  1. I was browsing and placing an order through Chrome on my PC yesterday and a few times the page would become non responsive, I just waited it out and it came right after about half a minute. Chrome on my iPad doesn't like that site much at all!
  2. They're due for release next month in a few countries; maybe the stock is being allocated/prepared for them? I'm so glad I've preordered a box so I won't miss out :)
  3. I am really tempted to order a few of the Pogo Mr Gold figures. I've never purchased any non-genuine minifigures before, but just the novelty of having this will be neat, and it'll only be a few dollars. I also saw series 1 minifigures available too, might grab a Zombie for the hell of it, as I don't think I can ever bring myself to spend that much on the real thing.
  4. Update: this morning Toyco have them on pre order, ETA the 23rd of September! I really, really hope that NZ won't have to wait two months later than the USA. A full box will set you back $239.52 (freight free). I would love a full box again but I'd get too many leftovers. Disney was perfect, only 6 leftovers after making 3 full sets and the rests sold easily on TradeMe. Unless someone wants to go thirds and have 4 leftovers each? $80 for 20 figs, with a guaranteed set of 16, as soon as they have stock, and I am well practised at bag feeling so they would still be sealed.
  5. Series 16 that everyone in the USA seems to have already? I searched my local Farmers & The Warehouse today with no success. I'm keeping an eye on all the usual places and their websites as I want the full set. They look fantastic!
  6. How easy would you say each character was to feel in the bags? And is the distribution posted a few pages back correct? Really hoping to find these in NZ early next month!
  7. Bugger :( I was messaging a staff member at Toyco too and they know nothing about an early release on these. They also mentioned no Disney Castle available for any NZ retailers, just through Lego.com due to some licensing issue.
  8. Awesome, let me know if you see or hear of these being anywhere in NZ :)
  9. Woohoo this has to mean your long awaited review can't be far away! My box has arrived so I will be opening these tonight and make my pick. So far I'm thinking Cheshire Cat.
  10. The Disney Minifigures are in stock with Mightyape and I read in the Disney forum here that they have been sighted in some ToyWorlds too. Still waiting on Toyco for my box, but might try my local ToyWorld this weekend for a couple I want as extras (maybe even 1 or 2 for my kids!) Edit: no luck at Te Rapa ToyWorld. Spoke to the workers and said the other stores were naughty for putting them out early. I also noticed MightyApe Toys FB post from yesterday was removed, and now they are on preorder. Edit #2: Toyco have stock (individual figures and boxes). Was chatting to them on FB and LEGO NZ gave them permission to release them early since others already have (presumably some of the ToyWorlds since Farmers and The Warehouse still have nothing). So these should be popping up soon :)
  11. Oh wow! I wonder if Toyco will get/release their stock if they get stock soon. I want my box! What fan group is this? Edit: Mightyape have them in stock too!
  12. Toyco's ETA was around 20th of May when they were first up for preorder. Now there is no date so I guess their first shipment has all been pre sold. Haven't seen anything on any of the other usual places yet, and heard they have already popped up in Australia just recently.
  13. That's awesome, well done again. My success rate the last couple of times has been 100% too, and taken around half an hour each time. Got at least one other person wanting a full set this time around so figured I would get a box and doubt I'll have trouble off loading the third set. Gonna be waiting a few more weeks at least,as they never come out at the beginning of the month in little old New Zealand :(
  14. Well done! How long did you spend feeling them all out? I have preordered a box so I will be able to take my time this time around.
  15. Any thoughts on the quantities of each character per box? If they stick to 60 bags per box, do you think we will still get 3 complete sets per box? This would only leave 6 extra bags per box (18 x 3 = 54), which I would personally feel make me more inclined to buy a box, and there would be less 'rare' characters and most likely no "5 per box" ones if they made the 6 extra bags "4 per box".
  16. Which figures are likely to be more valuable later down the line? I have 2 extra shark suit guys still sealed in their bag, but suspect some of the "3 to a box" ones could be worth saving as well. I am kinda late to collecting these (started around the movie series) so would like to be able to swap some out down the line for other rare ones I have missed out on, such as Santa.
  17. I just received a email from Toyworld advertising buy one get one half price Storewide, so buying two LEGO items of same value would equate to 25% off the lot. It starts today and ends on Monday, so with the two stats on Friday and Sunday you only have 3 days to make use of it.
  18. I've seen the Hamilton Toy World do this a few times too, not every pack, but maybe a box or two's worth.
  19. I really didn't even think about it until you two mentioned it. Sure, it would be nicer if it was a bit more shiny. I took a couple more pics outside via my iPad but it's not too sunny. His helmet really doesn't look that dark compared to the rest of his apparel so the photos aren't entirely accurate. I'm not sure if these photos will help any, or just add more confusion! Overall I think he looks good and I'm happy with him.
  20. Yes series 15 Minifigures are out. I've seen them at two Farmers stores, and it sounds like all Toy Worlds have them too. We grabbed ourselves the whole set which took about 50 minutes of bag feeling
  21. As I had hoped, we found 4 reasonably full boxes at Farmers so my daughter and I stood there for around 50 minutes doing our thing. We got a full set, plus a few extras that we wanted, and we got 100% success rate The Laser Mech had me confused, as I wasn't expecting his sword to be flexible, but I went with my instincts and got him. The Queen was easiest to feel for, and the Shark Suit Guy second, although I was expecting his costume to feel a bit bigger in the bag than it did. Someone was asking for the barcode not long ago, so here you go: Here are the 20 bags we got: And here's the full set: Best of luck to everyone still hunting them down!
  22. Sighted in Farmers Chartwell (Hamilton) they were on the counter and I was heading to the movies so didn't have time to feel or buy any. Will pop into town Farmers tomorrow and spend some time on them, since they are down the aisle it won't be so awkward :) Also on The Warehouse website now so more than likely in stores.
  23. They're now on the Toyworld website so I'd say all or most stores nationwide should have them. I'll be at Farmers tomorrow so will have a check and maybe grab some of the rarer ones to get them out of the way. Shouldn't be too hard to feel out, they all have a fairly unique piece each.
  24. I think only 1 Toyworld has them at the moment, I had to search some of the individual store's Facebook pages to see the post mentioned above. I will wait until someone has them for 20% off as I want a full set and a few extras for the kids.
  25. New Zealand store showing these in stock now, both singles and a sealed box of 60. https://www.toyco.co.nz/toys/construction-and-blocks/lego/lego-minifigures/lego-minifigures-71011-minifigures-series-15-5702015594646 None of the other usual places have any mention from what I've been able to find. Hopefully any day now :)
