was lynched until the start of the play, but the play was so compelling I had dared not interrupt it. Anyway, now that I've hopefully explained any questions that may be asked, I can focus on focusing on the chatter of today, and hopefully find or present some compelling arguments leading to the conviction of a scummy Mafioso! Erm, after my nap that is.

Baritones 3 Confirmation and Discussion thread
iamded replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Aw, dangit! This is what I get for checking EB right before going to bed. I have to wait for Day 2 now. -
In my opinion, voting someone out because of their character and personality (read: role-playing from their character description, entirely unrelated to their game role) is just as smart as voting someone out because they have an evil-looking moustache, or because they're pudgy. In other words, it is entirely not smart. I saw no credibility in Nika's accusations, (despite how fine she looks in her uniform ) solely because they were based upon Eugene's personality. These Mafia types aren't going to slip up on the first day, they're going to be sneaky, deceitful, sowing the seeds of confusion. If I had to guess, I'd say the Mafioso scum would wait for a townie to get really riled up against another townie, then when sufficient additional townies jump on the vote, they'd join in. Not all of them, they'd divide themselves up to make it harder for us to pin them down. It's bloody hard catching scum, isn't it? But we'll find a way...
-
Hahah, you sure speak from the heart. Wow. Did someone slip something into the coffee and donuts? I can see saying that coming back to bite me as 'it doesn't help us catch any scum' and blah blah blah, but lighten up folks. Just 'cause the Mafia are in town, doesn't mean the world is ending. Town's beaten them back twice before, I'm sure we can do it again. Now, about first day voting. I know, I know. It's been discussed to death in past books, but there are so many of us here, now. Which makes circumstances different. Perhaps first day voting is not the best thing to do. We no doubt have an investigator who can find things out in the night, so at least we'd have that tomorrow. And we have the power of private messaging here, so we can use that to our advantage as well to try and establish alliances, or at least check some other people out, or something. I don't know, I'm just thinking maybe Denis had a point earlier.
