Yes I am honestly surprised they did an even distribution for this set. I wished they would, but wasn't expecting it. Makes it easier for sure as you don't have to worry about having extras to get rid of. Already have a box on preorder ?

The Lego Batman Movie series of Collectable Minifigures are being released in January, bringing a 20% price rise with them. Retail on these will be $5.99, and there are 20 to collect this time around. Fair to assume all future series will be the same price too?

When do you think we can expect to find out the Minifigure distribution per box? I'm not sure I want to commit to preordering a sealed box of 60 just yet when we can't be sure if there are 1, 2 or 3 complete sets per box. They've gone up $1 / 20% here in NZ, from $4.99 to $5.99, although you never really need to wait long for a retailer to do 15 to 20% off.

I'm really impressed with the quality of the printing on these. While not a huge Batman fan, I'll be getting the series as I like collecting the CMF range. It looks like there are enough unique pieces to make identifying each character not too difficult. I'm very interested to see the distribution for each character per box.

Surely it is time for a doctor? There was a nurse in series 1 and a surgeon in series 6 (both females). Am I missing it or has there never been a male doctor in the CMF series?

Wow USD$90 shipping to NZ and that's without the original box! Seems awfully steep.

They're $4 at The Warehouse & 2 for $8 at Farmers currently :) we grabbed a couple more Babysitters since the girls love the baby so much.

As long as Disney series 2 isn't comprised of over 1/3 of the characters as "variations" of series 1 characters, it should do very well. I still cannot understand why they had to do variations of the family and Milhouse in The Simpsons series 2 when there were so many more characters they could of done. This is why they are still in shelves throughout the world.

Just read this on a closed local FB Lego group I joined. Obviously not official but interesting none the less: News to hand coming in January, the next cmf's SUPERHEROS and 20 to the series and worldwide increase in price, so $6 in nz. Also a stack of batman lego movie set for release, the NZ distribution for the ideas sets are looking later in the year, the disney castle will be available on S@H for 18 month (approx) there will be another release of Porsche gts in the early months of next year Further in the comments it was hinted at 3 sets to a box too. So perhaps not just a Lego Batman Movie theme? Or is this old news? Price rise sux, but my usual place usually has a 20% off preorders which would help.

Now my question/concern is, would they be nice enough to have an even distribution of all 20 characters and have 3 sets to a box as they have done for a while now (Disney was great having 3 sets and then only 6 leftover unique characters), or will they reduce it to 2 sets per box and therefore only have roughly 2, 3 and 4 of each character? Or do something crazy like have the box with more than 60? I highly doubt this last scenario, but sadly I can't see an even split happening, as much as I would love it. It would surely make the secondhand market pricing more stable however.

Exactly. If I ever place another order I can grab another for dirt cheap. That's why I grabbed a few Mr. Golds, that was the minifigure I wanted to look as nice as possible, so I figured ordering a few would be my best shot at having enough pieces to make a good copy if anything was wrong with one or two of them. Yes I think the shipping time was pretty fantastic, I expected at least 2 to 3 weeks and was ok with that.

My first ever Ali Express order arrived on a signed Saturday morning courier, even though the tracking page makes it look like it is still waiting to leave China. I placed my order on Tuesday 23 August, so 11 days including weekends isn't bad at all to little old New Zealand. I used T T Toys and everything arrived correctly. My flesh coloured minifigure didn't have one of his hands attached, but it was loose in the bag, so it pays to give everything a good shake out and double check. Pretty happy with the quality overall, for the price they were I wasn't expecting perfection. My light blue minifigs left hand looks like it has been splayed open and is a weird shape, honestly I don't know if it is even bother mentioning it to the seller. I have since managed to squeeze it closed to match the other one, but there is a white stress mark visible still. Mr. Golds left leg/hip also isn't perfectly lined up, even when forced onto a base plate. Everything is very stiff with this minifig, so it can just sit by my computer monitor at work. I got a few extras too which look in better condition. Mr. Gold and the two Walking Dead characters came with an extra hand each. TWD figures are nice, both with back printing. 1 out of 20 is pretty good, especially when recovering from an illness. I'm patiently waiting (like a lot of people) for the Whitefang review, as his group photos with similar characters are always awesome :)

I've promised myself I won't go down that f#!$&n rabbit hole! But it is so tempting when they are so cheap, and the shipping being so cheap too.

Awesome, thanks for your very informative post, and to the other couple of people advising their experiences. I doubt it is something I will get into on a big scale, so it is good to know that I should be fine dealing with TT Toys. I will advise when they arrive and the condition for future reference :)

I placed my very first Ali Express order with TT Toys last week. Is there any feedback that people can provide from buying from them? I see their pictures used a bit through this thread so thought they should be ok.

Toy World should have them, they did on the weekend. The Warehouse finally has them online so you might be talking about them. Are you wanting a full set or just some? I might be able to help either way :)

Yep easy mistake to make. If you find a 2x2, look for a 1x1 (compass) or a sword to determine who you have.

I got my full box delivered yesterday. It had a "DO NOT PUT ON SHELF BEFORE Sep 1st, 2016" sticker on the outer box, so maybe not everyone will fully have them out until then. I also got 5 Rogues and 4 Desert Warriors instead of the other way around as some people have listed, which isn't a bad thing as I think the Rogue looks better. I think my Hiker face printing was a bit too low compared to other photos I have seen. I've only opened one of them at this stage. I know what you mean; I had back surgery two weeks ago and dreaded the thought of trying to hunt them down and stand there feeling the bags. So I ordered a box which should be here in the morning :)

These are now in stock with a couple of New Zealand retailers (Toyco and Mightyape) It seems like so long ago when we started seeing posts and photos of these popping up in the States, so it is our turn finally :)

Expect to start seeing stock of Series 16 Minifigures in stores. Toyco and Mightyape have today received their stock, so everyone else should start having stock out soon. Update: Many Toy Worlds have stock out. I rang my local and they do.
